Chapter 2 The Profile

Cleo's pov

Cocktails with the girls was always fun. I was a bit miffed when Tia said Kyle was too good to be true. We spent hours talking last night and he seems like a great person. I mean, he's hot as hell and saves people from burning buildings! Doesn't get much sexier than that yet the way he talked about his life, his family, his friends, his volunteering at the soup kitchen, there was just so much care and compassion there. What does she know anyway? She hasn't dated in two years. Not since Todd anyway.... but then that was a telenovella in itself!

Well, it's time she gets back in the game. I grabbed my phone from down the side of the sofa. "Smile!" I demanded. She looked at me shocked but I snapped away anyway. She looked like a deer in headlights but a cute one with those big brown doe eyes and bouncy dark curls that the light loves to bounce off. Candid photos are always better I think. I reached down and rummaged in my bag for my laptop.

"Now, Instaconnect or Lovebomb?" I asked.

"What's the difference?" Queried Tia

"Well Instaconnect is more for quick hook ups. If you're looking for love then Lovebomb is definetly the way to go" I explained. "That's where I met Kyle".

"Well, skeptical as I am, if you aren't taking no for an answer then lets go for Lovebomb" she sighed.

"Ooh yay!" Marissa said, clapping her hands. She shuffled up beside me and grabbed the laptop out of my hands. "This is going to be fun! So, username? Something cute but descriptive..."

"How about TastyTia?" I suggested. The room errupted with howls of laughter. "Or maybe, being serious now, just TiaRose?"

"I like that. It gives my name without giving away my actual name. Go for it!" Tia actually seemed to be getting into this!

Marissa tapped away at the keyboard squinting at the brightly lit screen. "OK let's get this show on the road!" She seemed more excited than Tiana. I guess living vicariously through us was something she needed after all...
