Chapter 9 THE NAKED

I barely slept-

Such that when morning came and the first rays of the sun shimmered into my room. I jolted awake.

I sat up and I instantly felt beyond dirty from all my forbidden activities from last night. I needed to take a shower and I also needed to be ready in time to see my mother off.

So I hurried out of bed, stripped myself naked and ran into the bathroom. I allowed the water to wash away my sins and I told myself that this was going to be the end of it.

I was not going to let myself fall for my stepbrothers' charms again. I was going to be more responsible and put an end to any relationship they wanted us to have.

I was going to be a better daughter to my mother and not be the cause of her marriage failing.

When I was done giving myself a pep talk, I walked out of the bathroom, cleaned myself up with a towel and picked out a new pair of clothes.

As much as I wanted to just wear pants and an oversized t-shirt, my mother had instilled in me how important it was to dress up for breakfast and dinner. I was not to be seen around the house in ordinary clothes either.

Which was why I had to wear the dress I was now holding.

It was a soft pink color, corporate and professional. It had a slit by the side that stopped at my thigh. It also hugged my body and showed off the curves I had.

I exhaled sharply and walked out of my door only to meet my mother just entering the hallway.

"There you are. You and Rylan are late for breakfast. Reid and I are leaving after breakfast so none of you can skip it."

All I saw was how she flayed her hands around dramatically.

"I'm sorry," I muttered.

She only shook her head at me. "Go get Rylan, I need to be by Reid's side."

I widened my eyes at the mention of his name. He was the last person I wanted to see.

"I- I don't even know his room. Besides, you could go there yourself."

"His room is the last door on the same side as your room. It will be good for you to get him so that you two can bond," she turned and began to leave.

"What!" I exclaimed but she was already gone and I was doomed to be the one to do it.

I sighed heavily as I stared dejectedly at the side of the triplets' rooms. I knew this was surely going to end with me getting into trouble eventually.

I finally began to walk down the corridor until I reached the last door. I knocked once.

There was no answer.

I knocked again.

"Rylan, it's-"

The door slowly creaked open, indicating that it had been open all along. I stopped trying to knock and slowly peered into the room.

"Rylan?"

Silence was the only response I got. Was anyone even in this room?

I decided at the last minute to walk into the space. Perhaps he was on his balcony?

I paused and stared around his room in awe. It almost felt as if it was bigger than mine. His walls were painted white and he had different paintings hanging on his walls. From artwork to old writings, his table was filled with papers and I was drawn to them. I wanted to go uncover all the words that were poured into them.

They didn't seem like work documents but rather literature, art. I never took Rylan for someone interested in reading. I wondered whose works were scattered on his table.

I was about to walk to the table when a door a yard away from the table came open and Rylan walked out stark naked.

I froze as my body paled up and he stopped in his tracks, almost surprised to see me.

I swallowed hard as I took in his nakedness. Damn! This man was fine. He looked as if he had been carved by the gods himself.

His chest was rigid and strong. I did not have to touch him to know that they were made perfectly for him. He had tattoos of a flying bird perching from tree to mountain, all painted well on his body.

When the sun's rays touched him, it made the water droplets on his skin glow like diamonds and I wanted to licked them with my tongue.

I hungrily moved my eyes below his stomach and I inhaled sharply. His cock was long and thick and strong, as if it had been carved by the devil himself.

I swallowed the bile that had risen up my chest as I thought of my night with Cassian. I had imagined so much, not knowing that Rylan could leave me hungry and lust-stricken merely by gazing upon his naked body.

"So now, you break into people's rooms uninvited, don't you?"

My mouth went dry as I tore my eyes away from his perfect dick and looked up into his ocean blue eyes.

I began to shake my head at him, unable to speak as I was obviously still overwhelmed by his body. He started walking toward me, not breaking eye contact once and this made me begin to back away as well.

"I- I came to inform you that dinner's ready," I finally said when I found my voice.

He did not say a word. He kept coming at me, taking away my space until my back hit the wall and like his brother, he blocked away any chance I had at escaping.

"Does that give you the right to stare at my nakedness?" He softly asked while looking down at me.

I gasped, as I was truly a culprit to this crime. I did not know how to defend myself.

"I- I didn't mean to- I didn't know that you were-"

He suddenly shut me up by placing his thumb against my lips. "I don't want to hear any of those excuses. It won't change the fact that you already saw me."

He trailed the outline of my lips with his thumb deliberately slowly and I felt my heart begin to pound heavily.

Eventually, he pulled his thumb away and sucked it loudly. Then he bent so that my face would be level with his.

"You saw my nakedness and for us to be even, I'll have to see yours too, Nyra. . ."
