Chapter 7 THE ALONE

~NYRA

Rylan swiftly pushed off my body before tucking his hands into his pocket.

"She's hopeless. . ." He whispered and walked away.

"But you felt it, didn't you?" Cassian asked as he began to go after his brother like I was not even here.

"We can all feel it," Sylver muttered before disappearing into a room.

I remained frozen on the spot as I continued to tremble. My brain found it hard to process what just happened between me and the triplets.

They claimed I had a rare scent that was driving them crazy. I had no idea if that was really a thing or they were just saying that to play with my mind.

Then, there was the fact that my stepbrother had just kissed me and I enjoyed it! Enjoying it was the greater crime.

How was I going to explain this to my mother?

There was no way that I could tell her. She would say that I was trying to ruin her marriage.

I released a shaky breath and stepped away from the wall. I hugged myself as I felt the ghost of Cassian's warm hand on my stomach and Sylver's lips on mine.

I had no idea what their exact intentions were with me but I could tell that whatever it was, it was going to be sinful.

I entered my room and went to wash myself in the bathroom, allowing the water to keep running down my face as if it would wash his kiss away.

Yet every time, the memory of him kissing me kept coming back to my head, almost as if I was already missing him and I wanted him to continue to the next level.

"Shut up, stupid bitch!" I screamed at myself before running out of the bathroom.

I wiped myself dry and got into a short nightdress. Then I made sure that I double checked if my door was locked to avoid unwanted visitors in the middle of the night.

When I was satisfied, I collapsed into my bed. However, no matter how hard I tried, I could not sleep. I kept tossing and turning and before I knew it, it was already late into the night.

There was nothing but silence in the house. Everyone had gone to sleep. So I squeezed my eyes shut and decided to keep it that way till I'll fall asleep.

"Nyra. . ." A strange voice suddenly called in a singsong manner, breaking the comforting silence that had filled my room.

I frowned and looked around. There was no one in the room with me.

"Nyra. . . Help me. . ."

I gasped as I sat up immediately. It seemed to be coming from outside my room. Could someone be hurt? Was it my mother?

"Please. . . Save me. . ."

I released a shaky breath just as a strange tug at my chest forced me to my feet and I shot out of my bed with determination.

I could not understand why I was suddenly filled with the urge to help whoever it was. Normally, I would have ignored it but something within me wanted to help this person.

So I took out the jacket that came with my black nightdress and put it on before quietly unlocking my room.

I peered around and saw that it was dark all over. The lights were out. I did not want to risk waking anyone up so I walked back into my room, looked into my things and found a small torchlight.

I smiled triumphantly and turned it on before walking out of my room. I stood before my room not knowing which path to take when a strong intuition told me to go in the opposite direction from the triplets' room.

"I have no idea what I'm doing. This better be worth it," I whispered before beginning to place one foot before the other.

The hallway was long and I had no idea where it led to. I was beginning to grow tired and was in the middle of convincing myself to turn back when I found myself coming to a stop before a pretty interesting door.

There was nothing special about it but I just had this strange conviction that whoever was calling to me was behind that door.

So I reached my shaky free hand out and pushed it open only to flinch backward in shock. Because standing behind the door was the golden eyed brother.

Cassian.

"Are you lost, baby girl?"

I flinched, dropped my little flashlight in the process and staggered back away from him in shock until my back hit the wall behind me. Cassian only chuckled before blocking out my escape by slamming both his hands on the wall- on both sides of me.

"Where do you think you're going? Did you follow me here?"

I widened my eyes at him and began to shake my head vigorously. But he only tilted his head slightly at me before beginning to trail my cheeks with his finger.

"Were you so mesmerised by me that you couldn't help but come after me?"

His voice was low as he breathed it so close to my ears. An involuntary shiver seized my body and I was so close to trembling.

"I- I didn't. I was just-"

He cut me off by pressing his body against mine even harder and he began to sniff my neck like earlier.

"Why have you decided to tempt me tonight? There's no way that I can resist this much temptation. . ."

My lips began to quiver this time at his words and I felt him begin to plant warm kisses on my neck. I bit my lower lip and resisted the urge to moan but his kisses were doing things to me.

Things that I could not explain and I found myself wondering this-

If his lips alone were able to provoke this kind of tingling sensations on my skin, what would his cock do buried within me?

Then again, this was not right. I needed to stop this. I had to find a way-

A sudden moan escaped my lips as I felt his hand grab my breast. And I bit my lip again in embarrassment. Although, I was not biting hard enough to draw blood.

He kept planting kisses on my skin, going lower until he fully exposed my breast to him and he took my nipple into his mouth.

My heart started pounding hard as thoughts started swirling through my mind. What if we got caught? What if Reid appeared at this moment or my mother?

Yet the adrenaline of doing something forbidden sort of excited me and I allowed Cassian to keep doing what he was clearly good at because he did not seem to care about getting caught.

He grabbed my other breast instead while he sucked and kissed my nipple hard.

I was already dripping wet because of his warm mouth before I felt his hand go under my dress and into my underwear.

I gasped with shock when he inserted two of his fingers into my throbbing and wet softness.
