Chapter 5 The Almost Kiss.

I hate my mom.

"Seems like everyone is busy having sex," Zach, my lame ass boyfriend says while fucking me. The smile on his face is ridiculous. It makes me hate him even more.

My mother's moans are loud from upstairs. I think she took the room directly beneath mine to torture me with the sounds of the man I want fucking her. It should be me.

It takes one more scream of my mother's to drive me insane.

"I think we should break up."

"Please leave when you're done." I exit my room and head for the kitchen to take some water. It takes a few more minutes to hear the front door. I sigh, gulping down some water.

"What are you doing down here this late?" A voice makes me jump in the dark. The glass slips out of my hand and breaks into pieces of the floor. Dammit.

The lights come on and Knox is standing by the switch. He walks over to me and whispers a curse when he sees the mess I made.

"I'm sorry I frightened you."

He moves those sexy grey eyes to me. They are full of concern.

"Are you okay?"
