Chapter 4 Sapphire Walker

COMPUTER LAB

All the hackers and computer experts had their faces buried into their laptops without looking up as Rosario entered.

Look up during work hours, and die. That's the golden rule. There are twenty hackers in total.

The faces down rule excludes the leaders of the lab anyways, because they stood immediately Rosario came in.

They're not normal humans though, because their brains were computerized, not human brains.

"Welcome back Lord Rosario" Lush said with a cheeky smile.

"Enzo's location still remained unknown no matter how hard we tried to hack his IP address, I guess he has crazy backup" Pierce added beside Lush.

"Phones?" Rosario asked, looking at the screens of over a hundred systems.

"He uses burner phones, tracking is impossible too" Lush replied.

Hellcat came in.

"Cat!" Lush smiled.

"You smile at everyone" Hellcat muttered and didn't bother to look at her before standing beside Rosario.

"I took her back to the last apartment already," she said.

"Cool" he replied, not taking his eyes off the displaying systems.

"Why exactly did you bring her?" Hellcat asked.

"Don't know," Rosario replied.

Hellcat raised a brow and Romanio came in with Nightingale.

"Now that Blood is dead, Enzo will come out of his hole, Blood is his only son anyways" Nightingale said through the cigar stick on her lips.

"Yes he's his only son, but he's got a fucking daughter" Romanio replied.

"Preet?,She died two years ago," Nightingale said.

"That's what everyone believes, but she was sighted in Dublin last week" Romanio replied.

Lush pressed a button on the nearest laptop, and the picture of a girl in a hoodie appeared on the screen.

She was wearing a white hood which covered her face, so her face was unseen, except for the strands of brunette hair, sprawling out rebelliously from the hood.

"So... Preet is still alive? Then Enzo won't give up easily" Hellcat said.

"And no one has ever seen her face," Pierce said.

"Do we need to find Preet and clear her too? Logarithm arithmetic should help" Nightingale said.

"That won't be necessary, both Enzo and Preet will walk out of their caves once we take over The Imperium" Rosario replied.

"Blood is dead, The Imperium will get a new boss as soon as possible" Romanio said.

"Can't wait to know who, another loser like Blood? Will he disguise as a shaman this time?" Hellcat smiled sinisterly.

"Luca sighted!" Three of the hackers said at a time

They all rushed closer to the systems.

"In the USA? That bastard," Romanio said, rolling his gum in his mouth.

"Tell Bullet to prepare the jet, Rapunzel will fly to the USA with Pandora tomorrow, this greedy fool needs to be eliminated" Rosario said.

Hellcat made to leave...

"Tell Aaron to take dinner to her apartment," Rosario said.

"Mary?" Hellcat faced him.

"Her name's Mary?" Rosario asked with a glint of shock in his eyes.

"Yes," Hellcat replied and left.

"Dinner calls" Nightingale said and left too.

Lush and Pierce left after her.

"You tried shit with the sister?" Rosario faced Romanio.

"Shit? Fucking is not shit to me!, I'm not a virgin mafia like you Rosa!" Romanio shot.

"Don't do it again" Rosario said warningly.

"Else what? You brought her here against my opinion, then you gave her an apartment! I hate that as much as I hate her!" Romanio glared.

"Why?" Rosario asked hesitantly.

"Can't you tell?, Because her name's Mary" Romanio said hatefully and stormed out of the lab.

Rosario stood for a while before bringing out a cigar box from his pants pocket.

He lightened it but as usual, he wasn't able to take a puff.

He threw it down to trample on it before walking out.

DINNING HALL

The hall was already full when Terrius came in, he started searching for Clyde with his eyes as he stood by the door.

Terrius rubbed his tattoo, adjusting his cap at the same time as he continued his search for Clyde. Every member of The Falcon has a falcon tattoo at the back of their necks.

"Searching for Clyde? He's on the apple tree," Rapunzel said beside him.

He turned around to see her walking in with Pandora.

Pandora has a cold look as usual.

"Must he always be on that tree?" He said with a silent sigh.

"Are you still interested in eating?" Pandora said, getting bored .

"Of course, let's get a table" Rapunzel pulled her away to the crowd of brutes.

"Why is she always cold?" Terrius wondered.

He got his phone and dialled Clyde's line.

"Get your ass to the dining right now!" He said immediately he picked.

"I'm not interested in dinner," Clyde replied and hung up .

"Fuck you Clyde" Terrius said, pocketing his phone as he entered the hall properly.

The most powerful members of the empire eat together on a table, it's the largest table in the hall, secluded from the others.

Rapunzel, Pandora and Hellcat were already seated when he arrived.

"Heard Blood's sis is still alive" he said, taking his seat beside Pandora.

"Yes, Enzo is not coming out anytime soon," Hellcat replied .

"Can't wait for the trip to USA tomorrow!" Rapunzel gushed.

"The USA mob can be dangerous, Luca is a bastard," Terrius replied.

"Are you insinuating that we're simpletons?" Pandora faced him.

"No I'm..

"Forget it" Pandora interrupted, and Terrius sighed.

"Hi everyone!" Lush rushed in with Pierce.

"Food worms" Rapunzel smiled as they both sat on the table.

"What's for dinner?" Pierce asked, looking at Hellcat.

"You can't possibly be asking me that," Hellcat rolled eyes.

Pierce snuck into his seat with a pout on his pink lips.

Nightingale, Bullet and Virus came in at a time.

The fact that Bullet and Virus are Romanio's dogs made them close to Nightingale too, they move together.

Immediately they sat, Aaron pushed the food table into the hall.

Aaron is the chef, he cooks and serves alone.

He started by serving their table.

"This is too salty" Nightingale said immediately as she tasted the chicken.

For an unknown reason, she loves picking on Aaron.

"It's not salty," Lush said after tasting it.

"Same here, it's fucking okay" Pierce added.

"Shut the fuck up you two!" Nightingale yelled, throwing the chicken at Aaron's face.

Aaron hit it away before it could hit his face.

Nightingale stood slowly.

"Did you just.... Hit it away?" She sneered.

"Was I supposed to allow it to hit my face? I value my face a lot," Aaron replied simply and resumed serving

Nightingale picked another chicken and made to throw it at him again but Hellcat held her hand.

She took the chicken from her and slapped her with it.
