"You are quiet tonight, Ava."
Damien said in a deep voice while reading a newspaper. Ava sat across from him in the private lounge, her fingers wrapped around the stem of a wine glass. The chandelier lights seemed to concentrate on his torso, making him look more dangerous than ever.
"I'm just thinking," she murmured, trying to sound casual and not intimate.
"About?" he pressed, leaning forward, wanting to hear more.
"You," she said before she could stop herself.
His eyes narrowed, the corner of his mouth curving upward in a slow, predatory smirk. "Careful, Ava. That sounds very much like dangerous territory."
She looked away, her heartbeat already beating very fast. She didn't mean to admit it-not so soon. But ever since their intense kiss earlier that day, something inside her had shifted. She'd seen flashes of vulnerability in him. She has begun to see the soft side of him and wants to explore more. She wanted to see if the ruthless CEO could still show some emotions towards her.
Damien poured another glass of wine, the rich aroma drifting between them. "Drink."
Her brows furrowed. "I've already had one glass."
"Drink," he repeated, he said sternly, offering no option of refusal.
She obeyed, feeling the warmth spread through her, loosening her guarded edges. Damien was drinking too, more than usual. His tie was gone, the top buttons of his shirt undone, and for once, he didn't seem like the untouchable tycoon everyone feared and bowed to. Tonight, he looked... human.
As the evening drew closer, their conversations wandered. They talked about art, music, and childhood dreams which neither of them would admit to in the sober daylight.
"You drive me insane," Damien said suddenly, feeling horny.
Ava blinked, her pulse roaring in her ears. "What?"
"From the moment you walked into my life, you've been a problem I can't solve, and I hate unsolved problems." He said in a romantic tone.
She tried to speak, but he closed the space between them. His hands bracketing her face. His mouth claimed hers in a kiss that was nothing like she expected. The kiss was desperate and searing, as if he'd been holding himself back for far too long.
Her glass slipped from her hand and shattered on the floor, but neither of them noticed. His lips moved with a hunger that stole her breath; his scent was very expensive. His body scented like cologne mixed with whiskey, overpowering her senses.
"Damien..." she whispered against his mouth, but it only spurred him on. She didn't want this, but somehow her body longed for it.
He lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to his bedroom. Clothes fell away between heated kisses and rough, impatient touches. The world outside disappeared, and they were in their own world. There was nothing gentle about the way he took her. It was fierce and possessive, as if he was staking a claim no one else could challenge. And she, drunk on wine and the pull of him, didn't resist.
As they lay on the bed, he kissed her all over her body then fingered her p*ssy. Ava didn't want it but somehow couldn't move. He then pulled out his dick. Ava was surprised by how long it is. Damien went ahead and inserted it in her pussy, thrusting in and out while massaging her boobs.
Ava was no longer in control of herself as he was going on and on on her. She was in love with his hot breath as he kept f*cking the p*ssy raw like he owned it. Soon after, Damien released a hot load of cum inside her.
"What if I get pregnant?. "This was supposed to be a one-year contract marriage of no love," Ava said to herself as soon as she felt his release. It was then she realised that she was in serious trouble as their contract haf been breached.
Ava was still pondering on her thoughts when Damien reached over, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "You're mine now, Ava. Remember that."
She swallowed, the weight of his words pressing into her. She began thinking whether this is the same Damien who has been torturing her or this night was the effect of the bottle of wine they drank together.
When it was over, they lay tangled in the sheets, their breathing ragged. Damien was all sweaty, and for some reason she liked it and stayed in his arms. Ava stared at the ceiling, not sure if the pounding in her chest was from what had just happened or from the knowledge that she had crossed a line she could never uncross.
While Ava was still thinking about the whole chemistry that just took place between them. Damien drifted into sleep like a baby. Ava felt attracted to him just watching him sleep innocently by her side in his bed.
"Will things go back the way they were as soon as he wakes up?" Ava asked herself, feeling a bit worried. She doesn't know how Damien will treat her after tonight. While these things pondered on her mind, she fell asleep in his arms.
The morning sun flashed before her eyes as soon as she woke up. Damien wasn't in bed. She looked around the room and saw Damien standing by the window, shirtless. Her heart suddenly longed for his body, wanting to lay in his broad shoulders, only to be cut short of her expectations.
"Ava," he said softly.
"What happened last night should remain between us. It was nothing more than a mistake between us. Don't mistake it for love. The contract still stands, and I don't see you more than that." He said absrutly, trying to hide his feelings deep down. He felt something was wrong wrong with him for wanting Ava.
Ava was surprised at his outburst but couldn't react. After all, she has breached their contract anyways.
"I won't press charges since you are not the only one in this." Damien said as he left the room to avoid being attracted to her.
"Can things get anymore worse." Ava said to herself as she cover herself with blankets wondering about how she will move on with her life.
