Chapter 5 Into The Pool

It was already evening when Clara managed to get out of bed.

Rose had already set her dinner and was preparing to leave.

After dinner, Clara decided to take a walk around the Villa with Rose.

They walked to the garden and stood there.

Clara picked a flower and put it in her hair.

"Why don't we go see the pool?"Rose took Clara to the pool.

Wow,Clara gasped. She had never seen a pool like this. It looked really beautiful.

"This pool is way beautiful than the garden" Clara exclaimed.

"I know right. I made you saffron tea, it's really nice. I'll go get it for you"Rose said.

"Okay, I'll wait for you here"Clara said.

"Be right back" Rose said and hurried to the kitchen.

Clara looked at the glittering water and bent down to put her hand in the water.

She didn't know how to swim.

Kevin had just walked into the house to pick up some important files for Alex.

"You can't even swim,it must've been hard for you."Avi said and patted Clara's back.

"I didn't slip, someone pushed me into the pool " Clara said shocking everyone.

"Clara are you sure about that. You must've been mistaken."Alex Banks said as he tugged her hair at the back of her ear.

"I'm very sure. I saw the person myself as he ran off,he was a tall man dressed in black jeans and hoodie" Clara described.

"Check the surveillance cameras and find the guy "Alex said to Kevin.

He carried Clara in his arms and walked upstairs.

"Why did you carry me when people are watching, it's embarrassing "Clara said.

Avi watched Alex Banks carry Clara upstairs and smiled, she was truly happy for her friend.

She shifted her gaze to Kevin,

"I'll check the surveillance cameras with you "Avi said and collected the tea from Rose and drank it.

"Why would you help me?"Kevin asked, the last thing he wanted was to be distributed by Avi.

The thought of seeing her everyday at work was like torture to him.

"Somebody came in here and attacked my sister and you're asking me why I want to help. I want to know who that person is so that I'll kill him myself".

Avi said, her eyes looking all scary.

"Well I think you should leave the killing aspect for Alex,he won't spare that person. You can come with me as long as you keep quiet"Kevin said.

"Okay I will keep my mouth shut"Avi said and left with Kevin and the guards.

******In Alex's bedroom.

Clara sat in front of the dressing table while Alex was blow drying her hair.

Avi saw Alex Banks and immediately stood up to leave.

"I'll leave now Clara"Avi said and left the room.
