Chapter 5 Betrayal in the House

Sometimes, danger doesn't knock. It uses a spare key.

Rajiv, the family's driver, had been with them for 7 years.

He was loyal. Polite.

He even brought sweets on Diwali.

To everyone, he was "family."

But Anaya saw something no one else wanted to see:

He was grooming Rina.

Late-night messages.

Secret outings.

Whispers in the car.

Rina, too proud to admit she was scared, pretended it was fun.

Anaya tried again.

She told Rina gently,

"He's not who you think he is. Please be careful."

Rina rolled her eyes.

"You're just jealous no one talks to you."

That hurt. But Anaya didn't stop.

She started keeping notes.

What time they left. Where they went.

She even found Rajiv's fake Facebook account - filled with pictures of underage girls, hidden behind privacy walls.

One afternoon, Rina came home... her eyeliner smudged. Her silence louder than usual.

Anaya sat beside her.

"Did something happen?"

Rina didn't respond.

Later that night, Anaya checked Rina's phone when she was asleep. What she saw made her hands go cold.

Photos. Videos. Threats.

Rajiv was blackmailing her.

Anaya copied everything onto a flash drive.

She couldn't trust the family.

She couldn't go to the mother.

But she had to protect Rina - even if she didn't deserve it.

💔 That night, Anaya made a decision:

She was going to take down Rajiv.

Even if it cost her everything.

To be continued...
