I let my hand fall from her neck and then I dropped the gun reluctantly. I really wanted to see her writhe in fear. I wanted her to watch as I turned off the safety of the gun and pulled the trigger.

I wanted to see how she'd look with blood slipping down her pretty face with a hole in her head.

Fuck!

I'm so pissed right now.

Pissed at the woman in front of me. I had the urge to snap her neck but stopped myself. I could actually do it and bury her body somewhere no one would be able to find her but I didn't want to cause any trouble till I went back to the States.

I'm just here for a temporary job ,so I should ignore any other thing not related to my work.

But this woman has been on my toes. I'm not interested in pussy for now,I've got a lot on my plate.

She's making things hard for me.

Slowly,I turned to face Orion. She probably thinks he's my boss.

I scoffed, I wouldn't be wearing this crappy uniform if I had completed the job two years ago ,now I'm back here again to start from square one.

Disguising as a cop everyday just so I can infiltrate their security wasn't an easy task. This wasn't me, I should be somewhere putting bullets in people's skulls or digging my dagger in some assholes' heart not moving around town trying to find Remy and Mateo.

"What are you doing?" Orion spoke,faking surprise.

He was good at acting,we were all good at acting. She was just a civilian so we have to act normal or we would blow our cover.

He gave me a side eye and I could only clench my fists.

Mrs Rhodes started sobbing again and I had to close my eyes to calm myself or I would actually snap her neck.

" I requested protection from him." She pointed at me." Officers are supposed to be nice and not refuse to help if needed. It was just for a month till I felt safe again. That was all I asked,and then he threatened to kill me. He threatened to kill me because I wanted him to guard me from my stalker." She whined.

My jaw dropped.

When the fuck did I threaten to kill her?

Orion glanced at me,a pissed expression on his face." Eren,is that true? You don't threaten civilians, Eren."

My whole being felt hot. I want to punch something so bad.

Orion stepped fully into my office and offered her a napkin.

I just stood there with one hand on my jaw as I grinded my teeth. I should be over my laptop trying to connect those numbers not standing here dealing with weak girls.

He consoled her, said a few things to her that she nodded and then he patted her shoulders. He escorted her out of the office whispering some words of assurance to her.

As she stepped past me, our eyes locked. I saw that triumphant look in her eyes, she's crazy.

I knew she faked everything, I hate persistent whores.

Orion returned minutes later." Are you for real?" He threw at me.

I stepped past him, and went over to my desk." She was pestering me, I don't have the patience for that."

He moved over and stood in front of my desk." She's a civilian,you are supposed to act the part. Why the hell would you say harsh words or even threaten to kill her?"

I shrugged nonchalantly." I only spoke my mind. I don't have time for this Orion, I'm leaving in an hour."

He sighed." You can't."

I was in the middle of opening my laptop when I paused to look at him." Since when did you start giving me orders?"

" I already assured her that you'll guard her house six hours at night and six hours at day. Logan is already processing the papers."

Fucking hell!

I had to laugh." Tell her to get a dog,I'm not doing that shit. I don't have 12 hours to take out of my schedule."

Orion ran a hand through his hair." Eren look, this isn't the first time you are being rude to civilians or refusing to do your duty...."

I had to cut him off or I might end up planting a punch on his jaw. " I'm not a fucking cop!" I raised my voice out of spite.

I'm here all because of Javan and it's giving me serious anger issues. The fact that whenever I find him, he slips out of my hold one way or the other was annoying.

He just won't die.

I could not count the amount of times I've put a bullet through his skin but he still won't stay dead.

Orion matched my anger equally. He was just like me ,hotheaded and selfish." You are wearing the uniform so yes you are. Apart from me and Logan, no one else knows why we are here. If you keep this up then people will talk and then they'll start asking questions. I don't want to be here as much as you do so act your part and let's get the fuck out of this country."

He was panting when he finished. I didn't say a word because he was right. I can't afford to blow my cover,it could get the three of us in trouble.

I can't imagine what state security would do if they found out three underground criminals infiltrated the precinct just to get information. Not just criminals, Members of The Zenturio mafia clan.

Yes I'm a Zen and I kill people if they piss me off.

I for one know how we are hated by the cops and it's all because of how Javan painted us.

I took a deep breath." How long am I doing this? "

" Probably a month."

Fuck !

I'll have to see her for 12 hours everyday for a whole month.

" Look at the bright side. You'll get more exposure and you can get on the job without bothering about being watched."

He patted my shoulders and left the office ,leaving the door wide open.

He always does that, fucking bastard.

I leaned in on my chair just as Logan walked in and dropped a file on my desk.

" That's everything you need to know about her and where she lives. Try not to bite her head off,she's a handful." He winked at me and waltzed off.

Just out of pure curiosity ,I picked up the document and flipped through it.

Just as I thought, she was jobless. There was only one record of employment which was three years ago.

How the fuck does she survive if she has no job.

Apart from that ,there was just regular information about her. She's twenty six , single and thick in all places.

She's got more ass than an average lady.

I sighed and shut the document immediately. I should focus on work before sun down.

I haven't even thought about what I would do while I watched over her house for six hours.

Something tells me she wouldn't be asleep while I watched over her.

As long as she doesn't get in my space then I can manage.

At least that's what I told myself but I was wrong.

I should have known.

She's a damn witch , handpick directly from hell by the devil.
