Howard stared deadly at Dorothy and told Michael, "Kill her, and you'll get half of the Sherratt family's assets!"

Michael let out a bitter smile.

Half of the Sherratt family's assets were indeed quite tempting. However, he replied, "Mr. Sherratt, I'm afraid I'd be gone before I could even enjoy it."

Thomas's gaze darkened upon hearing Michael's words.

After a moment of silence, he looked at Dorothy again. "I don't know who you are and why exactly Chief Barnett is so afraid of you. Regardless of how powerful you are, can you compare to the Ministry of Defense?"

"Howard's father is a Senior Colonel of the Ministry of Defense and has made countless contributions to Country Z."

"Do you think you can run away with it if something happens to Howard today?"

"After all, Howard didn't cause any substantial harm to your younger brother. I'll make him apologize to you and make sure that the Sherratt family compensates for it. What do you think?"

Dorothy squinted her eyes at Thomas' words.

She was not scared of the Senior Colonel that Thomas had mentioned. He was just a Senior Colonel who was way lower ranked than her. After all, she was a Senior General!

However, those who could reach such a high position most likely contributed everything they had to Country Z!

Every general or colonel was a hero of the country.

After moments of hesitation, she nodded slightly at Howard, who was as pale as death.

Almost immediately, the two people who were holding Howard down stopped what they were doing and took the needle away.

Howard secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, there was something that the insane woman in front of him was afraid of.

Otherwise, they couldn't be saved no matter how high Nickel Sherratt's title in the Ministry of Defense was.

Before he could even exhale in relief, Dorothy's voice rang again.

"I can spare his life for the sake of his father, but since he had the audacity to threaten me and hurt my people, break both his legs."

Thomas was stunned.

Before he could react, he heard the two holding Howard down answer in sync, "Okay!"

What followed were the sounds of bones breaking. The two of them mercilessly struck Howard with a punch, and the cracking sound of bones shattering echoed through the air.

"Ahhhhh..."

The intense pain instantly woke Howard up, who had been in a daze.

Thomas's fists were clenched tightly. He glared at Dorothy fiercely and said, "How dare you!"

He thought Dorothy would release Howard as promised and apologize after knowing his father's identity.

However, he had never expected such an outcome!

He would have never imagined that she would break Howard's legs!

Meanwhile, Ann, on the other hand, was at her last breath, crying for help, "Help... Help..."

Her hands dropped to the side before she could even finish her sentence.

Howard's fiancée, whom he once treasured and cherished so much, had just passed away.

Dorothy glared at them coldly. "My brother needs to rest. Let's call it a day."

"Although today's matter has come to an end here, that doesn't mean the harm you've caused to my brother can simply be overlooked."

"The Sherratt family better come up with something, be it compensation or an explanation within three days. Otherwise, I don't mind coming to your doorstep in person!"

"Farewell!"

The two people beside Howard picked him up and threw him out of the door as soon as Dorothy said that.

After looking at the expressionless Dorothy and Thomas, who wished nothing more than to tear Dorothy to pieces, Michael carefully helped Thomas out of the blood collection room.

Thomas paused when he walked out.

He turned back to look at Dorothy, his eyes resembling a dark abyss ready to devour someone. "You want an explanation, right? I'll give you that tomorrow at 5 PM at the foot of Mammoth Mountain. I might even prepare a surprise for you by then!"

Dorothy nodded. "Alright!"

"If I'm not satisfied with your words, I'll let you know the price of hurting my brother. I don't care if there's a Senior Colonel in the Sherratt family, I'd do the same even if there were a Field Marshal."

Thomas looked at Dorothy with a sneer in his eyes.

He was gonna teach her the consequences of offending a Senior Colonel of the Ministry of Defense!

By then, he would see how long she could remain arrogant!

As Thomas and the others left, Celestine glanced at the director and the nurse lying on the ground and asked respectfully, "Dorothy, how should we deal with these people?"

Dorothy looked at them and said lightly, "Kill them!"
