Chapter 5 Declaration

Tiana pov

"You are mine" He declared,

The possessiveness I heard from his voice sent shivers down my spine. I quickly left the building on getting outside. I remembered I did not come with my car.

I stamped my feet on the floor, as I became worried about how I would get a cab that would convey me back to my house.

I was about to get one when a car pulled over and it was the Anderson's driver;

"Miss Tiana I was ordered to drop you off at your place" The driver said opening the passage seat for me,

I was thankful to Anderson for sending the driver to me because I did not know when the cab I ordered online would arrive if I had ordered for it.

I thanked the driver, entered the car and he drove the car to my place; I decided to pry at Damon's family.

"Was Damon's grandfather that way from birth or was it something new? I asked hoping to get a good feedback,

"Ma, I a driver and the only thing I knew how to do best was driving" He answered sincerely, while I nodded my head,

"To know more about the Andersons you need to speak to Damon" He added,

Will Damon tell what I really need to hear? Will he focus on seducing as he did earlier? I think it is best I let it be for all I know is fate must happen.

"Ma, We are here" The driver said, waking me up,

Did I fall asleep? Gosh I must have dropped it badly that I had made a bad impression on the driver the first time he drove me home.

I alighted from the car, thanked the driver and headed into my house; I was happy and sad for leaving Damon's place but I was more happy because I am back to my freedom.

I opened the door, hoping to get a bigger son but he was nowhere to be found, at first I thought he was with Charles so I did not bother.

I became worried when evening fell, there was no sign of them; I picked up my phone calling Charles and he only told me he was not back.

My head went berserk thinking of the possible place he could be, I went to the granny and he was not there.

I did not want to accept what my mind was telling but that was the only option left for me; Anderson family! I glanced through my phone then it occurred to me I did not have Damon's number.

I called the chief doctor pleading with him to send the number to me as always he shut me down by cutting the call on my ear.

I put on a top and shorts, and drobe to Anderson's mansion afraid that my son would not be there; I got to the mansion and I saw Ethan sitting comfortably on the dining table with Andersons.

I slowly went to where he was sitting, with his mouth full, I carried him on my body and as I was about to leave the house, the bodyguard blocked my path.

"Dr. Tiana courtesy demand that you obey table manner" Damon's grandfather uttered,

I turned to him, that was when I noticed he was whole as he was fine; I felt like screaming at him and tell him to his face to fuck off but my profession says otherwise.

"sorry about that, Ethan and I would like to return to our home" I uttered respectful with head a little bow,

"Dr. Tiana, it is not a request but an order, sit! He ordered,

I flinched at the sound of his voice, i kept Ethan where he was sitting while I sat closer to him afraid they would take him away from me,

"Why are you overprotective of Ethan? Damon's grandfather asked as he glare at me with his eyes full of question,

I gulped down spit my throat as I thought of many things to say and at the same time hoping that someone would come to my aid.

"Did the cat bite out your tongue that you could no longer talk" He asked again, his voice filled with much authority,

"Because he was the only one I have, the only that give me reasons never to give up" I answered sincerely as I ruffles Ethan's hair,

"You and I had similar stories, and I noticed that Ethan does not eat peanut just like my grandson Ethan" He said as he scope a spoon of food into his mouth,

"I did not know about Damon's allergic" I uttered slowly which made Damon's grandfather raised his eyes at me slightly,

"What about Ethan's father? You know it is not good for a child to have an absent father when his father is still alive and healthy" he let out,

His words made me uncomfortable but I was able to keep my cool as I twitched the hem of my dress under the table.

"Ethan's father travelled for a business trip and would be back very soon" I lied with a calm face,

I could see how disappointed Damon's grandfather was at my statement but what I said was the best for all of us.

"Dr. Tiana, I hope you know exactly what you are doing be very careful so it won't come back biting you" Damon's grandfather warned intensely,

"I am sorry, I did not understand what you were saying. Most importantly, how was your health? I asked changing the topic,

"I see what you are doing, but all thanks to you I am healthy, what would I do without you? He teased which made me laugh,

The room was filled with laughter. I took that as an opportunity to tell him we would find our way to our home and he agreed without an argument.

He called Damon and ordered him to be a man and do the needful; he came closer to Ethan hugging him tightly then I looked at Damon for an explanation.

Damon could not give one instead carried Ethan on his body; grandfather who I told had entered his room suddenly stopped and stared at the three of us.
