Chapter 4 โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Ivory's pov

I slowly opened my eyes, greeted by a sharp, throbbing pain in my head. Confusion washed over me. Where was I? This wasn't my room. It looked far too exquisite. Panic crept in as I tried to piece together memories of the previous night. My head ached harder, and dread started to settle in.

I screamed for help. Minutes stretched to hours, and my throat felt raw-my voice barely a whisper. I collapsed onto the floor, tears streaming down my cheeks. Just when despair threatened to consume me, I heard footsteps echoing in the hallway.

A man stepped in. He had a cold face and an aura that screamed danger. My heart raced as he drew closer, his icy eyes locked onto mine. I instinctively moved back, dread clawing at me.

"Please don't kill me," I whimpered, my voice trembling with fear "I'm sorry if I offended you. Please, forgive me." I kept repeating it, desperate for mercy, my voice trembling through tears.

He stared at me, his face as cold as ice, utterly expressionless. Just then, another man walked in. His eyes widened in shock at the scene before him. "Tristan, what's happening?" he asked. But Tristan didn't respond. Instead, he turned away from me, saying to the man, "Take her to the crypt room until I decide her punishment." Then he was gone.

Punishment? I hadn't done anything wrong. Panic surged through me. I screamed, cried, and begged for someone to help. The other man grabbed my frail body and dragged me along the corridor. My pleas fell on deaf ears.

Finally, we reached a heavy door. He swung it open and tossed me inside like a ragdoll. The sound of the door slamming shut echoed in the dim space, leaving me in fear of what was to come.

The crypt room enveloped me in darkness. Cobwebs clung to every surface like shrouds, hinting that no one had been here in ages. An odd smell hung in the air, something musty and unsettling, sending shivers down my spine.

I pounded on the door, desperation rising within me. "Help! Someone help me!"

Silence answered my cries. Each echoing thud only deepened my dread. Time slipped away as fear tightened its grip around me.

Tears streamed down my face, as I sank to the floor. The pitch-black gloom drew closer. I could feel it creeping in, ready to swallow me whole. Darkness closed in, wrapping me in its cold embrace.

I paced back and forth in my office, my thoughts consumed by that girl. What was it about her? Why did I always have this strange pull whenever she was near? It frustrated me. How could she make me feel this way? How could she stir up feelings I didn't want to have?

Suddenly, The door creaked open. "Tristan, what's happening?" Elijah's voice broke through my thoughts. I didn't respond.

"Why would you lock her in the crypt room? Don't you realize she's just a girl? That place is too dangerous for her ." he pressed.

"Leave her in there until I decide on a punishment. Just keep an eye on her. Nothing must happen to her in that room," I stated firmly.

He looked taken aback, confusion crossing his face. "Tristan, is everything okay?" he asked, concerned.

"Get out of my office now! And do what I said," I snapped.

As he left, I sank back into my thoughts, still grappling with the chaos she brought into my life.

In the dim, eerie crypt room, I drifted into a haunting dream. Suddenly, I found myself trapped in a pitch-black chamber, utterly silent. Out of nowhere, my mother's ghost emerged. Her face was drenched in blood-like tears.

She glided toward me, her presence chilling. Fear gripped me as I moved back, pleading, "Mom, please! Don't hurt me!" But she kept advancing, relentless.

Desperate, I screamed for help, but only my voice echoed in response, echoing like a cruel taunt. I stumbled backward until I could retreat no further. The ghost of my mother closed in, her ghost lunged at me, intent on harming me. In a panic, I jolted awake, my heart racing, my entire body drenched in sweat and my face wet with tears.

But the terror wasn't over. I opened my eyes, only to find a grinning skeleton staring back at me from the shadows, and I screamed once more, only to be swallowed by darkness again.
