Chapter 5 FIVE.

"I said I want you to stay away from Aiden, I don't want to see you talking to him, don't even look at him, don't get into his car and starting today, you'll have a driver, he will pick you up in mornings and drop you off in the evenings, I don't want you anywhere near Aiden again, Little Parrot."

Ava blinked, staring at him in shock, He wants to hire a driver for her? All because he didn't want her near his brother?She was confused about what made him want her to stay away from his brother but she nodded anyway because she wasn't even comfortable around his brother, It was nice of him to drop her off but there was just something about him that made her feel weird, He reminds her of Ryan.

"Good, I don't want you close to him." Silas repeated with an unreadable expression and she nodded again, still standing.

"But why don't you want me to talk to him?"She asked, still confused but he didn't respond, He couldn't respond because he himself dosen't know why those words came out his mouth but all he knew was that he didn't want her close to him at all, It made his blood boil, He just didn't want to see them together.

"And I don't want you to hire a driver for me, I'll take the night buses when heading home so there'll be no need for any driver, Thank you."Ava spoke up again when he didn't respond to her last question and his frown deepened at her words.

"That stops today, You're not taking night buses anymore, Little Parrot. You work for me and that means you follow my instructions without questioning them, Rule number one stay away from Aiden, I'm not asking, little parrot, I'm telling you and don't ask for the reasons."

Ava was just staring at him without knowing how to respond to his words and his actions were confusing her and she frowned again at the weird nickname.

"Stop calling me a little Parrot, I'm not a kid."She muttered, still frowning.

"I don't care, You're a little girl and you talk too much, Just like a parrot." He responded, surprised at himself for even talking to her that much and he'd been talking too much since she came.

"I'm not little!And you're an old man." She retorted, folding her arms and almost glaring at him, She didn't even mean to say that but it just came out again and he glared at which made her flinch, knowing he was furious at her again.

"I'll be thirty this year and that dosen't mean that I'm an old man."

Thirty? Ava blinked in shock, That was way older than she expected, She quickly started counting with her fingers, muttering the numbers under her breath and Silas was just staring at her with a blank expression.

"You're even older than I thought, That's... That's like a twelve-year age gap."She blurted out with a gasp and still counting her fingers.

"And why the hell are you calculating that?"

Ava stopped counting her fingers and she looked up with her cheeks flushed knowing what he meant,she should'nt be calculating their age gap because he might get the wrong idea that she was interested in him or something and she didn't even know what got into her that made her start counting her fingers when he told her his age.

"U-Uhm, Have you had breakfast?"She asked,diveting the topic cause she was still embarrassed and he shook his head.

"Oh,What would you like to eat then?"

"Nothing."He responded, closing the files so she wouldn't see them and she frowned again.

"But you have to eat sir, You need to take your medications. I'll be back." Ava rushed out of the room to go get him breakfast and Silas returned back to the files containing her background check and there were a few photos in it too.

He took one out and it was her, she was wearing an outfit that couldn't even be called cloths cause she was almost naked, The top she was on was small, more like a bra, black and shiny with her bóóbs almost popping out and her stomach was bare then what shocked him more was the thong she was wearing with an outfit that looked like a net under it but it wasn't covering her body, Her àss was completely visible and the front was not too revealing but it still shocked him.

She had high heels on with her short legs that were somewhat long in the photo there were dollars on the floor while she was on the pole with her legs around it and her face was with makeup but he could see that she didn't want to be there, No sign of happiness and she wasn't smiling, It seemed like she was forced to do that but still.... Silas was shocked.

What the hell? She looked so innocent when he first met her but she was a stripper? No she was once a stripper, Does she sleep with men for money?He didn't know what he was feeling. Anger? Confusion? He shook his head at that thought and took the second photo.

It was her and her Boyfriend, He continued staring at it while frowning then he dropped it and took another photo.

A beautiful baby, Ava was holding her in her arms while smiling so wide and Silas swallowed hard while staring at it, He recalled when Melanie told him two days before his accident that she was pregnant, He still remembered the way she looked when she said looking a little nervous but mostly happy and him... he was over the moon. He'd never wanted anything more than to become a father but the accident happened.

He woke up from the coma and his mother told him Melanie had lost the child from the shock after hearing about his condition, That he might not survive so she couldn't bear it and they lost their unborn child.

Silas closed his eyes and dropped the photo immediately cause his heart was starting to hurt again and his eyes opened when his door opened again and Ava stepped in looking so nervous while she held Liana in her arms and a maid was behind her with Silas's breakfast.

"Sir, I'm sorry for bringing her in,She wouldn't stop crying and... and my best friend is a little busy right now, so I didn't have a choice, I'll feed you quickly and step out with..."

"Feed me?"Silas frowned.

Ava swallowed, nodding quickly. "Y-Your mother asked me to... she said I should make sure you eat..."She stopped talking when she noticed that he was staring at her and Liana which made her feel uncomfortable thinking he was judging her or something.

"I-I can go outside if you'd prefer that and ask her to assign a maid to feed you instead."

"No, Just put her down on the couch."

"O-Okay, thank you sir."She replied softly and went to the couch then she placed Liana down carefully and bent to kiss her forehead and turned back towards Silas.

"Uh it's omelette and toast, I told the maid to add fruits too."Ava said as she sat in front of him then she picked up the fork using it to take a piece of omelette and moved closer to him then fed it to him when he opened his mouth.

"What's her name?"Silas asked after chewing and she blinked confusely until she understood when he glanced at Liana that was still on the couch.

"Liana...Liana Grace."Ava replied with a small smile and he nodded without speaking again.

CAFÉ>>>

Roman pulled up in front of the café where Seraphina had asked him to stop but she was still sitting in the back seat without going out and her eyes burning holes into the back of his head cause she was glaring at him, He glanced at her through the rearview mirror with a frown, wondering why she was still sitting there.

"We're here, Are you getting out or should I keep driving you around in circles till you decide to come out."He said, tapping the steering wheel while staring at her blankly.

"Do I have to remind you what your fûcking job is? Get your filthy ass out and open the door for me."Seraphina hissed, with her voice loud like she was screaming at him.

Roman continued staring at her blankly.

"I drive, I'm not your maid, Your hands work just fine, Princess. If you want the door open so badly, open it yourself."

"If I get out of this car by myself, I swear on everything I own, I will run you over with it. No one will question me when I say why I did it, Don't try me."She threatened while staring at him with her face looking dangerous but still Roman didn't move, He even pulled out his phone and started scrolling, ignoring her words.

Seraphina's blood was boiling in anger and she opened the car with so much force and stepped out burning with anger but her heel twisted and her ankle bent to the left side then she fell hand on the floor and one of her designer heels broke into two which got her more mad cause those heels were expensive as hell.

The pain she felt in her leg was like fire but not a single tear dropped out of her eyes, the last time she cried was when Silas got into an accident which was three years ago and she haven't shed a single tear ever since then, she was saving it up for Aiden's funeral.

Roman jumped out of the car, rushing over to her with a frown and all the guards from the car behind followed looking concerned but when Roman was about to speak, Seraphina took the second heel and threw it with so much force straight to his eyes.

"Fûck! Are you insane?!"Roman shouted at her while covering his left eye that was burning in pain, he was seeing blank with that eye and it was hurting as hell but he heard no response.

The guards helped Seraphina into the car and she screamed at them to let her drive then when one protested against it since she was hurt, she hit him with the second broken heel then she started driving, she drove fast to Roman, attempting to break his legs or kill him but he saw the car running towards him with his one eye and he ran towards the left direction looking so shocked.

Fûçk! That woman was mad! She tried to kill him!

Seraphina flipped her middle finger at him and drove off in full speed that all the people ran to another direction to avoid being killed and Roman was still standing in front of the cafe with his mouth still opened in shock while blinking to clear the blindness.

VANES GRAND LIVING ROOM>>>

Blake was chilling on the couch in the living room with his legs wide while he was pressing his phone with his headphones on and Travis Scott song was banging in his ears.

As Aiden's best friend, He comes and goes as he pleased, Stayed over when ever he wanted, He could even crash for one week straight without going back to his house and no one even protests against it cause he was like family to them and Mrs Vanes like Blake more than her own son, He was everything Aiden wasn't - Respectful, Sensible, Smart, Plans well for his life but that Aiden is all about women and doing bad things.

Blake and Aiden were best friends but total opposites, Aiden was always fûçking, Always does shit that made people afraid of him, arrogant as fûçk, cruel more than his own family thinks,Killing people dosen't faze him, Hurting people was his second nature and he was the devil in disguise.

Blake he was arrogant too, He fûçks girls too but not much as Aiden, He's cold-hearted but not as much as Aiden, He wasn't a saint but he wasn't a monster either, He'd never hurt anyone, He snubs as hell, Rich as fûçk, An artist with his own brand, his own gallery and his own money, he built his own just like Seraphina and that was the reason both of them were somehow close too but she keeps her distance from him cause getting close to guys weren't her thing so she doesn't talk to him much but he chats her up sometimes.

Lila, Ava's best friend was walking on her own holding a laundry basket in her hands that was full with clean towels and some clothes she had just ironed and her messy bun was barely holding her hair up with strands of her hair sticking to her sweaty face and there was dusts on her cheeks.

She didn't notice Blake at first but when she saw him, she frowned and was about to continue walking but he looked up from his phone and used his fingers, signalling her to come to him but she was still standing there with a blank expression.

"Look Blake, I'm not in the mood for your nonsense right now, What do you want?"She mumbled, watching him remove one side of his head phones from his ear and he looked at her again.

"Glass of water."He spoke up, looking down at his phone that was connected to a large power bank and she rolled her eyes.

"I'm busy, Ask another maid to get it for you."She hissed and was about to walk out but he stopped her with his words.

"Aren't you a maid? Walk out on me and I'll make sure you get fired."

Lila turned around, glaring at him but he was looking at his phone again, She huffed under her breath then she stormed to the kitchen and came back with the glass of water that was full then she slammed it hard on the table that some of it splashed to his face.

Blake looked up, burning with anger then he grabbed her wrist with so much force that made her wince and took the glass of water, pouring it on her and she shut her eyes tight as the water dripped from her head to her face then she took his phone and smashed it hard on the floor, staring at him hatefully then she walked out after grabbing the basket of clothes.

Lila hated Blake ever since that night he fûçkéd her when he was drunk, she let him do it to her cause she had a crush on him that time and he did it with her the whole night, He fûçkèd her so good, Made her feel and think that he liked her too with his words that night but he said some things the next morning that hurt her so much, He made her feel cheap so ever since then, Both of them have been hating on eachother, It has been war between them and no one even knew about it.

Blake picked up his phone, expecting it to be dead, to go blank so he'd teach her a lesson she'd never forget and make her pay for the damages but the phone was still normal, No crack on the screen too and he stared at it for a second before tucking it into his pocket and was about to sit down but the main golden doors opened, guards rushed in and his eyes widened when he saw Seraphina limping into the living room.

"Phee Phee, What happened?"Blake rushed to her looking so concerned and she sighed when she heard that weird nickname, He'd been calling her that ever since they were kids and it was beginning to irritate her.

"I thought you died."

He chuckled.

"Still alive sweetheart, Just been busy. I was here last night but couldn't find you so I left but I'm here now, How did you get hurt?."He asked, staring at her left ankle that was bandaged.

"Hired a new assistant, Told him to get out and open the door for me so I could go get my hot choco from that my favourite càfe but àsshôlé refused, I got pissed, came down to drag him out of my car and run him over with the car but I ended up falling and twisted my ankle."

"Damn, You were gonna run him over?"Blake laughed and she glared at him which made him swallow back his laugh to avoid getting her furious then he looked back at her leg then his expression softened.

"Those stupid tall heels, Phee Phee. Been telling you to stop wearing them but you don't listen, You okay though?"

"I don't care, I love my heels and I'm fine, it's all because of that imbecile that made me fall but trust me, I almost blinded him, Made sure my heels went straight to his face then I almost ran him over....."

"What?"Blake blinked.

"I missed, He escaped but the fear in his eyes was worth it."Seraphina replied almost smirking when she recalled the look on Roman's face that made her feel so good knowing he was scared when she did that.

"You're insane."He laughed, then he stood up and carried in a bridal style and she screamed in shock.

"What the fûçk do you think you're doing?"

"Carrying you to your room, You're hurt and Silas would kill me if I let you walk knowing you're hurt."

"Ughhh! Fucking hate when both of you treat me like a kid."Seraphina grumbled, wrapping her arms around his neck with a frown and he laughed without responding but his heart was beating so fast against his chest.

Lila came out of her hiding spot cause she had been listening to them, she bit her lip hard feeling like her heart had been stabbed when Seraphina pulled his cheeks hard while he carried her and he was laughing like she said something funny to him, she shook her head and continued what she was doing.

ROMAN'S RESIDENCE>>>

Roman walked into his apartment using his spare keys with his one eye still burning as hell, It was red, swollen and watering like crazy, All thanks to that Seraphina.

He still couldn't believe that she almost killed him, she almost blinded him, she even had the audacity to leave him at the side of the road and left him there after almost killing him and there was no way in hell he was going back to work for her.

That bïtch fûçking needs a therapist, First she threw her heel to his eyes that was burning right now and she would've run him over with her stupid car and if he hadn't jumped to the side fast enough, he'd probably be in the hospital or six feet under the ground.

He was done,Done with that stupidass job. What the hell was he even thinking when he agreed to it? All because he needed money for Poppy so she wouldn't dump him like she'd been threatening to and he'd do anything for her, anything to keep her happy.

She was already complaining about him being broke so he thought maybe working for that coldhearted psycho would help but it would never work cause she was not normal at all, she was hot, really hot but that woman was insane and poppy was even more hotter than her, she might not be always supportive but her love was enough for him.

"Baby, what happened to your eye?It's red and swollen"Poppy went to him and she touched the swollen area around his eye that was so red.

Roman's arms instinctively wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer. She didn't pull away, which got him surprised but he was so happy about it, she was acting different.

"My boss, The one I told you about, she's insane as hell, she threw her damn heel at my face and almost ran me over with her car."He muttered and winced when she touched the area that was hurting in most and poppy looked so mad when she heard his words.

"What? That bîtch! I swear, I'm gonna fûcking kill her! Who the hell does she think she is? Just because she's rich? To hell with her money. How dare she do that to you?"

Roman gave her a small, tired smile and his brushed a strand of hair from her beautiful face.

"Calm down, Poppy. It's fine, I'm done working for her so just forgot about it."

"That's better." Poppy pecked him and he got more surprised cause he was expecting her to get mad that he quit but she seemed alright it.

"You seem happy. What's going on?" He smiled while staring at her and she shrugged, blushing too.

"Nothing, I miss you. I'm sorry for how I've been acting. It won't happen again, I promise."

"I love you so damn much."He murmured,deepening the kiss, pulling her closer and she moaned into the kiss, running her hands in the curls of his dark hair.

"I love you too."She kissed him more harder and within seconds she was naked and he was fûçkîñg her hard against the wall.

VANES VILLA ESTATE, ROSÈ HILL>>>

Ava was ready to leave, It was late and she just wanted to get home, Liana had been crying all day and Ava knew it was because she was hungry, breast milk wasn't enough to fill her up and she still haven't bought her formula, she hadn't even eaten much all day so her entire body felt strained and her brèàsts weren't producing much milk cause she haven't been eating much for about a week now and Ryan still doesn't even care.

Liana's cries wouldn't stop, Seraphina even shouted at her to leave that her child was disturbing so she decided to leave after helping Silas with all what he needed including bathing him then he told her that the driver would be waiting outside to take her home and he even instructed her again that she shouldn't get into his brother's car again.

Ava stepped outside and she almost flinched when she saw Aiden stepping out of the car with a woman who was practically half-dressed, She wanted to turn around and rush back inside, remembering Silas's orders to avoid him but it was too late cause he had already seen her and he rushed to her with his girlfriend Mirabel glaring at Ava from behind.

"Ava, heading home already?"Aiden stopped in front of her, glancing at her baby that was still crying and she nodded.

"Y-Yes, sir but there's no need to drop me off, Thank you, sir. Goodnight!" Ava stammered, quickly rushing into the waiting car that was set to take her home from Silas and Aiden frowned knowing Silas must have said something to her that made her rush like that and he even hired a new chauffeur for her.

Aiden rushed into the mansion and Mirabel rushed behind him with her heels clicking and her àss bouncing against her skirt, Seraphina saw them walking in and she took the glass of wine she was drinking and threw it down from her wing that it almost hit his ugly girlfriend's plastic face and she ran to go meet Aiden with her eyes wide in shock.

Seraphina almost laughed and she ordered a maid to get another glass for her since that one broke to pieces.

RYAN'S APARTMENT>>>

Thunder clapped so loud up in the sky indicating that it was about to rain soon but it hadn't started falling.

Ava got out of the car and thanked the the chauffeur with a smile but her heart was racing while she headed towards the door knowing what she asks for money from Ryan about Liana's baby formula, He might get mad but he was her father too, It shouldn't always be on her, She was tired, So tired. She felt like she could pass out if someone pushes her cuz there was strength left in her body at all.

She got closer to the door and she heard loud music coming from inside the apartment, She blinked and went to open the door since it wasn't locked and was shocked at what she saw.

Ryan was on the couch, kissing a girl and another girl had her hand on his crotch, rubbing him through his jeans and his friends were there too, with more girls, drinking and laughing.

Glasses were everywhere, Some were making out, Others were shouting over the music then all eyes went to her when she stepped in but her eyes were only on Ryan, She didn't even know what she was feeling but she felt sol hurt.

He wouldn't give her money for Liana's food but he had money for all this nonsense?

"Ryan, can I talk to you? In private?" She asked softly, avoiding everyone's eyes and one of his friends lowered the sound of music to listen to what she wanted to say to Ryan which got her more uncomfortable.

"No, Whatever crap you have to say, say it here"Ryan replied while the girls continued kissing him and the other one was sucking his neck, still touching his dîçk from his jeans.

"B-But..."

"Say it or get the fuck out of my face!" He yelled which made her flinch and even Liana started crying in her arms again cause of his loud voice scared her.

"I-It's about Liana."She stammered, looking around again. "I need money for her formula. I swear, I'd buy it myself if I had the money but I don't... Please, Ryan..."

"I don't have money for you, Ava. You work, right? Go ask your boss or something, I don't have shit to give you."

"I'm begging you, she won't stop crying and...."

He interrupted her words again.

"Don't you have breast milk? Huh? Can't you give her that?"

"I..I can't, It barely comes out and it's not enough, I haven't been eating well"She answered, lowering her gaze and her head lifted up when she heard laughs from what she said which got her eyes filled with tears but she stepped closer to Ryan.

"Please, Ryan. Just this once, I'll pay you back when I get paid from my work, She's your daughter too, I don't want anything bad to happen to her, she's so hungry, p-please i'll even get on my knees if I have to, I just need a little money, please..."

"I said I don't have money to give you" He said to her again which got her pissed, she didn't even know what got into her when she kicked the table that had about ten bottles of drink on it and it all crashed to the floor, shattering into pieces.

"But you have money for drinks and girls! You have money for all this nonsense and your friends but you don't have money to feed your own daughter, You're so heartless! I hate you, Ryan. I swear, I wouldn't call you the biggest mistake of my life, because you gave me Liana but I still hate you! I hate you for doing this to me, Burn in hell! This is the last time you'll ever see me!"She shouted at him and turned to leave with hot tears running down her cheeks but Ryan grabbed her arm then he punched her hard.

Blood came from her mouth, she fell on the floor with head slamming down hard on the floor and body hit the floor blood rushed out from her scalp with Liana still in her arms then Ava fell unconscious while Liana was crying.
