Chapter 2 You have a beautiful eyes

David pov

we were on our way to have lunch when I got a call from dad telling me to come over to his side, it's been long since I got a call so I wondered what could be so urgent for him to want to see me. I excused myself from my friends and hurriedly went to meet him. on my way entering the big mansion that has been built for generations I met with Isabelle who ran to hug me. Isabelle has been my childhood friends for decades now we've been together from small and looking at her now I realized how she has grown into a beautiful woman with her long brown hair and her blue eyes which seems to carry a lot of emotions she takes after her mom ella who has been a family friend of mine for long.

" how have you been doing?" I asked her and she answered

"you left without telling me how is that fair we were supposed to tell each other everything" she said putting on an annoyed face. Here comes Isabelle again always not satisfied with every answer I give her " I told you I had to go because it's important for me am sorry I should have told you" I said hoping she would accept my apology this time around. she looked at me for a while before saying

"go your dad is waiting for you"she said

"does this mean you have finally forgive me"I said this time with a pleading face

" yes now go before I change my mind" she said

"yes ma'am" I said she chuckled at my response. I rushed inside just to find dad pacing around which is unlikely of him.

"dad am here" I said getting his attention he doesn't call me unless if he wants to send me an errand or something sort of to be precise we don't get along too well it's like he sees me as someone who is incapable, incapable of taking up the throne after him I know he has other sons and I also know that I can't please him no matter what I do.

" you are finally here" he said acknowledging my presence "sit" he ordered

"am not going to sit anywhere until you tell me what is happening" I said knowing it is going to get him angry.

"The boundary between our supernatural and the human world is being cracked I think something is wrong " he said with a bit of worry "but there has been nothing wrong with it all this years so why now and why am I the one you call to tell" as far as I can remember the last time something like this happened was a long time ago it created a lot of trouble one of the reasons I lost my mom to the war, a war I can never forget he was betrayed by Thomas his best friend someone who destroyed the harmony between the humans and the supernatural world and which of course caused a lot of lives, he wanted to be the ruler of the supernatural world so with the help of the dark witches he was able to gain a lot of power he took the souls of many of the humans and filled them with dark power to also fight the war so he would be able to bring down this man but with the help of his army and knights he was able to defeat him and with the help of Tamara the white witch who is on his side he was able to seal him in the underground, get rid of the dark witches and fix back the boundary which he broke. Looking at the man who has been my dad for years but has never acknowledge me as his son I wondered why he has called me all of a sudden

"what do you want me to do?"I asked him

"I fear the dark days is coming as prophesied by Tamara and you need to find the girl with the strand of silver hair and it's time to prove your worth son if you can help me with this and are lucky then maybe you will have a chance to the throne " he said trying to sound reasonable

" I don't care about your throne anymore so u can count me out of this" I said as I turned to leave

" you won't leave this place unless you do what I say" he said using a harsh tone

"And why would I " I said questioning him

" because it's not a request but a command" he said with authority "look I know you still grief over your mom's death but you can't continue to do this anymore David you need to grow up you are no longer a child and you have responsibilities now" he said yes he is right but that doesn't mean he can control me the way he wants to and also he also caused my mom's death

" you know what maybe it was your fault mom died if you haven't trusted the wrong maybe she will still be alive" I said spilling out everything with both anger and bitterness this time I knew have hit the limit

"and what right do you have to accuse me of such" he bellowed in anger and told the guards to keep me in a dark room where prisoners are kept. This isn't the first time have been locked in a place like this. Pounding the iron gate with my wrist I groaned in frustration as I remembered the pain have kept deep inside my heart. My dad is a vampire but my mom is human which makes me half warm blooded and half cold blooded.

*Flashback*

"Make sure you hide and don't come out no matter what mama will come back for you okay" a young woman who is in distress Is seen trying to protect her child from getting hurt. This young boy knew something was wrong and was too scared to leave his mama "will you come back?" He asked "yes I will" she said reassuring the young boy who seems scared. Then she hugged him and kept him in a secret place only her and her husband knows before leaving him and that was the last day he saw his mama. His mama was the only person who has loved and cared for him and losing her really hurts him.

For those Wondering what st Patrick's school is like, the school has been built for years under the name of David dad Patrick the school was built to bridge the gap between the human and the supernatural world since after the last war the school was created to bring peace between the two worlds.

JASON POV;

I decided to go to school restaurant today it's been long since I last went there Damon and Skyler were shocked and decided to leave me to my choice not only when Skyler said " good luck lover boy" I tried to protest but the truth is that I want to see the beauty who caught my eye today. Entering the restaurant as usual caught a lot of attention not like I like it but can it be helped seeing a guy who is as handsome as me. I spotted her afar across where I was .

"hello can I join you for lunch" I could see the surprise etched on her beautiful face. "am Jason " I offered introducing my self.

she was reluctant at first "Am Rose and thanks for the other time" she said. wow I love her voice.

"perhaps you can buy me lunch someday to show your appreciation" I said as I winked at her. she looked at me like have said the funniest word

"well____" she tried responding

"yes yes" her friend replied for her. "you don't have to reply for me Stella I have mouth" she said to the red haired girl beside her making her shut up before facing her attention towards me

"well am not sure about the lunch Jason but I will think about that for now you are free to have lunch with us anytime you want" she said

"really I can come here any time to have lunch with you?" I said wanting to be sure to which she replied yes "you have a beautiful eyes " I said which caught her in surprise she chocked on the drink she was sipping "sorry what?" she asked

"bye see you tomorrow Rose" I winked at her seeing her innocent reaction.
