Lewis's Sister

Lottie's POV

After I finished my sentence, full of anticipation, Alfie looked at me with a strange look. I couldn't tell if he agreed or refused.

I quickly thought about the situation. He's 32, and I'm 18. He has no position in the Oceans Howl Pack, while I am the Alpha's daughter.

I haven't heard Lewis mention any other jobs he has, so he probably only works as a teacher for Lewis. His salary is definitely not as much as my savings.

So, if I marry him, it's entirely to his advantage. "What do you think?"

His gaze moved from my face to the tree blocking his car.

"I asked you to answer me. Why are you looking at the tree? The tree won't give you any advice."

His expression stiffened for a moment, but he quickly returned to normal. "What I mean is, you move this tree out of the way first."

"Oh, I see." I smiled broadly to cover my embarrassment.

I walked to the fallen tree and dragged it to the side of the road with one hand.

Just as I finished moving the tree and turned around to continue asking him, Alfie spoke in a monotone voice that reached my ears.

"I refuse."

At the same time, the engine roared to life. Before I could react, the black car disappeared from my sight.

"Alfie! You cunning old man!" I stamped my foot in anger. "Hmph, even if you don't help me, I can still get revenge!"

When I returned to the Silver Moon Pack, I went straight to the training room that the large warrior, Joseph, often used. Sure enough, Joseph was still training. We grew up together, and he is the most outstanding warrior among the young generation of the Silver Moon Pack, so he is very popular within the pack and even among she-wolves from other packs.

"Hey, Lottie!" Joseph saw me and greeted me happily.

His opponent thought he was distracted and immediately seized the opportunity to attack him. Just as his opponent's fist was about to hit his face, Joseph gripped his opponent's wrist tightly with his right hand. Then he grabbed his opponent's waist with his other hand, lifted him up effortlessly, and threw him out of bounds.

I couldn't help but applaud him.

Every time I see him, my competitive streak gets worse. I believe that after I transform, I will definitely be able to defeat him and become the strongest!

"It's been a long time since you came to the training ground." Joseph walked over to me with an excited look in his eyes, but then remembered something and looked a little disappointed. "You're not still mad at me, are you?"

I almost forgot that I was still angry with him. Half a month ago, we had a fierce argument because of Lewis again. As a result, I refused to communicate with him.

Joseph has never liked Lewis, and he has advised me many times that he was not to be trusted. But because I was in love, I didn't pay attention to what he said, and Lewis even caused us to argue a few times.

"Wanna train?" I took off my obstructive jacket. Hearing my words, he showed his white teeth. "Lottie, I train every day. You definitely can't beat me now!"

I stood facing Joseph again after a long time. Because Lewis doesn't like me spending too much time on the training ground, I rarely come here during our one year of dating.

Joseph launched an attack first, and I dodged his heavy punch by turning sideways. I knew he was testing me with this punch.

"Your punches are faster than before." I almost didn't dodge it in time.

"But your reaction speed is a bit slower than before." He attacked me again under my ribcage after speaking.

I crossed my arms to block his attack, then swept my right elbow towards his side.

He quickly dove and, at the same time, kicked his right leg towards my stomach. I immediately tightened every muscle in my body, grabbed his right leg while resisting, and pulled forward with force.

He used the power of his waist and abdomen to roll over directly, aiming his left foot at my head. I immediately let go and blocked his attack with my left arm, but I was still pushed back two steps by the huge impact. My half-arm was numb from the shock.

He didn't give me a chance to catch my breath and quickly attacked my face.

I turned counterclockwise to avoid it dangerously and used the inertia to hit his back hard with my left elbow.

Joseph turned his head to look at my face and instantly showed a somewhat aggrieved expression because of the pain.

Before I could feel proud, he grabbed my right leg in a side bend, and the next second I felt myself flying in the air. He tried to throw me to the ground, but I immediately reached out and hugged his waist. In the end, we both fell heavily to the ground.

The training room's floor was covered with thick foam pads and did not cause any harm to us. But because of the adrenaline, I began to cry softly and uncontrollably.

Joseph hurriedly helped me up from the ground.

"Lot, where are you injured?"

Looking at his anxious and worried expression, I couldn't hold back anymore.

After shaking my head, I cried loudly in front of him like a child.

He suddenly turned around and punched the wall hard.

The wall instantly cracked open a few cracks.

"Did that bastard Lewis make you sad?" His expression at this moment became extremely scary- a look I had never seen before. I was stunned for a moment.

He grabbed my shoulder and said very seriously, "I will definitely help you kill him!"

I had no doubt about the truthfulness of his words, so I immediately stopped him.

"No, Joseph. I just miss my mom."

This reason completely convinced him, and he touched my head. "I believe Luna would be very pleased to see you and Winnie grow up well."

After returning to my room and washing up, I lay on the bed, thinking about revenge plans. My phone next to my pillow rang.

I picked it up and saw it was Lewis, so I hung up without paying attention.

After a while, my phone received two messages. The first one was a picture of a pink gemstone necklace. The second message was only a few short words: Is it pretty?

Jennifer was the one who sent both messages. She is Lewis's sister, and whenever she texts me jewelry or anything really, she wants me to buy it for her.

Jennifer never really liked me, but she loves my money.

After being an ATM for so long, I have to collect some interest.

Her birthday is coming up soon, and presumably she and Lewis's friends and relatives will all be there.

I had to find someone to help me get revenge before her birthday!
