Returning home, Kira was nowhere to be found. She took all her things with her, leaving only a note saying she had found a new job and not to worry.

Scarlet tried calling her, but no one answered.

Throwing the note into the trash, Scarlet sighed, and got up to prepare to shower, when suddenly a file fell out of her bag.

As she picked it up and looked at it, her mind buzzed.

It was that proposal.

Luca repeatedly reminded her to work overtime tonight and rush it to Spencer, who was flying out for a last-minute business trip tomorrow.

Scarlet quickly called Spencer's assistant on her phone, briefly explained the situation, and after a long silence on the other end, was given the name of a restaurant.

"You bring it now; Mr. Jones is in dining room 888."

A taxi quickly arrived at the residential area where Scarlet lived, she got in and after about ten minutes, the car pulled into the parking lot in front of the Green Grid Western Restaurant. Scarlet quickly exited the car, carrying the proposal, and walked briskly into the restaurant.

When Scarlet was about to ask someone a question, her shoulder was touched by someone.

She turned around and met a man with a face full of muscles, a tall figure, and a strong smell of alcohol staggering in front of her. "Beauty, all alone? Come, brother will take you out to see the world."

He reached out to grab Scarlet's hand.

Scarlet quickly avoided his touch like a startled bird.

"Where are you running to? Out alone dressed like this late at night, aren't you just out to sell yourself? How much money, brother can afford it, as long as you keep me happy..."

He reached out towards Scarlet's full chest.

When Scarlet was at work, she always wore professional attire. With a well-rounded figure, the simple and serious outfit she wore was indeed alluring, with the short skirt perfectly outlining her shape, enough to ignite desire in men's eyes.

"Get lost!" Scarlet slapped the man's round face backhandedly, then kicked him. This angered him, and he grabbed her hair, uttering filthy words.

Just as Scarlet was about to resist, there were screams of desperation, the man's hand weakened, and his bloated body deflated like a balloon, flying far away.

Spencer's voice suddenly appeared from above, pulling Scarlet behind him in a protective posture, his brows furrowed. The handcrafted premium leather shoes mercilessly crushed the man's hand with great force, causing him to cry out in pain.

"Jones, Mr. Jones? It's a misunderstanding, a big misunderstanding. Please let me go, it's me! Julian West from Estabright. Didn't we agree on making a deal?"

Spencer said coldly with a disdainful face, "Mr. West? Our deal is canceled."

"Why? Just because of her? Mr. Jones, she's just a woman, no need to ruin our relationship for a woman. If you like her, I won't touch her. I can provide you with someone more beautiful than her, whatever you want."

Hearing this, Spencer's face became even more unpleasant. "An enterprise that thinks with the lower half of their body, I find it hard to believe that there's any future in cooperating with you."
