Tristan couldn't believe his eyes the same lady he met at the hospital is the lady bearing the moon shape mark he has been searching for.
"Sit," he said.
She didn't move.
"Sit down," he shouted his voice resounding.
She sat. "What is it you want?" She asked, her voice soft
He leaned forward sizing her up with his eyes. "Who are you?"
"Selene Damian," she said in a hurry.
His eyes flip towards her shoulder. "Where did you get that mark?"
"I was born with it. It means nothing."
"To you it's nothing," he whispered. "But to me it means everything."
She narrowed her eyes "If it's about what happened last time I'm really sorry Ok i wasn't myself." She told him her voice soft.
Tristan stood. Her breath caught. He is tall, intimidating, his gaze was vicious. He paced around her like a tiger. He suddenly stopped pacing.
Selene became scared "Ok fine If it's about the surrogate thing I'm happy to change my mind I want out."
The door clicked open.
Landon came in. Went straight to Tristan, he whispered something to him. His angry face became soft.
Landon stepped away.
Tristan gave Selene a soft stare. "You are not here to carry my child."
"Ok... ok then why am I here? Why was I kidnapped?" her voice cracked.
"You are mine."
Selene stood up.her fist clenched. "I'm not yours, or anyone's property."
"You are his fated mate," Landon told her.
She let out a sharp laugh. "Right this feels like a drama but it's not funny."
Tristan went close to her. Sniffed her. "How is this possible? You are human," he whispered his eyes widened.
"Yes I am human not an animal," she fired back.
"That is not possible," Landon said, walking towards Selene and sniffing her.
"She is not my Luna! she is not even a wolf." Tristan seethed. Anger in his voice.
"Wolf?" Selene snapped. "You are werewolves?" She moved back. Her body trembled. Fear of the unknown hit her spirit. "I think you are in search of someone else , definitely not me, I'm nobody. Please let me go," She begged.
"This can not be a coincidence," Tristan grabbed the tablet beside him, flipped it around. It shows different scans of her pulse spikes, her hormone levels, even aura readings. "You are not human."
Selene froze. "What?"
"Not fully. That mark on your body? Only my fated Luna has it."
She shook her head "No.my parents... "
"Are not your biological parents," Landon cut her off.
"Enough!" Selene snapped. Her heart was beating fast. She could feel her blood racing. "I am human. I don't know you people so please let me go."
Silence fills the room for a minute.
Tristan stepped closer to her. "I know you have felt it before, the power that runs through your veins," he said, "and that is you being my Luna."
Her voice cracked. "That sounds weird, and no one will believe such madness."
Tristan moved closer, leaving one inch space between them. " It's not madness. Rather it's called wolf magic. Luna blood. You are not weak, Selene. You are the most powerful female of your bloodline. And the moon goddess chose you for me."
Her eyes locked on his. she felt the warmth of his body. Her breath hitch for a moment she didn't want to believe him she couldn't.
"If you think I'm going to fall into your arms because you have dreams of making me your so-called Luna then think again," she snapped.
"You will come around," Tristan said. "They always do."
"That means you picked the wrong girl," she fired back.
She walked towards the door, and tried to open it, but did not open.
Tristan smirked icily. "You can not leave," he said, without looking at her. "Not until I say you can."
Selene grinned. "Then watch me." She raised her hand to hit the control panel. Her palm sparkled. Blue light like electricity came out of her palm.
Tristan turned slowly. Eyes glowing. "Like I said, you are not human."
Outside the room...
Emery, a wolf , watched the whole scene through the security feed. Her eyes wide open, her mouth widened.
"She has no idea who she is," Emery whispered.
Behind her was the shadow of another female.
"Then we make sure she never finds out," a familiar jealous voice said.
Back in the room...
Selene moved back from the door, her eyes locked on her trembling hand. The sparks are still flipping around her fingers, then it fades.
"What the hell just happened?" She whispered.
"Your power," Tristan said calmly. "The wolf inside you is waking up."
She shook her head. "No I'm not like you. I'm human I bleed I cry, I... "
She froze.
"I heard you slowed your mother's illness down for years using your power without knowing."
"That's not possible how did you know that?" Her voice soft.
"I'm getting more interested in you, I'm getting to know much about you," Tristan said. " I spent five years looking for you."
" that can not be true," she said.
Tristan slowly walked towards her, closing the space between them. The heat of his body, the pure gravity of him made her head spin.
"No?" He whispered. "Then why does your pulse raise when I touch you?"
He moves his knuckle slowly ,brushing her cheek.
"Don't," she said softly. But her voice betrayed her.
"You feel it too," he whispered. "This bond. This strange feeling like half of you is missing."
She moved back . "Whatever this is, I know it's not real." She told him.
"With time you will see and accept your true nature."
"Alpha Tristan," Landon called. "She is not safe here, if they find out who she is and the power she possesses, there will be conflict among us."
Tristan sat down with pressure. "Then we will find a way to hide her," Tristan said.
Landon's phone rang.
"yes?" he said.
"We want to see her now," the female voice said, and hung up.
Landon's gaze shifted to Selene. "The elders wants to see her."
