Chapter 5 I've Always Known

I just made my way out to the main bar. Alyse and I were hiding in the bathroom so the guys wouldn't bait us into playing pool. To be honest we suck at that game. We heard the guys walk pass chatting loudly, knowing it's our cue to come out. Yelling out we asked them to order us a couple of drinks while we hit the dance floor. Both of us going crazy swaying our hips to Rhianna's S&M having a good time. It's times like these I cherish the friendships I have here. I have to admit I couldn't ask for a better set of friends. They have been with me threw all the good and bad.

Jaxon saunters onto the dancefloor with a bottle of Jack for us share. The DJ starts playing whatta man by salt n Peppa and we all 3 were dancing drinking and singing. No fucks given. Feeling free and full of energy, like this will be the most important night of my life and I have new clue why. It's probably due to the nonstop drinking I've thrown myself into. After the song was over, they started playing slower music, so we rushed to the bar to join the others. We chatted about everything and nothing. It's good to be with people who know you inside out, there's no hiding secrets and no putting on heirs.

" Hey Tess let's karaoke." Jax stated.

" Let's do it." I answered

We ended up singing shallow by Lady Gaga, after we were done the crowd went crazy. Jax and I were blessed with decent voices so we usually sing a song or 2 when we're out.

" My bestie wasn't only blessed with beauty, and a sweet soul, but also a beautiful voice." Alyse hugged me, I think she's starting to feel her drinks.

" Thank you Love." I answered hugging her back. Suddenly from out of nowhere I get a whiff of the most alluring scent, Rain and mint. Pulling away from Alyse my eyes were darting around looking for the scents owner. My eyes practically bulged out of their sockets when I saw him walking up to me. I've forgotten how beautiful of a sight he is, standing at 6'4, blonde hair, misty blue eyes, and the most kissable mouth I've ever seen. He was wearing a dark blue button down dress shirt, black slacks and black dress shoes. Goddess was he a sight. As he approached me, I heard my wolf Athena.

" Mate!"

My eyes filled with tears as he picked me up smiling at me.

" I've always known." I cried

You were adamant that we were mates since we were children." he smiled. I cupped his face and kissed him. My dream came true. I'm mentally thanking Selene for answering my prayers. I pulled back from his lips " Are you here to stay?" I asked.

" I'm here to stay Tess, sorry it took so long to come back." he said breathlessly. I couldn't refrain and kissed him again.I could stay in his arms for an eternity, and that's exactly what I plan to do.
