I poured the rest of my drink in my glass. My date had stood me up and as if that wasn't depressing enough. She mistakenly sent a drunk text to me, thinking I was her best friend.

She was out with her main guy. And forwarded my chats to me, intending to mock me with her friend. I sighed as I took another sip of my drink.

I was about to signal to my guard for us to leave when something interesting happened. A drunk man stood on the table an announced to pay drinks for everyone.

I scoffed and to my greater surprise, he started dancing.

I watched as he lifted his hands in the air whining his body slowly, and having the time of his life. I smiled, it was nice to see someone this bold and free.

I noticed how handsome he was, he must have so many girls lurking around him. I wondered how his body felt. He looked ripped.

My eyes scanned the rest of his body and when I looked back up, his eyes were on me.

He was walking towards me. Why? My heart skipped a beat when his lips suddenly landed on mine.

What the fuck. I wanted to push him away, but why did it feel good. And he smelled so nice.

I didn't know when my hands went to the back of his neck to pull him closer to me. My mind couldn't fathom what I was doing, but my body acted entirely differently.

Was it the alcohol? I felt heat rush through my body, to places I didn't expect.

Even when we got to the room I couldn't bring myself to stop him, or stop enjoying being touched by him. The way he held me, the way he swallowed my full length. So much pleasure rushed through me. I was going to cum.

As soon as I released, I felt a wave of embarrassment wash over me. He was still in the bathroom, when I quickly put on my clothes, and ran. I ran.

I couldn't hide anymore after the ceremony. I had to represent my family's company by working directly with him.

I stared at my new Boss sitting on his desk across me, my sister's spouse. I mentally slapped myself. Of all people, why did it have to be him?

I wanted to pretend like I don't remember anything that happened that night, but my body irked just thinking about it. How drunk did I have to get to let a guy suck me? And of all guys, him.

I ran away that night because I couldn't face the embarrassment of what I had done. Almost as if cumming cleared every bit of alcohol left in my system. But then, here I was having to work with him.

"You might as well talk about what is on your mind, instead of trying to drill a hole in my head with your eyes." Ronald spoke from behind his desk, snapping me from my thoughts.

I didn't realized I had been staring. "Are you going to pretend like there was nothing to say?" I asked.

"We met for the first time, yesterday remember? And I wasn't the one that ran off on the other." He said bluntly.

I tapped the cover of my pen, nervously. "I just didn't want it to be awkward. What happened was a mistake, Ronald."

He raised an eyebrow. "What part?"

"Everything. You belong with my sister. And I'm not even into guys!" I blurted out.

He looked at me like I suddenly had a red nose and colored hair. "I understand your sister's part. But you don't really mean that, do you? You're not..."

"No. I was high and I'm not sure why I let it, maybe because it was fun to try new things, but that's not me. And that is not us, what we have should just be strictly business."

"Oh." He leaned back in his chair and watched me for a few seconds. His lips curled, "Okay."

"Thanks." I said and handed him the files on the update on my father's company. It was easier to talk about business now that the air has been cleared.

"I'm only agreeing with you for the sake of your sister. I don't care about any other thing." He stated nonchalantly.

I rolled my eyes, ignoring him to explain what was expected from the office in the next quarter.

"That ring looks good on you." Connor said sarcastically. "So it's official?"

"Don't be like that, you know I wouldn't do it if I could."

"It's the 21st century. You can refuse a marriage Kyla, or you can threaten to run away." He said pulling my waist closer to him. "Let's run away together."

I let out a soft chuckle. "I wish it was as easy as you make it seem. You have a company to run. You have a life here."

"We can always start over." He sighed. "However way this goes, you know that I love you right? If you really want to go ahead with it... if you think that's what's best, I'd always support you."

"Yeah, Connor. I love you too." I said as he close my lips with a kiss.

I moaned as the kissed deepened, wanting more of him. Fuck. I doubt this was going to end anytime soon.

He held my breast and squeezed my nipple, "oh Connor." I moaned. I pushed myself to him, feeling the hard bulge between his legs.

His hands went under my dress to feel me.

"No no. what are you doing? What if someone comes in?" I asked in between my breath.

"Don't worry about it love, the door is locked and no one is coming anytime soon." He said and closed my lips with another kiss.

His fingers were already sliding between my thighs when a sharp knock hit the door.

"Excuse me, Sir?" a voice called. I felt my heart leave my chest.
