Chapter 4 Mated To Two Sisters

"Are you ready for this?"

"From the day I told you that I loved you, I've been ready," Vivian Answered.

A smile curved up Cassius lips at her reply. He was glad to finally be taking such a step with the love of his life and the woman that was destined for him from the moment he was born.

Great joy flooded his heart not just because he was about to mate the woman to free his pack of its curse, but also a woman who made his heart beat fast.

"Let's go". He gave her his hand and she linked her fingers through it. With matching smiles, they walked through the doors of his packhouse and into the garden where the rest of the pack was gathered for their mating ceremony. His grandfather was already standing on the podium waiting for them. He insisted that he wanted to be the one to perform the rites and of course, Cassius didn't have the balls to refuse his request.

"Vivian Achilles, do you accept Cassius Clay as the man you'll spend the rest of your life with in complete submission?" They began.

Vivian looked straight into his eyes as she nodded her head with the widest smile ever gracing her lips. She looked radiant in her white gown that billowed in the wind and the bouquet of fresh roses in her hands.

"Cassius, you said you had a few things to say as a vow?" He heard his grandfather say.

Wide eyed, Vivian looked at him.

"I thought we agreed on no vows in public. We wanted it private and personal" She whispered to him.

Although he knew what they agreed to, he was just so overwhelmed with joy that he couldn't help but want to shout his love from the rooftops.

Gently, he took her hands in his and brought them to his lips. He kissed them and brought them back down.

"Vivian , I just want to tell you how grateful I am that you stepped out of your comfort zone and defied all odds to be with me. Even when we had to keep our love under wraps by meeting up secretly, you never for once, complained. I'm happy that I get to do life with you not just for a short while but till the end of my days. I love you, Vivian ".

At the end of his short speech, her eyes were filled with tears as she gazed at him with so much love and adoration.

"I love you too, Cassius Clay". She finally said.

He took her in his arms and kissed her when a hand came between their lips.

"Have you forgotten that the ceremony isn't over yet?" His grandfather raised an eyebrow at him.

Cassius rolled his eyes at him but stepped away from her as he wanted. In a few minutes, he was going to be able to kiss her at any time like he wanted, so there was no need to complain.

"Back to business". He cleared his throat and the snickers and giggles from the crowd gradually dissipated. Everyone was happy about Vivian Being in the pack because it spelled great things ahead for all of them.

"Now, as we were saying, have you prepared any rings or do we go straight to the oath taking ceremony?"

"We'll go straight to the oath taking ceremony"

As part of their decision, they were going to exchange their rings and vows privately where no one could see them, under the moon. That was what Vivianwanted so that was what she was going to get.

"Set your left hand on your chest and interlock your rights while you look each other in the eyes".

They adjusted their stances and did as he said. Viviancould hardly look him in the eye because of how shy she was but she managed.

"Now, repeat after me. I, your name, today take my partner, call the name, to be mine for life. This has been witnessed by..."

"Stop the ceremony!" They all heard, and everyone turned to see who shouted. The crowd suddenly parted for the two women coming through.

"Stop the ceremony. This cannot hold".

"Nora? What is this?" Cassius shot out the moment he recognized her.

She didn't look at him or answer his question. Instead, she focused on his grandfather.

"Alpha Cassius cannot be mated to Vivian ". She began.

"And why is that?" His grandfather's voice came out cool like he was used to interruptions like that.

"He cannot be with Vivian Because I am carrying his child". She said, and her mother nodded like that was going to drive home how serious the accusation was.

"You lie. I have never touched you." Cassius yelled.

"Oh, I knew you would say that. But, no problem". She opened her purse and brought out an envelope.

"Then, explain this here," She showed him.

Vivian And his grandfather shuffled closer to him as he opened the envelope. He mistakenly shook it and pictures fell to the ground. He bent immediately to pick them up and as he did, his jaw dropped open.

"What is this, Nora?"

"That is proof that we slept together. That is you in my bed naked with me which proves that we had sex. My baby is the result of the night we spent together". Nora boldly explained.

He turned to look at Vivian Who was standing beside him. She looked like she was going to kneel over at any moment. That was how pale she had suddenly become.

"Vivianbaby, we're still going to get mated. Don't worry about it".

"But the pictures..."

She tried to argue but he stopped her with a finger on her lips.

"We are finishing our mating ceremony".

He faced his grandfather and told him to continue from where he stopped. He gave the envelope to one of the guards that was beside him.

"Cassius, you can't do that. We are expecting a baby". Nora said, but he ignored.

A nod at his other guards was enough for them to understand what was to be done. They moved and restrained Nora and her mother from getting close to them while his grandfather finished the ceremony. And Nora couldn't stop complaining and grumbling from where she stood.

"Now my mating ceremony with Vivian Is done". He said, and took his hand out of Vivian 's and kept his face stoic as he said the next words.

"Now, my mating ceremony with Nora can begin".

"What?" Everyone stared stunned.
