Micah's POV.

Wait, what's going on here?.

This is my boyfriend and also my sister.

" Nate, are you okay?" I asked concerned because I am accurately sure something is wrong with Nate.

" Look, Micah, I am fine and have been wanting to tell you this a long time ago, I don't think you're the right woman for me, I have tried God knows, countlessly to deal with your boring nature, but it's just not it for me, I can't anymore, I've been meaning to tell you this, I mean you're so dumb that you've not been seeing the clues and signals I've been letting on for you to see how tired I am but you're so dumb to gets that, look Micah, Colette is pregnant with my baby and she's the only woman I love, it's a good thing right? Nate confessed, ending his abrupt speech with a smile before turning to face Colette.

" Sister, you're also invited, I'll leave a spot for you," Colette let out, obviously mocking me but with sheer happiness in her voice.

I sat still astounded by all that had just unfolded, unable to even form any right words to say.

I was too dumb to take the clues he was giving.

My eyes darted to both of them who were staring lovingly at each other.

I sat gobsmacked, unable to lift a feet, I felt my whole world spinning right in front of my face, disbelief clearly in my eyes.

I was unable to accept the truth that was clearly happening right in front of me.

" How long as this has been going on? I stuttered as I managed to find my voice, and just like I had expected, my voice had turned hoarse, I was on the verge of tearing up.

" Two years now," Cole replied almost immediately.

Bloody hell.

My sister and my three years boyfriend were having an affair, and I didn't even notice or get suspicious enough to grasp.

I'm really stupid, really, really stupid.

A wild pathetic smile left my lips as I stared into space.

" Look, Micah, I know you're angry or mostly suprise but it's been a hard work keeping it from you and I would never do anything to hurt you that's why I Decided to come clean now, I had told mom you wouldn't like it but she still approve of us letting you know" Cole said as she picked on her nails.

Mom? My mother?

" Yes, your parents had given us their full support and approved of our relationship when we actually started dating," Nate said and placed a kiss on Colette's ring finger.

My eyes caught the ring, and immediately, I accepted all of it. It is true and real.

I have been betrayed by everyone I ever loved.

My boyfriend of three years has been sleeping with my elder sister, and soon enough, they would be getting engaged with the blessings of my own parents.

I let out a hysterical laugh... Who says family is the only true friendship you can find.

Why were all the bad things in life faced in my direction?

I picked up my bag and walked out, I couldn't take it anymore. The couple hadn't even noticed that I had stood up, they werw still entangled in a lovey dovey position

And now I am still crying, no wonder, the constant asking if Nate had proposed to me from colette.

The constant late night work excuses from Nate, he had been spending those times with Colette and giving me excuses that I've been believing foolishly.

Oh god...

How could the best graduating student of Oxford turn out to be so foolish in the aspect of love?

The saying is really true " Love they say is blind," but to my case, I lost my sight totally.

" Grr.."

My phone rang, and I stared at it, unable to even pick it up, I just stared at the caller id till it went off. I couldn't find the strength to pick it up.

It rang one more time, and hesitantly, I picked it before placing it on my ears.

My sobs were the first to get out before my voice.

" Are you okay, Micah?" Emily asks, obviously heard my sobs.

" Micah, what's wrong with you? Friggin talk to me. " Emilia urges in panic, yet I said nothing.

" Em, Nate is getting engaged to.... Colette, " I finally spoke up after holding it in.

My voice broke down at the end, but I was sure Em heard me right.

" What the hell?" Daisy screams from the background.

" I've always known Nate is so stupid, and your sister is so self conceited and won't waste any chance to ruin your life." Daisy faint voice still chipped in.

" Go stuff your mouth with your favourite candy or snacks, Daisy, if you won't help issues here," Emily yelled back.

"What? Am only pointing out the truth here, " Daisy muttered, defending herself.

"Thanks,well, no one needs it now," Emily scoffed.

I felt relieved for having friends like them because at a point like this, their bantering lits up my mood a bit.

"My bad, Micah,are you fine? of course you aren't " Daisy muttered to herself, finally realising the point Emily was talking about.

" Where are you, baby girl?" Emily called out.

" we'll come to you," Daisy added, concerned.

Just then, droplets of rain start pouring out instantly, disconnecting the call.

Why is everything bad happening to me.

The rain soon turned heavy, but I had no intentions of getting out of the rain. Instead, I allowed myself to soak in the rain mixed with another round of fresh tears.

Will I be able to heal from this wound?
