Chapter 5 Fulfilled wish

Morning came and they both went to their work place.

Anna scrolled through her phone to check from the ring pictured she saved on her phone to see which one mark would love to use. Someone suddenly came to her office and on looking up it was mark "ohh....mark it's a pleasure to see you"s he said beaming

"Do you have an idea about the ring? I won't be able to go out throughout this week, I have to go for my younger sister's school party" he said

"Take a look at these then,just like I knew you were coming in..... I was just thinking about showing them to you"Anna said

"They all are beautiful....which one do you suggest" he asked her

" How do you get your clothes?" She said sarcastically

"My girlfriend gets them for my or any of my sisters"he replied

"Now I understand, but I won't be choosing the ring you just choose one and we'll go search for it"she said

"Thanks a lot Anna"he said

"Don't forget that you owe me and to pay it back I'll be the one to plan all of the events" she said

"That's a done deal,besides I trust your judgement"he said raising up his hands and smiling

"That's my boy,now get out of my office"she teased

"Really now?can't you accommodate your client?"he gasped

"I don't accommodate hungry clients.....don't go yet,here's your food"she said

" so you won't remember to give me if I didn't come?" He pouted

"Nahhh.... I wanted to give you by break time and please return my warmer you're getting married soon and you won't want to decorate your house with my warmer" she said

"Don't worry I'll return them all to you" he said

" does that mean she doesn't complain about the warmers in your house?" She asked

"She knows you're the reason I eat well at work and she knows you're taken so I got no problems"he said heading out

After work Brianna and Mark went in search of the ring he chose on her phone but unknown to them a private detective hired by Mr Dennis was watching and taking photos of her ever since she stepped out of her apartment in the morning,the detective called Mr Dennis and told him he saw her at a ring shop which made Mr Dennis to immediately call Emmanuel "Emmanuel I just got to know that your woman is in a ring shop with a guy"

"Come on daddy,it's not what you think" he said defending her

"lets see then, why don't you ask her and make sure you don't hang up the call because I'll like to hear her"his father said authoritatively

"Okay I'll call her now"he said helplessly, he dialed her number with his second phone and she picked up immediately

"Hello sweetheart " he said

"Hi darling"she replied

"Where are you?" He asked

"I'm at the ring shop,Mark plans to propose to Samantha this month and I'll be planning everything"she said enthusiastically

"Wow,Mark is popping the question already" he said full of smiles

Mark snatches the phone from her and said

"please Emmanuel tell your lady to stop teasing me" he said almost shouting into the phone

Mr Dennis on the other hand was surprised that he has misjudged her already

"Alright just make sure you choose something beautiful because I know you don't have a great taste in choosing things like that " Emmanuel also teased

"That's why I have Anna here or do we put you on video call?"Mark said eagerly

Knowing his father was in call on his other phone he quickly declined "no I have things to do"he said

"I chose one already and I'll show you if we can get it here"mark said

"Alright bye " he said hanging up, he took a deep breath and held the phone on which he was on call with his father close to his ears "did you eat all our discussion now dad?"he asked

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean I still won't investigate her" his father said hanging up.

Knowing how his father was he knew he has to impregnate her as soon as possible.

While working on her computer she heard a knock

"come in" Anna said, surprisingly it was Emmanuel.

"hey baby,how's work today" he said standing beside her and rolling her chair to face him.

"Work is fine"she replied smiling and suddenly blushing at the thought of having sex with him.

"Did I say something?" He asked confused at her smiles.

"No,just happy to see you" she said

"Okay then"he said and bent over to kiss her and she kissed him languidly,he was surprised at the response

"Do you miss me that much?"he asked

"Nope,why.....what's wrong"she replied

"Have you been watching something?"he asked not believing her.

"No, I haven't"she replied

He stared at her for a while and said

"It won't reduce your beauty to say you miss me,you know?in-fact it will make you glow more" he teased

She smiles and quickly changed the subject "I didn't hear of any meeting today what's up " she asked knowing that he doesn't come to the company without a meeting being held

"Someone is selling his shares here and I came to buy it " he said winking at her

"Who's that?.....wait is it Mr Samba ?" She inquired

"Yeah he said he's leaving this part of the world for the east part of the world so he wants to sell his shares "he explained

"He owns as much as you do,how can you come up with the amount you need for it"she asked

"You're underestimating me,my love, I have a lot of money"he said

"You're a large spender,Emmanuel. And I sometimes wonder how you have savings"she said truthfully

He smiled at her knowing that she thought he only relied on the money he made there to make a living.

"Don't worry baby,once he sells them to me we'll have more money to spend and buy more luxurious things too"he said cupping her face and kissing her head.
