Chapter 5 Our Mate

Darius returned from the kitchen with a large tray of food in his hands. His wolf was excited. Their mate was finally with them.

They have been searching for years now for the perfect mate that would suit both of them but to no avail.

Until he met her that morning.

His wolf almost let out a primal sound as she stepped into his office that morning while Rita was sucking him off.

He knew then and there that she was the one.

When Lucius returned that afternoon to say the same thing, this contract was the only way to bring her close to them without scaring her. After all, she was only a human, and creatures like them were supposed to be myths.

With the tray in his hands and a smile on his lips, he pushed the door to their bedroom open.

The air immediately changed. Tension lingered in the room.

He turned to the lounge and saw Layla standing with her hands pulled into fists while his brother only smirked in anticipation.

Knowing Lucius, Darius was certain he had made a very crazy demand.

He quickly walked to them and placed the tray on the table.

"Layla, you should eat." Then he turned to his brother, "Can you step outside for a minute?"

Lucius rolled his eyes and hissed. But he did get up.

"Enjoy your meal and take a shower before bedtime," he said to Layla motioning to the window across from them, the sun was starting to set.

He and Darius walked out of the room. He leaned against the wall and glared at his brother.

"What now?"

"Can't you see that you are scaring her?" Darius asked.

Lucius rolled his eyes and scoffed. "She is our mate. She loved everything I do to her even if she doesn't understand that yet."

"She is human, Lucius. We need to handle her with caution. If we fail to train her correctly, the pack wouldn't accept her!"

"They will have no other choice. They need a Luna and we are their Alphas. They are bound to crown our mate and Layla is that mate!" Lucius bellowed.

Darius placed his fingers on his temples and tried to calm himself.

"You are very correct. But she just got here. The least we can do is give her some time to cool off..."

"My wolf doesn't have that patience. I want to hold her. I want to fuck her!"

"I want the same thing too. But we won't get any of that if she doesn't ask for it. Remember the contract?" Darius reminded him.

A smirk grew on Lucius's face as he glared at his brother. "Why did you think I included that clause about sleeping naked?"

Darius mirrored his brother's smirk. "You are so dirty-minded!"

"At least I am patient. I waited for our mate unlike you!" He retorted.

The brothers broke into laughter as they walked to the kitchen where their meal was. They decided to give Layla some time on her own to relax.

Layla on the other hand, could not bring herself to eat after what she just discovered.

She moved to the contract on the table and skipped to the page Lucius had spoken about.

Tears reached her eyes as she saw that he was right. She had to strip whenever he was in the room and she was also required to sleep naked with the brothers.

Were they crazy?

At this point, she wanted to run away but her signature had imprisoned her. She couldn't leave just like that.

Her phone vibrated in her pockets and she snatched it out to see the beeping light. It was Fey.

She wiped her tears and cleared her voice so that Fey wouldn't be suspicious.

"Hey, Fey, how are you?"

"I am sorry. I didn't ask if I was allowed to call whenever I wanted..."

"Oh, no. Fey, please you know you can call me anytime," Layla replied.

"Okay, so, how are you? How is it going? Tell me everything!" Fey said and Layla could imagine the smile on her face already.

"My room is very large. It can fit fifty people in it..." She said staring at the large bed with sadness.

"Can I come to visit?" Fey shrieked. "I want to see everything!"

Layla was quiet as she knew that would be difficult to pull off especially now that it wasn't just one man but two.

How was she going to explain to Fey that she would be staying with two sexy men!?

"I- I will ask about that," Layla lied.

"Perfect! I will check on you again tomorrow. Oh, lest I forget, thank you, I received the money you sent to me," Fey said and Layla could only smile sadly.

"You don't have to thank me, Fey. You would have done the same for me. I am getting good money here. If I can't use that to help you, what sort of a best friend am I?"

"Aww, Layla, you will make me cry," she whimpered.

Another surge of determination coursed through Layla. She was going to do this till the end. She would be strong.

She ended the call with Fey and went to the tray. She stuffed her stomach with as much food as she could muster and went on to take a shower in the state-of-the-art bathroom.

As she washed herself, she heard the door in the room open and she knew the brothers were back.

She quickly finished up and wrapped her body with a towel. Then she stepped out.

"Darius will be spending the night somewhere else. Tonight it's just you and me," Lucius said and Layla felt her heart flip.

"It's late. We should sleep," he added and started taking off his clothes.

Layla's face turned pink as she watched the sexy devil take off every piece of clothing till he was left with nothing.

His huge cock was so thick and long, Layla found herself unable to look away.

"Take off that towel and join me. It's going to be a long and cold night," Lucius said as he got on the bed and switched off the light.
