Zach pov

I squinted my eyes to get a better look at the person dancing. " It's definitely Amelia " I said to Lucas " what are the odds? "

" Why are you looking at her that way? " Lucas said to him " what are you thinking, don't do anything stupid "

" Oh, it won't be stupid, it will be genius. I am thinking of announcing our engagement to the world " I said grinning

" Bro, come on, give her a break, she just found out about the wedding, she is just coming to terms with it, now you want to let everyone know, think about how she would feel " Lucas said.

" Oh that's exactly what I'm thinking about, the shock that will spread across her face. " I replied

" I have to do it in a spectacular way "

I continued, thinking as my eyes locked with Amelia's.

I thought she was going to leave when she saw me, but decided to ignore me instead and continued dancing.

"You want to ignore me Amelia, too bad I can't ignore you. " I said to myself. I stood up and went to meet with the DJ to discuss what I wanted to do to surprise my fiancee Amelia Williams.

The DJ congratulated me and went to call Amelia through the mic. I watched as Amelia face turned from confused to horror when the DJ announced that her fiance wanted to dance with her.

I decided to quickly move to meet her before she regained her composure in order to savor the moment.

I went on to kiss Amelia's hand in front of everyone one and put her arms on my shoulder to dance.

" You look dashing tonight dearest wife to be. " I said to Amelia.

Amelia looked at me and smiled.

" Congratulations " she said to me "You have managed to catch me unaware again"

" I wouldn't say manage " I replied " I am rather good at it "

As they danced I could help but think of how I was rather enjoying this. I made Amelia shocked and distressed twice in one night and I need to keep the streak going. I pondered on what else I could do to disorientate Amelia.

While Zach thought Amelia also thought. Zach was good, he kept it coming. She was not expecting what just happened.

He had managed to announce their engagement to the club, thereby announcing it to the world. The club is frequented with a lot of reporters, bloggers and paparazzi. No doubt they were making headlines already at the moment.

Third person Pov

While they danced Lucas saw Tiffany and went to meet her.

"Hi, I'm Lucas, I'm Zach's friend. You are Amelia's friend right" Lucas asked putting his hand out for an handshake.

"Yes, I'm Tiffany" Tiffany replied stretching her hands out.

"I must say, they look good together" Lucas said "reminds me of old times"

"I didn't know Amelia then, but she told me Zach is a terrible person and what he did to her. But I couldn't help but notice she left a few details out" Tiffany said " How can someone you don't really know hurt you that much " Tiffany asked curiosity lace in her voice.

"Oh wow, that's all she told you" Lucas asked

"She left major bits out. They used to date" Lucas told her.

"Date?" Tiffany asked "I thought it was just a crush? "

"No, it's was a pretty serious relationship. " He said "no one actually knows the main reason they broke up and hate each other. I feel they are too embarrassed to say, but I know each of them feel betrayed. " Lucas said a he sipped his wine looking at Tiffany.

Lucas remembered how down Zach was after the breakup, from his perspective he didn't know what had happen that led to hatred between them.

But he remembered that Zach went through all the stages of grief and then went to full blown hatred for Amelia. He had tried so many times to make Zach open up and tell him what happened so he could try to resolve the issue between them, but Zach preferred to be mute on the matter and Amelia wasn't willing to share either.

He had resigned leaving them to their drama, but looking at them right now he could see that they both still had feelings for each other.

The way Zach had been behaving all night looking for Amelia's trouble in ways that are playful only shows the love he still has for her. After all, there is a thin line between love and hate Lucas thought.

Zach's eyes shone as he discovered the perfect way to torture Amelia daily. It was the best way, he was changing the levels to this game.

"Tell me Amelia, what is it you are doing these days. I know you have never had an interest in your family business. "

Amelia drew her brows together as she asked "Why do you want to know"

"I should know about my wife's activities, don't you think" Zach replied

"Well, I f you must know, I am having a fashion show soon, I was to present my collection to the world. I'm so excited about it" She replied

"That's great, how soon is it" He asked

"What's with the questions Zach" she asked

"I just want to know if it will be before or after the wedding. As you know after the wedding we will be working together" Zach said

"No, I didn't know" Amelia raised her voice "what do you mean working together"

Zach smiled, he was actually lying, no one had said they would be working together, he just thought about it and felt it will be the perfect way to torture Amelia.

He was going to call Desmond immediately and tell him his idea. He was as sure Desmond wouldn't miss an open to have eyes and ears in the Fernandez business.

Zach was excited about this, he needed to control himself so that Amelia does not discover that he just thought about this and nothing had been decided.

He didn't want her to ruin the plan by convincing her father against this possible alignment.

"Hasn't your dad told you" Zach lied " we agreed on it together with the wedding arrangement. "

"What will I be doing, I know nothing about the business" Amelia said

"You don't to worry about that" Zach said grinning "you won't have a big role after all, you will just be my personal assistant. "
