Chapter 10 When Heirs Collide

Graham Marcus's eyes lit up, and he secretly glanced at them twice, thinking to himself: *"Master is right. First my little Blair, now this beauty-both are leagues better than that Marissa Kent. Their legs are so smooth... I wonder what it feels like to touch them."

Mr. Lawson came over and said with a more respectful smile, "Miss Harris, what brings you here? Should I inform Mr. Howard..."

"Get out of the way. I'm not here for you!"

Mr. Lawson awkwardly stepped aside, surprised to see Vivian Harris, the eldest daughter of the Harris family, walk directly to Graham Marcus and the others. She spoke in an unexpectedly friendly tone:

"Mr. Marcus, I'm Vivian Harris. I believe Uncle Walter mentioned my father earlier. I've specially prepared a dinner at home. Would you do me the honor of joining us for a simple meal?"

At the same time, Walter Harris, the Harris family's chief steward, smiled and nodded at Graham in greeting.

Mr. Lawson and Marissa Kent's group were stunned. The Harris Group was the leading corporation in Crestwood Falls-far greater than the Kent or Grant families-and Vivian Harris personally controlled nearly half the family business!

Now, this usually untouchable heiress was speaking so warmly to this so-called "country bumpkin" in front of everyone. Marissa and the others felt their cheeks sting as though they'd been slapped.

Vivian glanced at Marissa, then at Caleb Grant and the others. When her eyes landed on Caleb's pig-like swollen face, a flicker of surprise crossed her eyes. She slightly furrowed her brows and said coldly,

"What are you doing here too?"

Marissa and the others quickly greeted her with a polite, "Sister Vivian." But the embarrassment on their faces was obvious-it stung deeply.

Vivian nodded coldly in response. Regardless of what had happened moments ago, the priority now was to bring this miracle doctor back. She had just confirmed his identity through a call to the retired police chief, who had fainted earlier and turned out to be the first patient treated by Graham Marcus.

Vivian tried to soften her icy demeanor with a polite smile.

"Mr. Marcus, shall we?"

"Alright," Graham said, his gaze sweeping coldly across Marissa and the others. "But first, I have one last matter to settle."

Without warning, Graham stepped forward and seized Caleb Grant's wrist. Mr. Lawson panicked and shouted,

"No!"

But it was too late. Graham's fingers pressed against Caleb's knuckles, and three crisp cracks echoed through the air. Not too loud, but just chilling enough. Three bones. No more, no less.

Caleb's face twisted in agony, and a blood-curdling scream ripped from his throat. Graham calmly turned to Vivian and smiled.

"We can go now."

The scene sent a chill through Vivian's spine. *How could someone who could break bones with a smile be the same miracle doctor who heals lives?* she thought. But she didn't dwell on it. She merely nodded and smiled tightly.

"Then let's go, Mr. Marcus. Please."

Marissa Kent and the others were dumbfounded, watching Graham walk away while supporting the trembling Caleb. None dared stop him.

However, Mr. Lawson, being the restaurant's lobby manager, felt obliged to intervene-especially with so many customers watching.

When he and the security guards blocked the path, Vivian's expression darkened.

"Mr. Lawson, what do you think you're doing?"

Mr. Lawson had never faced a dilemma like this. Backed by Mr. Howard's reputation, he usually didn't have to deal with troublemakers. But now he was stuck.

"Miss Harris, whether you come or go, we welcome you. But this man must stay. He injured someone. We can't just let it slide."

Vivian's tone grew colder.

"I want to take him with me."

Mr. Lawson gave a wry smile. "Miss Harris, this goes against the rules. We still need to give the Grant family an explanation..."

Vivian repeated firmly, "I want to take him with me."

Mr. Lawson wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"How about this? He can stay here for now. Once Mr. Howard returns, he'll personally handle it. I'm sure he'll respect your position..."

"I want to take him with me," Vivian said again, her tone like ice.

Mr. Lawson was now drenched in sweat.

"Miss Harris..."

"I. Want. To. Take. Him. With. Me!" Vivian repeated without blinking.

Watching all this from the side, Graham nearly burst into laughter. *This girl's got guts. And fire.*

Just as Mr. Lawson was about to collapse from the pressure, Walter Harris finally stepped in.

"Mr. Lawson," he said warmly, "our General Manager Harris and Mr. Howard are old friends. She'll call him personally after this. Don't worry-she won't make things difficult for you."

Mr. Lawson could only nod awkwardly and gesture for the security guards to step aside.

As they prepared to leave, Blair suddenly turned around and glanced at Marissa Kent and her group. Her voice dripped with contempt.

"Don't think you're so great just because you've got a little money. Even in a place like Crestwood Falls, you can't block out the sky with one hand. The world is huge, and this city is small. You're just frogs at the bottom of the well, staring up."

Both Vivian and Graham turned to look at Blair. Graham thought, *What a bold little thing. That kind of pride doesn't come from an ordinary family... I'm really curious now. What's her story?*

Blair clung to Graham's arm and smiled sweetly.

"Let's go, Graham!"

Graham smiled and gently patted her head. The shame and humiliation of the past didn't matter anymore. What mattered was slapping the Kent family in the face-soon.
