Chapter 3 Let me go! - Linxara brooke

LINXARA BROOKE

These people?

I don't know them. I have never seen them before in my entire life. Especially this person who seemed to be the boss of them. He didn't tell them to stop dragging me. Even Nicole couldn't say anything. I was rough-handled like I committed a crime. I was handled like they didn't want my existence.

I kicked against the floor trying to stop them. "Let me go! Leave me alone!" I yelled out but no one seemed to answer me. They all ignored my screams. "I told you that I don't know you. Where are you taking me?" I voiced out and once we were out of the building, four flashy cars were waiting.

One of the men dressed in a tailored suit opened the car door for the man and he entered without looking back. I was dragged into one of the flashy cars. "Please, let me go. Mr, please I don't know you. I didn't do anything wrong. Where are you taking me?" I screamed with tears pouring down my eyes. I have never been embarrassed like this in my life. I was the gentle one.

After I was dragged into the black car, it sped off. I kept pleading to the man beside me to let me go. "I am begging you, sir. I didn't do anything wrong. I swear. I didn't do anything." I cried in tears. The man in black only looked at me and turned his face away.

"Then let me go if you won't be saying anything. Let me go if you won't tell me what I did for you to take me from my job and drag me in here." I uttered, attempting to tap the man then he caught my hand and frowned.

"No touching. When you get to our destination, you will find out what you did wrong." The man said simply and yanked my hand off, hurting me. More tears flowed in. I was being kidnapped, and there was no one to help me, and the next thing I thought of was my phone. My cellphone. I touched my pocket but couldn't find anything.

I could only call two people. Vivian, a friend of mine, and my twin sister, Vanessa. I must have left my phone in the changing room in the restaurant. Just before I knew it, the car stopped and the man stepped out and came to my side to drag me out.

I was dragged out and I was met with the most gigantic buildings. It was obvious that I was at a mansion. The most breathtaking mansion I have ever seen. The exterior design was top-notch and the fountain was extraordinary. There were so many cars of different models. So many cars that I couldn't count. The owner of this property must be a rich tycoon. Even if I worked for twenty years, I could never gather all these things.

My top priority is my sick mother. I have to find a way to leave this place. I don't know anybody here. I don't know what I have done wrong. I was grabbed by two men and they whisked me inside like I was a criminal. I didn't have the time to take in the enormous view of the interior design. I was locked into a room.

With a princess bed and all, the neutral color of the room. I fidgeted because the cold was too much for me to bear. So cold, that my lips began to tremble. I have never been to a place as cold as this before. I stood up on my feet and looked around looking for how I was going to escape. I moved over to the six set drawers and opened them one after the other. Rummaging through them, hoping that I would find something to use.

I moved from the drawers to the window, but the slides weren't looking like anything that I had seen before. They were expensive and hard to break through, even though I wanted to escape. When I found out that nothing was of no use, I paced back and forth. I glanced at the wall clock, it was already past eight in the night. Tonight, I don't know what my fate will be.

Just as I was thinking about what was happening, the door burst open, and that man entered. The one whose presence was intimidating, making me scared. I shivered in my fear as he slammed the door shut. I have never seen him before.

"You think you are so smart right?" He blurted in a deep, dark voice. "Please sir, I am begging you. I have to go back to my mother. She is sick and she needs my help. Please, let me go back." I pleaded hoping he would at least hear me and let me leave. Tears rolled off my eyes. I bite my lips.

He only smirked and folded his arms, flexing his biceps and the tattoos lacing around it. His lips weren't smiling and his face was void of emotions. "All I asked from you was a lap dance. A fucking private lap dance!" He yelled, scaring the hell out of me.

A private lap dance? I...I ran my fingers through my hair. A lap dance? Hell no. I didn't do a lap dance for anyone. I swear I didn't.

"Lap dance," I whispered trying to remember. What the fuck? It's Vanessa. It's her. She's the one. She is the only one who offers a private lap dance. This is a misunderstanding.

I raised my head just to find the man right in front of my face scaring me the more. I had to shift back and he kept coming closer. He did that till I had no space to move to. My back landed on the wall.

"I think this is a misunderstanding sir. I wasn't the one who gave you a lap dance."

He pulled a wicked look. "Do you think you can fool me? Do you think so? You were the one. You are not going to escape this. I will teach you a lesson." He suddenly said and grabbed my neck.

I screamed as he wrapped it even tighter. "Is this what you want? Then I will get you behind bars. By the time you rot in jail, you will provide my cash and my golden wristwatch."

He pushed me to the floor and some people marched in.

They weren't just ordinary people. The cops.

No, he isn't going to arrest me right?
