Fortunately, she had found a wonderful job with her talent at art. Through hard work, she had become the chief designer.

Three years ago, after she had given birth to her baby, she began a career as a jewelry designer. Her work won several international awards multiple times. As the company's headquarters was relocated, she was also transferred to the new workplace.

She didn't expect that her company would finally decide to be based in this city. This city had brought heavy emotional damage to her.

She did think about resigning and choosing another job. However, it had been four years, and her resentment had dissipated. She thought to herself, "Why would I give up my job, which I worked hard for three years, because of those horrible people?" She had already lost everything once because of them, and she didn't want to start from scratch again.

Therefore, she returned.

"Where is designer Carlewood? Isn't this the right flight?" The female assistant muttered to herself.

At this time, a clear voice came from beside her. "Hi, I guess I'm the person you're waiting for."

As soon as the girl turned her head, she saw a girl around the same age as herself looking at her. She immediately looked at her with her mouth agape. "Are you Miss Vivianna Carlewood?"

"What? I don't look the part?" Vivianna smiled. It was hard for people to believe that she could become a chief designer at the age of 24 years old. However, age was not a determinant for excelling at this job. She had gotten the job due to her capabilities.

"Pardon me, my name is Winslow Tallman. I'm here to pick you up. It's so nice to meet you, Miss Carlewood." After saying that, a pair of bright and clear eyes caught her attention. She was surprised for a few seconds and then she laughed. "Miss Carlewood, this is your little brother, isn't he? He's so cute!"

The little boy immediately pouted and retorted, "I'm not mommy's brother! I'm mommy's baby."

Mommy?

Winslow was shocked again. Vivianna, the chief designer, was about the same age as her, which was surprising enough. Now, there was a little boy who was around four years old, saying that he was her son? Winslow was really stunned.

"This is my son, Zeph," Vivianna said.

"My name is Zephaniah Carlewood." The little boy introduced himself.

"It's such a nice name!" Winslow praised with a smile.

In the car back to the apartment, Winslow kept teasing Zeph, because he was so adorable. His cuteness made him irresistible, anyone who saw him would want to tease and play with him.

Vivianna looked out the window. The city was familiar, yet strange. The memories from four years ago appeared in her mind clearly. Here, she had loved and then hated a man. In the past four years, she had never inquired about news within the country. Therefore, she knew nothing about the current situation of Lambert Enterprise.

Of course, she didn't want to know either.

Her son's birth was also unusual. She had been very careless, and she didn't even know that she was pregnant, even when she was five months along. When she felt the fetus moving, she went to the hospital and asked for an abortion.

The doctors in the hospital refused her request. She asked many hospitals, but none of them would operate on her. The fetus was healthy and had already grown into a baby.

She was angry and disgusted at first, but later, the child grew in her belly and he was tossing and turning every day. He was a naughty troublemaker and she felt her resentment dissipating.

When she tried her best to give birth to the baby, she was drowsy. She heard the nurse whispering in her ear, "Your baby is healthy and beautiful."

She didn't believe this until the nurse had washed the child and placed him in her arms. Her heart felt as if it was glowing. A little angel had flown to her side all of a sudden.

She didn't expect the child who was left behind by this man to be so precious and lovely.

Since then, her life changed tremendously. She escaped from the bleak present and she put aside her resentment against the Lambert family. She began to work hard to raise her child. She managed to make a successful application and she became a jewelry designer. She had gone through a long journey till today.

She had succeeded. Her child had become her whole life.

When the car passed through a busy street, Vivianna looked up and saw the golden signboard of Lambert Enterprise gleaming in the sunshine. It was brilliant and magnificent. Vivianna's heart was pricked once again.
