Chapter 5 ROOM 207

The note troubled her all night.

Tomorrow,

Room 207.

After school

Door unlocked

Amara read it so many times she could trace the ink with her eyes closed. Sleep was impossible. Her thoughts were consumed not just by what happened in the library, but by what might happen next.

The kiss hadn't satisfied anything yet It had ignited everything.

She wasn't just breaking rules anymore but

was also shattering them.

Room 207 sat on the far end of the west wing isolated, rarely used, its windows facing nothing but forest. It was the kind of place you could scream in and no one would hear.

By 4:45 PM, the hallways were empty.

By 5:00, her trembling fingers pushed open the door.

It creaked.

Inside, the room was dim, lit only by the gold of a setting sun bleeding through the blinds, Desks stood like silent witnesses.

And there he was.

Liam sat on the edge of the teacher's desk, arms crossed, looking like sin wrapped in shadows.

She stepped inside and Closed the door.

Didn't say anything

Neither did he.

For a moment, they just stared. The silence between them wasn't awkward it was electric Heavy with everything they didn't say.

Then he spoke

"You came"

She nodded once "I shouldn't have"

"But you did"

"Yes"

He stood slowly "Because you wanted to"

"I don't know what I want anymore," she said, voice shakes.

"You want ME," he said, walking toward her "And that terrifies you"

Amara swallowed hard "This could ruin everything"

"It could also change everything"

She didn't move when he reached her.

Didn't stop him when he tilted her chin with one finger.

"Tell me to stop," he whispered

She didn't

Instead, she leaned in just enough for her breath to touch his lips

"Liam," she breathed, "if you do this, don't hold back."

His eyes darkened ,His hands moved one to her waist, and the other hand sliding up her spine, under her blouse Skin to skin.

And then

Their mouths collided.

Not sweet and Not slow.

Starved

He pushed her gently against the wall, lifting her slightly so her feet barely touched the floor Her legs wrapped around his hips instinctively, like her body had decided long before her mind.

The kiss deepened tongues meeting, teeth grazing,Her hands gripped the hem of his shirt, tugging it up, revealing the heat of his skin. He groaned into her mouth as her fingers traced the hard lines of his abdomen.

"You're dangerous" she whispered between kisses.

"So are you," he said, dragging his mouth down her neck. "You make me lose control."

His teeth grazed her collarbone, sending a shiver down her spine. She arched into him, moaning softly as his hands explored firm, demanding, like he was learning her body by touch alone.

But it wasn't just lust.

It was obsession. A need too big to name.

Their clothes didn't come off completely but enough.

Enough for heat to build, for pulses to race, for gasps to echo in the silence.

She gripped his hair as his lips returned to hers, and for a moment, nothing else existed.

No school, No rules, No consequences.

Only THEM

Liam finally slowed, breathing hard. He rested his forehead against hers.

"We can't keep doing this," she whispered, still breathless.

"Yes we can," he said with a low voice "Because we've already started."

She looked into his eyes and saw it clearly he wasn't playing a game Not anymore.

This wasn't a dare

This was REAL.

She slid off the wall, straightening her clothes with shaky hands. He watched her closely, reading every expression, every hesitation.

"I should go," she said.

He didn't stop her this time.

But as she reached the door, his voice stopped her cold.

"My birthday's next week," he said.

She turned. "So?"

"I'll be twenty-two Legal in every way and No excuses left."

Her breath caught.

"And I want you to come."

She blinked "To what? A party?"

"No," he said, eyes burning "To me."

Amara opened the door Her heart beat so loud she could barely hear his final words.

"I'll be waiting "

He stopped in front of her, close enough that she could feel the heat radiating from his body. His eyes, usually so playful, were dark, intense. He reached out, his fingers gently brushing a strand of hair away from her face.

"What do you want, Amara?" he whispered, his voice a low rumble.

She looked up at him, her heart pounding against her ribs. She wanted to run, to disappear, to rewind time to before she ever saw that note. But she also wanted to stay, to feel the way his gaze made her feel, to explore the dangerous path they were on.

"I... I don't know," she breathed, her voice barely audible.

He smiled, a slow, knowing curve of his lips. "You do. You just don't want to admit it."

He leaned closer, his hand now cupping her cheek. "Tell me."

She closed her eyes, the scent of him filling her senses. She could feel his breath on her skin, the warmth of his touch. She knew she should push him away, that this was wrong, that she was playing with fire. But the fire felt so good.

"I want this," she whispered, finally admitting the truth.

His smile widened. He lowered his head, his lips brushing against hers. It was a soft, hesitant touch at first, a question. But then, as she leaned into him, it deepened, becoming a hungry, desperate kiss.

The world around them seemed to fade away. The room, the school, the rules - all of it disappeared. There was only him, and her, and the electric current that now surged between them.

When they finally broke apart, they were both breathless.

"What now?" she asked, her voice trembling.

He looked at her, his eyes filled with a mix of desire and something else, something she couldn't quite decipher.

"Now," he said, his voice husky, "we see where this takes us."

He reached for her hand, his fingers interlacing with hers. And together, they took a step forward,
