Chapter 4 Painful Betrayal

Painful Betrayal.

Korrah's P.O.V.

"What's happening?"I asked Alpha Sun, who was stirring at me murderously.

"So you think that I would stoop so low in marrying you?. You of all people?. Who are you, and what do you think you have to offer to me?"He asked me in a mocking manner.

"What?. What are you talking about?. Are you the one saying this to me?"I asked in shock.

"Yes,I am. I have no idea for you, and you have no value to me"He responded.

"So, why did you get married to me in the first place?"I asked him. At this stage, my mind was feeling depressed, and my heart was broken, seeing that he had deceived me. Or did he?. I still need to watch closely at him. Especially his words.

Everything about him suddenly changed. He no longer sees me as that once loving young lady again. It was as if I was dreaming. However, I just wished that it doesn't turn out to be one because I won't ever forgive myself for being a fool to him.

"You fool. The wedding wasn't a real one. I faked everything. I also deceived you and your parents"He said to me, as he walked gently at my side. He looked at me from head to toe as if I meant nothing to him.

"Your sexy body was all I wanted. Nothing more. Now that I have gotten what I wanted, you can now go to hell for all I care"He added.

I turned straight to him, and tried landing a slap on his face,but two soldiers from my back, immediately cleared me down to the ground. I was full of pains. Although, I still find it difficult to believe his words. I spent a few seconds still lying on the ground, while watching him looking at me without having any feeling of compassion for me.

He looked at the moon, and did a heavy groan, sending a message to his enemies who were patiently waiting for him on the battlefield.

"I won't be joining you all in fighting Lycan Simon. He doesn't worth my time. I have told him countless times, to join us in order to move this realm forward, but he bluntly refused. He chose to rebel against Lycan Goliath and the rest of us, claiming that he is bringing liberation to the people. He is the only person that can convince the people of the 3rd Kingdom, to bow to us,but he refused.

However, he is the major reason behind this war. Just like I said, I won't be going to the battle ground with you soldiers. I have a second plan. You all should be strong. Kill everyone who would stand as an obstacle on your way. Lycan Simon's army is not many. They are not even strong. Just that he is a strong man, filled with war strategies and experiences"Alpha Sun administered to his soldiers.

He was too ambitious in getting power. He wasn't alone. He is in good relation with Lycan Goliath, and the both of them are the major orchestrators of this war.

"Your majesty. About twenty different packs are also engaging in this war. Thus, they have encamped their soldiers around the valley of Sodom. Based on this, what are we to do, and how are we to do it?"A certain lieutenant of the army asked him.

"Go to the war front my dear soldiers. Captain Bush is waiting for you people,along with some of my soldiers.Take orders from him. He will be your commander on the battlefield. Meanwhile,you all must be very careful while engaging in battle. Never underestimate the devices of your enemies. Lycan Simon is a very cunning man. Once we win this war, and succeed in eliminating him,we would have this whole entire realm all to ourselves. I shall make everyone of you proud, and we all shall reign at the right hand side of Lycan Goliath"Alpha Sun added.

"Your wish is my command"The lieutenant in charge of the troops responded.

"Also take this cursed lady with you people. Don't kill her. Just throw her in the midst of the battle ground. She will get pierced there"Alpha Sun ordered.

I was immediately lifted up by one soldier, who bound me both on my hands and legs, and threw me into a war chariot, where I was surrounded by bloody looking soldiers.

Few minutes later,all soldiers began to march, leaving the palace premises. Their horses and chariots ran as fast as possible, and all I could hear was the sound of trumpets signaling war and destruction.

We journeyed from the palace, down to the valley of Sodom, where the war was going on. It was a hectic journey that I regretted. I regret everything about it, right from when I decided to follow Alpha Sun to his palace. My world was entirely broken, seeing that I was deceived by him. My parents on the other hand, would be very disappointed to hear what my fate with Alpha Sun would eventually become. Wherever they are right now, I just felt pity for them because they would eventually be attacked by Alpha Sun, who has already informed me of what he intended to do to them, especially to my father.

Yes, he was right. My father was one of those kicking against his visions with Lycan Goliath, since they don't have any good or positive intention for all bloodlines. Even before I got married to him, my father was never in support of Alpha Sun and Lycan Goliath.

While I was in deep thought thinking about my parents, and how we were being deceived by the Alpha, a strong pause was felt around me. The chariots and horses where I was in, suddenly stopped. Everywhere was silent as a cemetery.

Meanwhile, I was still inside the chariot being bound by chains on my legs and hands. I couldn't say what was going on in the valley of Sodom.

Few minutes after the dead silence was observed, loud shouts and noises began to reign in our midst. The sounds of horses and shouts from soldiers were really disturbing. I could feel the transformation of men into their wolves. It was when I began to hear the clings and noises of swords hitting themselves, that I knew that there was a heavy war going on, on the surface. I guess we were ambushed by Lycan Simon and his men?. It was very terrible,hearing soldiers shouting and crying.

While I was still in the chariot, I saw streams of blood flying. Different blood from different soldiers also wetted me. I tried to find means of escaping out of the chariot,but it wasn't possible.

I tried to move my chained legs in order to have some convenience, but a strong force pushed the chariot, causing it to fall on the ground.

I was immediately covered by the iron wheel chariot. Few seconds later, someone lifted up the iron wheel that was on me. My whole body pained me.

As I opened my eyes to see the surface, I discovered that I was surrounded by some group of unknown soldiers. I looked into their midst, and saw a tall looking being, staring at me in great shock.
