Chapter 2 2

As night fell, the sun slowly gave way to the moon. The soldiers still swung their swords and attacked the witch. Nothing had changed other than the number of soldiers who had fallen. Some of the fallen had been replaced by new soldiers.

The witch seemed to have no weaknesses whatsoever. With such a large number of warriors she was able to fight the warriors alone. Just by swinging his magic wand he was able to subvert the soldiers.The king was stiffly silent, he saw all the soldiers who had died and some soldiers who were still fighting the witch. The king was getting more and more anxious to see the condition of his people. He noticed the stick that the witch was carrying. His attention was drawn to the staff. "That stick is the core," thought the king.The king watched the witch closely, he saw clearly that the witch never once let go of her wand. Every movement was a swing of the wand. "I know, I must destroy the staff as soon as possible. My soldiers have died too many times, it is impossible to make all my soldiers fight that witch," he said.The king advanced slowly, hiding behind the soldiers and quietly approached the witch. The king tried to make himself invisible to the witch. The king stared at the witch continuously while waiting for the right time to destroy the staff held by the witch.The witch is seen hiding the staff behind her body. While holding it, the witch fought with the warrior. The king who was watching waited patiently for the moment to fight the witch. The king spun around and took the witch's staff quickly. The witch turned her face as soon as she saw that her hands were empty.

Her ghastly face looked so angry. "Insolence!" said the witch. She immediately attacked the king. The king parried and lifted the witch's staff. "If you come any closer then I'll make sure this stick is destroyed," the king threatened the witch.

The wizard paused, he stopped his steps to see the staff held by the King.

"As expected, your strength lies in this stick, right?" The king chuckled.

"Don't underestimate me foolish king. You are no match for me. Have you forgotten what happened 30 years ago?" The witch warned.

"That is the past, and you do not need to bring up the past. For all the current witches are gone, and you are the last," said the King.

"For decades you have been hiding, and now we will not hide. You're wrong King, we never perished. We exist in this world, we are just waiting for that moment. The moment you were abandoned by your friends. Now you will have nothing. You are no longer protected by anyone," said the witch.

The witch looked at the distant palace, she squinted her eyes at the palace.

"Ah looks like your little princess is brave," he said.The king frowned. The witch took flight and floated in the sky. The people watched in amazement. They saw the witch heading in a certain direction.

"Princess..." shouted the few people there who saw the witch pulling the King's daughter.The witch violently threw the princess' body to the ground.

"Don't touch my daughter!" The king warned the witch.

"I warned you from the beginning, King," the witch replied.The witch pulled roughly on the princess's long flowing hair.

"Sweet girl, aren't you too beautiful to be that king's daughter?" said the witch.

"Keep your hands off my daughter!" The king shouted once more.

"Ah, your voice makes my ears itch," the witch pricked her ears with her long black fingernails.

"Please," the princess moaned in pain.The grip on her hair was so tight that her head seemed to be about to break.

"If you don't remove your hand I'll make sure your staff is destroyed in front of you," threatened the King again.

The witch saw her wand about to be broken, she grunted in annoyance. He threw the princess roughly and she bounced away. The soldiers rushed to the princess. They helped the princess and protected her by building a fence. Meanwhile, the witch approached the king suddenly. The surprised king raised the wand he was holding and was about to break it. Unfortunately, the witch was faster and made the king fall down along with the wand. The king quickly tried to grab the stick that fell on the ground. Unfortunately, the witch was a split second faster.

She grinned at the king. "You're finished," said the witch.

"No. !!!!" The Princess shouted, extending her hand towards the King.

With her power, the witch knocked the king to the ground several times. She pulled the King's robe until it was torn in several places. The king groaned in pain, his legs were scratched to the point of cuts and blood. The king tried to fight back but again the witch thwarted him.The soldiers did not remain silent, they tried to attack the witch but unfortunately they were no match for the witch. Meanwhile in the distance the Queen was riding her horse wearing war clothes. She drove her horse so fast. The Queen shot an arrow towards the witch. The witch who realized immediately parried the Queen's attack by slamming the horse she was riding. The city was in a terrible state, so many buildings were destroyed. The people in hiding were increasingly frightened by the state of their leader.

"Let him go!" The Queen shouted as she pulled an arrow at the witch.

"Hello My Queen," said the witch.The Queen walked up to the witch, she looked at the King who was lying helplessly.

"You perished a long time ago," said the Queen.

The witch shook her head, "No dear," she said.

"Go," said the Queen once again.The witch laughed as she pulled at the King's robe, the King was completely limp. Many parts of his body were injured. A lot of blood stained his clothes.

"There's one game I haven't shown you yet," said the witch. She held her neck looking for the necklace she was wearing. She rubbed the necklace several times. She closed her eyes and chanted an incantation.Without further ado, the Queen shot straight at the witch. Right in the witch's stomach the arrow was stuck. The witch was just silent, she chanted even though her mouth was bleeding black blood. The queen took out another arrow, she shot at the witch again. Two arrows pierced the witch's body perfectly. But suddenly the sky turned dark. Black clouds seemed to gather and surround the entire city. The queen looked confused, she looked at the sky and her surroundings.

"This time I will destroy everything like before," said the witch.

The witch released several arrows that were perfectly stuck in her body. She released them without any pain. The birds began to arrive, the crows dominating the most. They numbered in the hundreds, invading the city and clinging to buildings. It was as if they were human.

"My friends, let us finish what was left undone," the wizard raised his wand to the sky and let the lightning strike.

"Hey Stupid King!!!!! Hand over the necklace right now!" The witch gave the King a sharp look.

Instantly some birds turned into witches. So many witches flew in the sky. They seemed to surround the city.So many people were frightened. They were crying and very afraid to face the witches.

"We will die," said one of the people with fear."I won't just hand it over," the King replied with a limp and in pain.

Her eyes glanced at her son standing in the distance. The witch realized what the King was thinking. She hurriedly flew to the Princess.

Princess who saw the situation around her was so restless. She didn't know what to do. She really didn't have any strength. She didn't even have the talent to fight. She bit her lip. She closed her eyes and tried to remember if there was anything she could do. At least she could be useful despite having nothing special or powerful.

"No-no, I have to do something. My country will be wiped out instantly at this rate," he thought to himself.
