Chapter 4 She Is Our Mate

Daniel's POV

"What do you mean she is your mate?" I asked David, the youngest among us triplet, with a placid expression on my face.

He had gone with Damien, the eldest among us on a mission in the Fiery Fang pack the night before.

David came back early and he had this blonde green eyed beauty with him, and now my wolf has chosen her for me as a mate.

"I found her, and my wolf chose her for me as a mate... what's so hard to understand there?" David asked me and it only infuriated me the more.

"Well then, let her choose between us," I said and shoved him aside.

My jaw dropped when my gaze fell on the empty car, "Where is she?"

David bent down and looked in the car and he balled his fist in anger the moment he realized she wasn't there.

The door on the other side of the car was open and she had run away from there.

David gritted his teeth and pushed me.

I worriedly looked around but there was no sign of her.

I took to my heels and raced inside the woods, leaving David standing there.

I turned back to see him fist his hair in frustration and sat on the bumper of his car.

It was late at night when I got back home, I found David pacing the corridor waiting for me.

"Daniel, did you see her?" He asked with so much hope in his voice.

I looked away in sadness and the look in my eyes gave him the answer.
