Chapter 2 Alana Is In Trouble!

Alana's POV

TWO WEEKS LATER

I thought my life was over that night. I was at crossroads and I cried my eyes out as I thought of the next course of action, but nothing came to mind.

As I went about looking for jobs, a man and a woman approached me. I stood a couple meters away from a nightclub and I didn't even realize it.

At first I went ballistic on them for sneaking up on me but relaxed when I saw that they meant no harm, except I wasn't prepared for what they had the audacity to say to me.

"Excuse me?" Colour immediately drained from my face.

"You want me to work in your night club as a stripper?" I blinked and my nostrils flared.

I was so offended.

The woman walked up to me and lowered her voice into a conspiratorial whisper.

"You don't have to if you don't want to, but come whenever you change your mind. You clearly need it."

She made a gesture with her hands, as if trying to show me how unkempt I looked.

"Let's help each other. Look at how beautiful you are underneath. Look at your amazing body. Don't miss out on this opportunity."

Her smile immediately sharpened as she was waiting for a reply.

The man kept checking me out as she spoke and It disgusted me.

"I'm not interested!" I yelled in anger, dismissing them.

I stormed off and headed back to the hotel room that night but on my way, I got a call from the hotel. Apparently, my sister had been rushed to the hospital.

Sprinting like crazy, I arrived to see that her condition had worsened. Even with the treatment, she wasn't getting better and I couldn't afford any other treatment.

As I painfully watched her take what would've been her last breaths, I remembered the only option I had.

Rushing back to the nightclub that night, I approached the lady and she offered me a quick job.

That's how we got here. Now, I was giving men lap dances, dancing practically naked and giving them private dances for a living.

...........

If only I knew my life would take a turn for the worst tonight, I would've never come to work.

After my second task for the night, I was ordered to dance on a pole for some rich men that came in a couple of minutes ago.

My shamelessness had worn off over the past couple of days, especially since I was money driven and I wasn't the most exposed among my fellow colleagues.

I scurried into the main lounge, incredibly timid and I forced my hands to stop shaking. I was about to strip dance for a group of shameless men.

I refused to look up, so I climbed the pole and began my seductive routine. I couldn't wait for it to be over. With the dark red and blue lights, it was easier, so instead of closing my eyes like I initially wanted to, I stared back at them, but I suddenly felt a shiver run through my body.

Frozen on the spot, I immediately climbed down from the pole. My eyes were fixed on the eyes of the man that I feared the most in my entire life. His gaze pierced my soul.

Ryan Kelsey. My high school bully.

What was he doing here? I took a couple of steps back in disbelief, and I pressed a hand over my temple to calm down.

He was already staring at me with bloodshot eyes before I saw him, so it was clear that he had already seen me.

I had sleepless nights because of him and I thought I would never have to see him again after we graduated, but there he was.

He was dressed in a sky blue suit. He looked incredibly expensive. Well, he was a rich heir then, so maybe he had finally become the CEO like he always talked about when he bullied me?

I watched his lustful gaze scan the full length of me. It made me uncomfortable and I couldn't stand it.

I immediately ran out, towards my locker so I could get the hell out of there, but he stood up and chased after me like the monster that he was.

I almost made it in before he grabbed me suddenly and pushed me inside a dark corner of the club. He towered over me after grabbing both hands and placing them over my head. Harsh air wheezed in and out of my lungs in an erratic rhythm.

"Alana Petrova. What a pleasant surprise." His grin didn't reach his eyes.

"Let go of me." I cried out, glaring at him. I put on a brave front, acting like I wasn't the same timid girl from seven years ago, but I still was, and he noticed it under my icy exterior.

"Why did you run away? It's been seven years. Don't tell me I still make you scared. Don't tell me you still think about me when you touch yourself." He smirked, grabbing a handful of my ass.

"I said let go of me!" I yelped, half afraid, half suddenly turned on by his touch. I hated myself the most.

"What if I say no? See that? You can't do anything but let me corner you like the little slut that you are." His eyes glistened in the dark like a predator. It was clear that over the years, he still hasn't changed a bit.

"I'm not a slut!" I covered my fear with a snarl.

Looking down at my exposed breasts, his expression was a mix of mockery and disbelief.

"You still want to deny that?" He let out a smile that knocked my socks off. I practically melted.

"What do you want?" My heart hammered in my chest, trying my best to fight him off. He was right, I forgot him, but I still thought of him anytime I touched myself. He was my first love, but he was also the person I hated the most.

"I want you to tell me why you're dancing here." His hands let go of my ass and began to rise up from my waist, then on my exposed back. He ran his hands through it in a stimulating motion.

There was no way he didn't know what he was doing to my heart as I felt everything.

"It's none of your business." I choked out a reply. I already felt wet in my panties. One look in his eyes, and I knew he knew too.

"Alana! Where the hell is that wench!"

We both heard the voice of the woman that gave me the job. It startled me immediately and I used all my might to push him off me.

"Alana is in trouble." He smirked and walked away.

The woman approached me, face contorted with rage and she dropped a hard slap across my face.

Just before I could question her, she pressed my cheeks in with another one.

"How dare you!" She thundered, her eyes glistened with pure rage.

"But I don't understand–"

"Shut up your bloody wretched mouth! You stole from me, didn't you? Twenty thousand dollars! Where is it?"

"Why would i–"

"I said, where is it?" This time a crowd gathered and the whole club became rowdy. Everyone wanted to witness my false accusation.

"Arrest this bitch! Until you provide my money, you will forever rot in prison!"

Just then, police officers cuffed me and dragged me out, despite my pleas. I couldn't believe that my boss would do that to me.

Stepping out of the club, I locked eyes with Tony. It finally made sense. I broke into a fit of silent sobs as I got bundled into the police car.

He did this. He was going to follow me everywhere.

Because I broke up with him, he was going to ruin my life.
