"You know I have a job to do, Caspian. I'm already late, I need to get ready for work," I said softly, standing up from the bed. As I stood, my hair covered my face, and I had to wiggle before I was able to see.
Caspian crossed his leg on the bed, staring at me as he said, "You have to creat some time for your husband. I need you more than that stupid job of yours," Caspian spat, narrowing his eyes with a deep sigh.
"If I don't work, how can we pay the rent and also feed ourselves? Remember that you don't work anymore, and you are not ready to get yourself any job," I replied with a grin.
Caspian currently doesn't work because his last job was a mess. That was what he said, according to him. Well, he didn't clarify what happened that led to him being dismissed, and I didn't bother to ask because I was trying to avoid any argument that could lead to another thing.
Caspian is a sweet man, one of the best wishes God has granted me. He cooks and mostly takes me out, even though it's with my card he uses to pay for the bill, but I don't mind because I love him. Him remaining the sweet man is what I had always wanted.
I went to the bathroom and got a shower, after that I put on my dress getting ready to headout. I picked up my ID card and dipped it into my bag. I held my car key in my hands, then walked to the door. I turned to look at Caspian so I could say something sweet before heading out, but he was already staring at me with his charming eyes. His stare alone made me want to rush and suck those lips of his, but I couldn't. If I kept missing work, I might get fired. I had received multiple warnings from my boss, and if I missed this last time, I would definitely be dismissed for real.
"I know you want it. Come over here, I want to suck you open," Caspian said, licking his lips, his tongue touching his nose, his fingers gesturing for me to come over.
"Forget about it, Caspian. We can have the whole night to spend together when am back, and we can do whatever we want. Goodbye," I replied smiling, which made Caspian huff with narrowed eyes as he looked away before I walked out and closed the door.
I got in my car, and within a few minutes, I was now in the Clinton company where I worked, located in the heart of the city of Chicago-the best place anyone would loves to work in. I got into the floor, then ascended on the elevator to my office.
Getting inside my office, I dropped my bag on the table, then sat on my soft chair. Looking at the paperwork I had to work on, I inhaled deeply, then exhaled with a sigh.
"This would be stressful," I muttered, my voice low as I humped.
I began working on the papers, my laptop at my right hand side while I input some digits into it. While working, my door swung open, and looking at the person standing in front of it, I narrowed my eyes with a gasp. She's here to distract me again. It was because of her gist I was not able to finish up the paperwork yesterday, and now am left with it to finish up today.
"Jessica, it's you again. Don't bring that sweet gist of yours please. It was because of it I am still stuck with this paperwork," I spoke in a wistful voice, looking at Jessica standing, her hands folded against her chest as she let out a taunting smile. Seeing that smile, I knew it was another unresistable gist she had for me, which I can't push my ears away from.
"So what do you have this time?" I asked, narrowing my eyes. "Get inside. You can't keep standing there staring at me like a clown," I added, with a jock as I smirked.
Jessica chuckled, then came close and sat on the chair opposite me. "It's nice seeing you this morning, and I'm here to tell you something very important," Jessica said, desperate, grinning.
"So what exactly do you want to tell me, that's so important as you say?" I asked, raising one of my brows, my cheek relaxing on my hands as I got curious to listen to what Jessica had to say.
"Okay, this is it," Jessica paused, adjusting herself on the chair, her hands on the desk as she stared deep into me. "Remember I told you something about the CEO, right? And how mean and ruthless he was, but still one of the cutest guys I had ever seen? Well, there's good news for you about him. And that good news is that his coming today properly to sigh some document, using this opportunity you can see him since your curiosity couldn't let you rest. Well I got the information from Rowan," jessica added, exhaling with a smile, while picking at her nails.
Well, to be sincere, since the day Jessica showed me Orion picture on her phone, I had always wanted to meet him in person. He's so cute. His brown blunt hair, blue ocean eyes made me very anxious. At least I want to see who people fear the most and talk bad about. With such cuteness, I doubt what everyone says about his personality is true.
