Chapter 4 My worse nightmare

LEENA'S POV

Zack's words rang out in my ears through out the rest of the occasion. I had not expected anything less from him. I knew that this relationship was going to be my torture. Yet, I did not know exactly how far he was willing to go to make life miserable for me. I pretended as much as o could through out the reception dinner. I was the perfect bride, wearing fake smiles and being courteous towards everyone. All the while I walked about, my eyes twitched. I knew something was wrong somehow. It was obvious that I was either going to be embarrassed by Zack, or perhaps something a bit more intense was going to happen. But that was fine, I am Leena Davis, and standing strong in the face of difficulties is my greatest strength. "Leena! Wow, finally, you and Zack got married. Isn't that nice? I mean from the way you used to leech all over him back in school, it was obvious to everyone that you just wanted him for yourself. I guess you can never be too wrong about a desperate woman." Linda said. Linda, Zack's High school ex-girlfriend. How was I not surprised that his exes had been invited to the wedding. I stood still in front of her while she spoke inaudibly to me because I had effortfully tuned her out. My eyes searched the room for the man of the hour, but he was nowhere to be found. Few moments ago, I had seen him flirting with a girl at the bar, but now, he was no longer there, and neither was the girl. I turned away from Linda, as though she had not been there at all or even spoken to me. "Leena darling, why are you looking around so stressed? The guests are becoming tired and asking questions. Where is Zack?" Karina, Zack's older sister asked me. I looked around nervously, tired, unsure of what was going on or where he could have gone. I was not surprised that he was with a girl, but he would not have left the house without telling anyone, would he? At lease not while he knew there were a lot of people just waiting for the ceremony of the cake to take place. "I don't know, Karina. I haven't seen him. I have been searching all over for him but to no avail." I replied. Worry and anxiety began to fill my head. I was not going to be embarrassed like this in front of all these people, now was I? "What do you mean you can't find him? He was supposed to be with you? What is really going on with you two?" She asked me. I did not look at her or respond. I simply allowed my eyes continue to roam. Zack was really going to do this to me. I called his phone severally but he didn't pick up. On the sixth call, he switched off his phone. I paced around the hall lile a mad woman who had lost her cat. Karina searched the entire house, while guests stopped me occasionally to say hi to me I smiled for the cameras which surrounded me. The daughter of a billionaire and the son of a billionaire were getting married, of course the press had surrounded everywhere. Journalists had surrounded the entire building and I stood there, in my wedding dress, nervous and alone. I saw my Father heading for the entrance and immediately ran up to him, hoping he could help me figure this out. "Father! Father! There is..." "Baby girl, I am so sorry right now, but I have to leave. I just received an emergency call from the office and I am certain your reception will go beautifully well. Hey, look at me, look at me." He said cradling my face in his hands. "The worse is over, okay? You have gotten married now and the deal will be sealed. I love you." He kissed my forehead and rushed off, without listening to a word I had to say. I let out deep gasps of air, as my lungs suddenly filled with it. The rush was inevitable, and I knew that if I did not control my thoughts, I would have an attack, and I did not want that to happen. I stepped aside, and calmed my nerve. "You can handle this, everything is settled." I whispered to myself." "It is time for the bride and Groom to cut the cake!" Those words. At the sound of those words, I immediately panicked. Luckily for me, Karina handled everything, she made up some excuse that settled the cutting of the cake, and that was how the rest of the night went easily. For the rest of the night, I did not set my eyes on Zack. I let out a huge sigh as I watched the decorators pack up their items. Tears welled up in my eyes as I thought about how horribly the one most special day in a woman's life had gone for me. This was supposed to be my special day. My one fairytale moment, but I had lost that as well. As if it wasn't bad enough that my best friend now considered me his mortal enemy. "Hey Leena, you should go get some rest. I believe Zack would be at the hotel probably waiting for you. I know my brother, he can be a little bit out of sorts some times, but he wouldn't miss a good night with a beautiful woman." She said to me. I almost scoffed out loud. Had i simply been reduced to a good night? I did not respond. Instead I quietly nodded at her and went outside to where my driver had parked the car, and stood waiting for me. Just like father had said, I believed the worse was over. All I had to do now was return to the hotel and get some rest. Even if it was just for tonight, but I did not expect that my nightmare was yet to be over. The first thing I perceived was the intense smoke coming from underneath the room door, and as I got closer to the door, I heard moaning sounds from outside the hotel door, but I wasn't sure what was going on, until I pushed the door. I waved the clouds of smoke away, as I held my hands to my nose, and then I saw them. She was riding him like a horse. "Yes! Yes! Harder baby! Yes! I'm coming baby! Yes!" Kara shouted. Zack had his hands on her breasts, moaning and enjoying the feel of her. His eyes met with mine, and that was when I saw it, a dreadful look in his eyes that sent shivers down my body ... Satisfaction.
