Chapter 1 AMBUSHED

'Emily, Emily'...

I heard my name as someone kept jerking me.

'Mmmh'..I moaned slowly..

'Wake up plea~see'.. and just with that my eyes flinched open.

'Mom?, mom what's wrong?.. why are you crying?..

'Emily, Now!!.. she shouted..

I didn't need to ask again as I got the idea. Something was wrong, something bad was happening. I just woke up, and was still trying to process what was going on but mom kept dragging and begging me to move faster and I was trying so hard to keep up with her...

'Oh my~God. Mom??, mom what's happening?'I asked as we stopped to look around tears rolling down my face.

Fire!!, there was fire everywhere, our pack's house and other houses around were on fire. I could see our pack members running around trying to put off the fire while others tried to save those that were stucked inside..

I stood there frozen as tears kept flowing down my cheeks profusely.

'Emily let's go, we have to find your father and brother'

I snapped out of my thoughts with just the thought of my father and brother getting hurt. With that,we kept moving trying to find my father and brother, I knew it wasn't going to be easy.. My father was the Alpha of our pack and he was definitely going to be somewhere helping the rest of our pack members.

'Riley', I heard someone yell mom's name and I knew exactly who owned that voice..

'Dad?', it was my father's..

'Riley, leave with Eleanor, she's with Matteo'

'Go, now!!', he shouted due to mom's hesitation..

And that was the last time I saw my father, it was the last time I looked at him..

Eleanor was our beta's mate and she was with my brother, Matteo.

With the help of some of our Pack' s soldiers we escaped through a secret route and went into hiding..

I remember the silent cries from my mom, Eleanor, Matteo and other of our Pack members who escaped too..

That night was definitely the worst night of my life..

The next morning, mom, Eleanor and some of our pack members went to check on our pack house and that was when our beautiful lives came to an end..

It turned out that the fire wasn't just any normal fire, we were attached by another pack and they burned down our pack's house.

My dad was killed alongside our beta and a lot of our pack members.

We were left with 10 of our pack members who survived that night.

It was the end of our pack 'RIVER ASH PACK'.
