Chapter 3 Blair's makeover

He placed his two arms by the two corners of Blair's chair and bent a little bit as he stared down at me, his shirt wasn't fully buttoned, so Blair could see directly inside his chest.

He started speaking to her, but she wasn't listening because she was fully concentrating on his really hard, good looking abs, Blair could hardly breathe as she began shaking due to nervousness.

He noticed how tense Blair was feeling and decided to take a step back just to cool her from the tension and then spoke again, but this time, he said; Are you here to apply for a job or to see me.

Blair replied "uhm, yes sir, I came to apply for the personal assistant job and I can assure you my documents are complete so if you can please speak to your boss about accepting me, I'd really appreciate that.

Immediately after Blair was done speaking, there was a sound silence as everyone stared at Blair in despair, she paused for a bit as she examined herself to check if there was an issue with her outfit but didn't find anything wrong.

She turned as she asked the stranger; why are they all glaring at me?

He responded; I guess it's because you just asked the CEO of this prestigious company to speak to his boss about employing you.

Blair gave him a look of confusion as he proceeded-It seems like I haven't introduced myself, I beg your pardon. My name is Arthur Luca and I'm currently the CEO of this company which makes me in charge of everything in this building, so if you don't mind, I'd like to be given my respect.

Blair looked so embarrassed and flabbergasted as she stared at Mr.Arthur in despair.

She finally spoke after realizing her mistake; so sorry sir for having to disrespect you in such an awkward way, it's just that I never thought that.....

You never expected a young, good looking man like myself to run this company? Arthur asked.

Blair struggled to speak as she said; I'm really sorry sir, I didn't mean it that way and I understand if you don't want me to work for you, I will just take my leave now.

There will be no need for that, can I take a look at your papers?

Without hesitating, Blair handed her papers to Mr.Arthur, he opened them and then examined them.

In less than a minute, he handed Blair back her papers with a grin on his face. Blair couldn't help but blush a little.

Blair huh, that's your name, such a nice name for such a gorgeous, clumsy creature, you are hired, work starts tomorrow. He said as he sat down on another bench close to the one she was seated on.

Blair was stunned, she never expected to get the job, but she did. So she stood up as she made her way to the exit when she heard Mr.Arthur's voice saying "Blair, pls wash yourself up and put on something nice, anyone without a standard dress is not qualified to be my PA".

"Okay sir" she said as she exited the company.

Before heading home, Blair branched a chemist shop not really far from the company.

Entering the chemist shop, she bumped into someone who was already taking his leave. She instantly started apologizing as she fixed her glasses in her eyes so she could get a better picture of who she bumped into.

She had finally positioned her glasses into her eyes and then looked up. She saw someone who looked almost exactly as her new boss except his beards were shaved.

"Mr.Arthur, when did you get here? Blair asked.

The supposed "Mr.Arthur" started giggling as he said; I see you've met my elder brother, I'm Adrian, nice to meet you, what's your name and how did you know my elder brother?

Blair was stunned about the striking resemblance of these two brothers.

"Hi, I'm Blair, I just got employed at your brother's company as his personal assistant and I resume work tomorrow" Blair said.

Adrian smirked at her as he said; you work at our company, huh, meaning we are gonna be seeing each other often, pretty cool.

Blair thought to herself; both brothers have steeze but Adrian's steeze and composure needs to be studied.

Adrian continued saying; Can I have your number, I could give you some secret tips on how to dress and look the standard that my brother would want. Are you down?

Blair was shocked to find out that her boss' brother was such a sweetheart who offered to help her look good for her first day at work. Arthur had seemed really sweet at first, but to Blair, as they met officially and spoke at his company, Arthur spoke like a jerk.

So to discover that Arthur's younger brother was such a darling was really good.

"Heck ya" Blair responded.

Hearing Blair's response, Adrian brought out his phone and handed it over to Blair in order to collect her number.

Blair collected the phone and dialed her number.

Blair was trying her best not to embarrass herself and it seemed like it worked.

They said their goodbyes and Blair took a step into the pharmacy, but clumsiness refused to allow Blair to have a good time without tripping.

Unfortunately for Blair, she had tripped over nothing and then fell to the floor right in front of the entrance.

Luckily for her, Adrian had already left so she didn't feel too embarrassed. She proceeded to buy her mom's drugs and headed home.

When she got home, she found her mom sitting on the couch crying. Immediately her mom noticed that Blair was back, she started cleaning her tears 'cuz didn't want Blair to see her crying but Blair already did.

"Mom, what happened, are you okay?" Blair asked.

Her mom replied; Nothing my love, did you get the job?

Yes I did, but my new boss seems a little grumpy but the pay is good and I'm gonna have to resume tomorrow but I'm gonna need a makeover.

Blair's phone started ringing and it was an unknown number. "That must be Adrian, he must be ready" she thought.

She picked the call and as she expected, it was Adrian.

He asked her to meet him in a really prestigious unisex salon for her makeover.

"I'm really sorry mom, I have to go, I will speak to you immediately I get back, I love you" Blair said as she pecked her mom and ran off.

Adrian was already waiting for Blair in the salon, so he had already booked her appointment for the makeover.

Blair was stunned that such a rich, handsome man could pay attention to a lowlife like herself.

Suddenly, a young woman brought a paper and asked Blair to sit and take a look. The paper contained a catalogue of their services and the bills.

"I can't afford this, it's way too expensive, I'll just go to a place that I can afford" Blair said.

Adrian replied; I know you can't afford it, that's why I'm paying for it and right now as we speak, the bills are already paid for, so all you have to do is to sit back and enjoy your makeover. And before you ask, trust me there are no attachments, consider this as my way of welcoming you to my family's company so go ahead and proceed with your makeover so we can be able to go shopping.

Blair was shocked to learn that a really prestigious heart rob like Adrian would willinglingly do this for her. But still, she went with the flow.

Blair stepped out of the makeup room looking really gorgeous, she was no longer on glasses but on contact lenses and her hair was neatly done, her makeup was done perfectly and she looked really hot.

Adrian couldn't help but smile.

They went shopping, Adrian paid for everything she bought, if Blair was to pay for that, she would've gone bankrupt and will have to sell their apartment just to have to clear the bills.

Blair was beyond grateful that Adrian did this much for her.

"Now, I'd like to see how Mr.Arthur would react to his personal assistant being this gorgeous, he'd be shocked that the clumsy girl can be this gorgeous and it's all thanks to Adrian" Blair thought to herself.

They said their goodbyes and Blair returned home.

The night went by quickly and before you know it, it was morning.

Blair put in all her best to look really good on her first day at work and her mission was accomplished 'cuz she looked so classy and pretty.

Blair walked into the company feeling really confident and beautiful because she knew she looked good.

Her first task of the day arrived soon after, she was asked to arrange some documents for Mr.Arthur and take it to his office.

Blair entered Arthur's office feeling really nervous and handed the papers to him. Arthur looked at Blair and gasped, he couldn't concentrate on the paperwork because he was distracted by Blair's gorgeousness.
