I was dumbstruck as I allowed her press her body against mine. No resistance whatsoever.
"What's wrong?" she asked in a very low tone that I strained to hear her amidst the running shower.
I nodded sideways as she rubbed me down to where I had my towel placed. She took it off and began fondling my already semi hard penis to till she had me stretched to my full length.
With a devious smirk, she teased me by kissing the tip that I didn't know that I had been holding my breath the entire time. She licked the tip again but from the under this time that I jerked back. She stroked for some time with her soft hands before taking it all in her mouth.
Her head swung back and forth, working her tongue all over me that I didn't know when I held her head while thrusting my hip slowly.
Carmen sprung up in my mind but I swept it off as I watched Anya's glossy lips grip me nice while she held eye contact. I pulled her face up for a deep kiss that she let out a moan. I faced her toward the lather stained tiled walls as she bit her lips. It seemed she enjoyed the fact that I took control now as she pushed her hips back, awaiting penetration.
I pulled her close as I slipped inside her. She was tighter but not as wet as Carmen. I didn't believe I was comparing them both. She let out a gasp as I cleared the stray wet hair that glued on to her face that I caught her eyes rolling back. I went back slowly and shoved back in harder.
"Mm-hmm," she moaned as water poured down her slender body while I continued thrusting back and forth, slamming into her as the bathroom echoed.
I grabbed her neck from behind as I slowed down. I heard my phone ring. Was that Carmen? I thought to myself.
Anya stopped as she led me to the bed. Our bodies were dripping with soaked water as we mounted the bed, Anya going on all fours. I knelt behind her, going inside her again, forcing a gasp out of her.
I continued from where Ieft off in the shower, bouncing myself on the bed. I pulled her hair and got even aggressively for a couple more minutes.
"Oh!" Anya shrieked as she squirted all over the place, on me and the sheet but I didn't mind being that I was about to peak. I ejaculated inside her and the collapsed on the bed.
I felt warm water trickle down my body as I laid down.
"You fuck so well," she said, positioning herself to lay down beside me in a cuddle.
"Mm," I replied as I her close to me. It was a compliment I had gotten from every girl I've been with and I still didn't have an actual response yet.
We laid beside each other in silence for a moment, sharing warmth in the damp sheets.
"Bon?" Anya called.
"Mm?" I answered, half asleep.
"Do you like me?" she asked.
I wasn't ready for that conversation.
"Yes," I answered as she ran her fingers across my scarred torso.
"Do you love me?" she asked again.
I didn't answer. I pretended to be asleep.I wasn't going to deal with that.
"Bon?" she called.
I didn't answer.
She stopped moving and then I knew she had laid the question to rest.
I liked her, yes. I wasn't sure about love. There were many other women in my life that always asked me the same question but somehow I felt the only person I loved was Carmen. Even though I wasn't loyal, and she knew that but she still stuck around. She always had my best interest at heart. She was like the mother I never had but in a romantic wholesome dynamic.
Her call flashed to my mind as I wondered what she wanted to say. I drifted off to sleep into the quiet night.
I was chased. I ran through the bushes as I tripped on a rock, tumbling down a small hill. I hit the bottom as I looked up to the people who were in a hot pursuit. I couldn't tell who they were but I knew they belonged to a mafia group. I've spent way too long in the business to be able to tell if someone was involved in a crime group and guess what part they played. I continued running further away from my chasers who weren't stopping either until I reached a steep cliff.
There was nowhere to turn to as my supposed enemies approached. I happened to be holding something; a neck chain that had a symbol of a rune at the end.
"Bon," I called after I figured Bon wasn't with me. How was that even possible, I asked myself as I stared at the chain in my hand that began glowing.
The men approached. One of them was Enzo.
He stopped in front of me and pointed a gun at me.
"Lorenzo, what is going on?" I asked, trying to read the expression on his face.
"Cursed," Enzo said, pulling the trigger.
I hit the floor after the gun went off and then I woke up from sleep.
I wondered what the dream was all about as I turned to Anya beside me who was sound asleep.
I grabbed my phone on the drawer. 3:23am.
I turned on the lamp as I rose up found my way to the window. I was dark and cold outside.
My eyes caught my canvas. I turned on the lamp nearby that illuminated my painting space. I had gotten it specifically for that purpose.
I stood in front of my easel examining my old paintbrush as I held my palette up while lowering myself to the stool. The paints were looking dried. Just as I dipped the brush into the palette and brought it up against the clean white paper, I paused.
I changed my mind.
I dropped everything I was holding, picked my coloured pencil and I began scribbling on the paper. I worked on the piece for over an hour until I finished, blowing off remnants of coloured graphite off the paper.
It was a 3D painting of the amulet. It had a thick chain that could be hung around the neck with something like a large curved shark tooth that had some kind of nub on it at the end. I made sure to add detail to every part of the drawing, highlighting the glow that came out of it.
"What is this?" I asked.
Bon grunted.
"What?"
"How did you find out about Karnyx's Fang?" Bon ignored my question by asking another.
"Is that what this is?" I asked, impressed with myself that I had drawn and painted it so well that he knew exactly what it was. "Is that a demon?"
"Karnyx isn't a demon," Bon began. "It's a primordial entity that existed out of a universe and somehow found its way to the underworld."
I was mute.
"The faceless titan had a mouth that opened across its chest. It took a dozen of the strongest gods to take one down. But I alone, and an army of lesser demons managed to take it down," Bon continued. "I had its fang stuck in my flesh so I had it forged and enchanted to make me more powerful."
The lights in the room fluctuated and came back to normal as I tried to process what Bon had just narrated. Each time I thought there was nothing more powerful than Bon, I always got proven wrong one way or the other. From other higher ranking demons, to gods, fallen angels and now Karnyx.
"How did you find out about it?" Bon asked again.
"I saw it in my dream," I replied glancing at Anya, hoping she wasn't eavesdropping on my conversation with myself. "I was being chased and it just appeared in my hands."
I left out the part that he wasn't there.
Bon grunted.
"Could it be that it has found its way here to Earth? Karnyx's Fang," I specified, imagining such creature that gods struggled to get rid off here on Earth where we puny humans lived.
"I don't know," Bon replied slowly. He seemed to be thinking. "I lost Karnyx's Fang in the fight against Kal'Thuun and the others,"
"Maybe Varethor brought it along with him," I suggested.
"Very unlikely," Bon rejected. "No one can wield Karynx's Fang except the one who it was enchanted for."
I sighed, stealing a glance at Anya who had yawned.
He was quiet. It clearly was a big deal for him. So was the dream for me.
I stood up from the stool. I was heading to bed again. There was something about art and painting that always relaxed me and put me to ease even after the most daunting situations.
I laid gently beside Anya, making sure not to wake her up as I felt a proper wave of tiredness wash over me. She had no clue what was going on. I even had no clue even though it was my dream.
I woke up to the sound of a zip. Anya was dressing up.
"I thought you were an early bird," Anya said as she put on her boots.
I grunted, wiping my blurry eyes. She didn't know I had been awake at night and was even awake to watch her leave.
"You did this?" she asked, nodding at the drawing.
"Mm-hmm," I replied. It was too early to be talking. I never felt like talking during the mornings as I sat up at the edge of the bed with a foggy head. I clearly needed more sleep.
"Are you okay?" Anya asked.
"Mm-hmm," I nodded as I reached to open the fridge. There was nothing in it.
"I drank the last Red Bull," Anya said after noticing that I froze there probably thinking how my energy drink disappeared overnight.
I tried to hide my disappointment as I slumped back on the bed. My mind went back to Carmen. She'd have had a cup of coffee ready for me first thing in the morning if she woke up before me. And maybe breakfast after.
Yeah, I probably couldn't do without Carmen. Not because she did all those me but because I was too lazy or busy to do anything for myself. She always took care of me.
"Are you coming around today?" Anya asked with a pursed lip as she applied red lipstick.
"Mm-mm," I nodded sideways as it dawned on me that Carmen wouldn't ask me these much questions anytime I woke up.
"Are you okay?" she asked again, walking over to where I laid, her bright red lipstick popping out in harmony with the ray of morning sun that crept into the room as she stooped over me to get a good look at her face.
"I'm fine," I replied finally, hoping my morning breath wasn't that bad.
"Enzo called," she said, as she stood erect.
I didn't say anything. I suspected it'd be information about the crop theft issue.
"Why's he calling?" she asked.
I knew she was going to ask. Everyone wanted to know my business with Enzo. He was too much of an important man to be curious about. And I was his one of his right hand men.
"It's confidential," I answered even though it wasn't just to save myself having to explain the entire situation.
"I'm guessing Carmen's is confidential too," Anya said with a tingle of disgust in her voice.
"Yes," I replied dryly. It was obvious she knew who Carmen was.
She didn't say anything as she left, slamming the door behind her.
After a few minutes after I was sure she has gone, I stretched to grab my phone.
A couple missed calls from Carmen. And just one from Enzo.
