Rania never imagined she would be living in such a grand and luxurious mansion.
The building was modern and elegant-completely different from the house she lived in just yesterday.
Kenzo kept his promise; he provided her with the best facilities.
Rania got out of bed and walked toward the window. She looked around, everything felt different-like stepping into another world.
So this is what it feels like to be the wife of a billionaire, even though she was just a secretary at her ex-fiancé's company.
Her life had changed for the better. Even if this marriage was only temporary, Rania had no reason to regret it. She might as well enjoy it while waiting for the time to leave.
A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts as a female servant entered the room.
"Good morning, Mrs. Adithya. Breakfast has been prepared on the back terrace."
"I'll get ready," Rania replied.
"Very well, Ma'am. Excuse me," the servant said before leaving.
Rania entered the luxurious bathroom. After soaking for a short while, she quickly got ready.
She wore a white dress that had already been prepared in the wardrobe, then made her way to the back terrace.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," Rania said as she pulled out a chair and sat down.
"Just finish your breakfast," Kenzo ordered.
Rania nodded and began eating the bread that had been served.
"There will be a party tonight," Kenzo said. "All the business people will be there. I'll be introducing you to them."
"A party?" Rania repeated.
"Yes. We need to show up in public so everyone knows us as a romantic married couple. All you need to do is stand next to me and act with elegance."
Rania understood. She had been to business parties like that before. As Damian's secretary, she used to stand beside him. But that was in the past.
"Don't worry. I'll behave and act like a well-educated woman," Rania said. "I won't embarrass you."
"Let's hope so," Kenzo said, sounding a little doubtful.
Rania took a deep breath. "You always say things like that."
They continued their breakfast in silence.

That evening, Rania wore a red dress. Her face was beautifully made up, and her hair was left flowing elegantly.
She was very satisfied with the makeup team Kenzo had sent. They were truly professional.
As they walked down the stairs together, Kenzo paused and looked at Rania.
"What is it?" Rania asked.
Kenzo assessed her stunning appearance.
"Nothing. You look great in that dress," he said. "And you deserve to stand beside me."
Rania's heart warmed. She liked being praised. But she reminded herself not to get carried away.

When they arrived at the hotel, all eyes were on the couple.
For the first time, Kenzo Adithya appeared with a beautiful woman on his arm. Usually, he was only accompanied by his staff.
Reporters snapped as many photos as they could. The news would be all over the headlines by morning.
Investors who recognized the beautiful woman whispered among themselves. She was Rania Anastasia, Kenzo Adithya's wife-their wedding had been done privately.
Not far away, Damian watched it all. He had also been invited to the dinner party and was accompanied by Camila.
Unwilling to be outshone by Rania, Damian gently held Camila's hand and approached them.
"Good evening," Damian greeted.
Rania turned her face away. Not them again. Why were they even here? She was in no mood to see them.
"Hi, Rania. You look stunning. That red dress suits you, and your skin glows even more," Camila said.
She was trying to impress everyone, playing the part of a graceful and kind woman.
"My husband bought this dress for me. It's very expensive-worth tens of millions," Rania replied.
Camila was offended. Her own dress didn't cost nearly that much. But she smiled and tried to stay confident.
"Rania, I have good news for you," Camila said, tightening her grip on Damian's arm. "We're getting married."
"Don't forget to attend our wedding-if you have the time and don't feel too bothered," Damian added.
He was sure Rania hadn't moved on. Her marriage was just an escape.
"What do you think, darling? I'm waiting for your response," Rania asked Kenzo.
"I don't have time for unimportant events, darling," Kenzo replied. "But if you really want to go, I can make time."
"There's no need. Your work is more important," Rania said.
"You all know each other?" one of the investors asked.
"We've only met once," Kenzo replied. "It's not important."
After that exchange, Kenzo left to join the investors for a discussion, leaving Rania alone.
She chose to stand by the pool, sipping a refreshing drink.
Camila saw her and walked over.
"Hi, Rania," Camila greeted. "Sorry if I keep bothering you. I just want to talk."
Rania stayed silent as usual, not in the mood for an argument-especially without Kenzo by her side.
"My marriage to Damian has been approved by both our families. They're even very supportive."
"You don't mind, do you? I just don't want you to hold a grudge, especially since you chose your own path-marrying a young billionaire."
This time, Camila seemed proud, expecting Rania to be upset. She had been pretending to be calm for too long.
"That's no longer my business. I have nothing to do with Damian anymore. You two are perfect for each other-both traitors," Rania said coldly.
"You still have some nerve calling me a traitor, Rania. All this time, you were the one getting in the way of our relationship," Camila said sharply.
"If it weren't for my mercy, Damian wouldn't have even accepted you at his company. That was because I asked him to."
Rania didn't want to say more. She turned to leave, but Camila grabbed her arm.
Rania yanked her arm away roughly, causing Camila to fall backward.
Camila winced-her leg hurt badly, and her dress was soaked from her spilled drink.
"Camila!"
Her fiancé had arrived. Just as Rania had expected-such a drama queen.
"Damian, Rania pushed me. I was just trying to apologize," Camila whimpered with a sorrowful expression.
Damian helped Camila to her feet and held her hand tightly.
"What do you really want, Rania?" Damian said. "You're married now, aren't you? Why are you still being cruel to Camila?"
The guests began whispering. It seemed like there was history between them.
"She got in my way, so I pushed her," Rania said calmly. "She shouldn't have been there."
"You really are a cruel and shameless woman, Rania," Damian said, full of emotion.
"Traitors like you two don't deserve to judge me," Rania snapped.
Damian couldn't take it anymore, especially now that they were the center of attention. He couldn't let his reputation be ruined.
"Damian, you're a perfect match for this cheap woman. You're both full of drama," Rania spat.
Camila raised her hand, intending to slap Rania-but Rania struck first.
Smack!
Everyone gasped. It was a shocking scene.
"Consider that my wedding gift to you, ex-best friend," Rania said with a crooked smile.
