Chapter 6 Crazy Proposal

Alexandra looks at me and shakes her head.

"Who is that ragged?"

"One of my assistants, but what did you call them?"

"Ragged, she's horribly dressed, how you've changed lately, and how she stared at you, and me, it was obvious that she was dying of envy, how she would like to be the one who was by your side."

"If you knew who I am, who would want to have her by my side," I think.

"Shall we go?"

"Come on," we went with Alexandra to dinner at the restaurant where Ariadna worked.

If I kept thinking about her as I was doing at that moment, I was going to go crazy, I didn't understand why a woman as simple as her, was stealing my last thoughts, maybe Alexandra was right, to adjust my marriage to my parents and collect my grandfather's inheritance, I needed a woman like her, with which she could forge a better future, and a great fortune, Ariadna had nothing to offer.
