Ashley was making breakfast while paying attention to the movement in the living room.

After going back to the kitchen to pour a glass of water, Ashley slowly went upstairs to her room.

Her room was at the end of the corridor and had the worst angle and lighting on the entire second floor. But to her, it was the only space in this home that truly belonged to her.

As she passed by Mia's room, she heard muffled voices from inside.

Listening carefully, it was Mia and Sally.

"Mom, what's going on? Why isn't there any news about that bitch?"

"How do I know? I already made arrangements!"
