Chapter 3 Little adventure

After classes, we stayed back in the classroom to do some homework

"Oh my God" victoria yelled and ran over to Nina, "you're Gerald's daughter"

"Where did you get that from" Nina asked in shocked. "It all over the internet" Victoria handed her phone to Nina.

"yeah it's all over the internet Nina" David chimed in "did you tell Benita about this Duxie?" Nina said looking like she was about to explode

"I didn't tell Benita anything, i'm really sorry Nina I didn't..."

"Just let it be "

"Nina can you actually let me speak first"

"it's okay Duxie, I've forgiven you my identity would have been revealed sooner or later I can't hide forever, i guess" she simply shrugged but i didn't like the fact that she still thought i told Nita about it even when i clearly stated i didn't. There was protest at the back of my throat but i simply swallowed it. Deep down I hated how people forgave me for things I never actually did. I feel like if for once they listened and allowed me to properly explain myself, they won't be a lot of shoved aside misconceptions about me, but what can I do, I'm an advocate of peace especially with the people I love.

At the dorm, Nina sat quietly as I talked to Benita about exposing Nina's identity. I still couldn't understand the situation, if she'd learned about it she would've simply talked to us about it instead of posting it for clout.

"Nita, what you did was very wrong and you need to apologize to Nina now" I said strictly.

"What?" her eyes went as round as a saucer

"Why would i do that?, i made that post for Nina's good. Now she's popular, she won't have a hard time attracting a hot boy" she shrugged

"Boys this . . . " I started but Nina put a hand on my shoulder to cut me off and calm me a bit

"I know you did it for my good and I appreciate it but it might distract my study". Nina said calmly.

"Sweetheart it's just a couple of cute guys and crazy girls, you can keep saying no to all of them okay?. and besides we are here for you" she hugged Nina

Somehow she was able to talk us into believing what she did wouldn't have everyone looking at Nina differently. For a moment i comvince myself to believe it wasn't so bad at all.

"It's been long we did something crazy girls, don't you think so" Benita said her face lighting up with mischief.

"I have an idea" Benita said with a weird look, and from that look she gave, one would know she was up to nothing good. Whatever she had on her mind was definitely big trouble.

"I know you're crazy Nita but we could use a little bit of fun tonight" I said

"You know that hot guy?" Benita asked.

"Yeah, I've seen him before, he was the one that helped me out of a crowd after you leaked my identity" Nina deadpaned at her

"Really? I've not been in close proximity with him" Benita said

"Whatever" I rolled my eyes

"Benita you were saying something" Nina urged her to continue

"yeah, we're gonna camp at his house today"

"Nahhh, I don't wanna be part of this one, we'll sleep in jail if caught" I dropped the book i had in my hand and climbed up to my bed at the top bunk

"Count me out Nita"

"Please Duxie. Let do it together. You were even the founder of crazy Friday. You can't go back now" Nina whined " it sounds super fun by the way, if we don't get caught of course" she giggled at whatever she thought after her statement

"Look Nina" i stepped back down and grabbed her shoulders " This is not one of those your little dark romance novels, we'll be in serious trouble if we get caught. Crazy Friday is meant for risky texts, risky sex and acts like staying in the school's gym all night not breaking into someone's house in the middle of the night"

i felt so relieved after my speech when i saw a look of acceptance on Nina and Benita's face but that look was soon replaced with determination and i couldn't help but sigh in defeat

"Pack up Nina, we're camping at a hot boy's house" Benita declared

Since i have no choice but to tag along, i might as well enjoy the surge of anticipation and fear of getting caught. The thought of getting caught by a sixfootfive light skinned guy in his grey sweatpants in the middle of the night has my nipples hard like pebbles.

"Okay, I'll go" i try as much as i can to hide the excitement in my voice.

Okay, since we're already dressed in our pyjamas, I think it's time to go" "Benita said like a soldier and we just had to obey.

"What's his name?. Nina asked Benita

"His name is James Steve" she said, her eyes fixed on the road

"James?" I asked in shock.

That name stirred something inside me but i tried as much as i could to push whatever was brewing back down.

"It's not your James baby". Nina said as my head went down to her laps

"It might be him" I raised my head.

"James Smith is different name from James Steve" Benita said. I had told them about James when we became friends in our first year together in school. Now i felt so emotional thinking about everything. "Don't cry baby" Nina rubbed circles on my back as I sobbed on her laps.

After a while I stopped crying and smiled "Are you better?" Benita asked?.

"yes I am" I smiled.

"sure?" Nina asked not convinced.

"Yeah! Are you guys ready to go crazy" I shouted as Benita parked the car in a dark spot, and we got out and walked on foot through lines of big trees then around a very huge building and finally arriving at what seemed like the back gate.

"Now how to get in" Benita paced back and forth

"I'll climb" I volunteered, i was the best climber afterall.

I climbed up the wall and checked around "coast clear"

"Okay help me up" Nina stretched her hands and I helped her up the wall.

"okay my turn" Benita raised her two hands and we helped her up after a long struggle. The girl's too thick

I jumped down.

"Benita this is paradise" I opened my eyes and mouth wide as we took a careful stroll round the backyard. There was a beautiful lily garden, o my favourite flowers.

"wait a minute I hear footsteps" we stopped at that point immediately.

"James I'm tired, let's go upstairs" A feminine voice said

"Okay I'll carry you to your room" The said James said and slowly they left.

"Owwww, that so sweet" Nina said hugging me tight

"Whatever let's get going". I said breaking the hug. we walked past the backyard and got to the main door.

"Easier than I thought" I said when I saw that it was just a normal door without password or anything.

Nina walked in first then we followed, it was easy to get to the first floor.

didn't this person have security or something?. it was too easy to get in

"Now we'll separate ourselves, feel free pick any room of your choice the in the morning we meet here" Benita was just too bossy.

"I pick that room" Nina ran into a room at the far end.

"I think I will sleep there" Benita went into another room and lock the door.

Now I was left alone to choose any room at all in this insanely big house. What's the certainty that i won't end up in the master bedroom and get us all in trouble. This is insane shit but here we are doing it anyway.

After a while I thought I should take a bigger risk something crazier, I walked downstairs then I turned on my phone video camera to record my every move.

I had a lot of fun in the kitchen ate and messed up like a little kid and when I was filled, I began searching my way back but I was lost. I kept walking forward and backward but kept coming back to one door. I was tired now, whatever was behind that door I was going to sleep with it.

After entering the room, I switched on the light in the room, it was beautiful, the place was decorated with a large black grand piano and other black artworks. I admired and recorded everything there.

I couldn't find any photographs around so it's probably a newly acquired apartment or the owner is not a fan of photographs.

I was going to sleep on the grand piano bench when my eyes met another door. I prayed hard that it led to a room as walked toward the door cause i was exhausted from wandering and i don't care if there's someone in it.

I opened the door slowly with a little fear. I could see another lily garden from there. When I turned on the light I almost passed out.

There was a master bed and a huge wardrobe and other nice things. It was decorated with plain vases, plain white walls etc.

I jumped on the bed and marvelled at how soft and comforting it was. in a short while i drifted to sleep.

Bad thing my sleep didn't last long. I jerked up from the bed when I heardwa male voice from the other other room. It sounded like he was on the phone with someone and like he was really pissed. I quickly got out of bed and ran into the wardrobe hoping he won't be having any use for it till tomorrow.

The James came into the room and the door closed with a loud bang causing me to flinch. i could hear footsteps then silence.

After a while he walked out of the room

another loud bang

I was relieved, I thought he was gone till I heard the sound of the grand piano. There was sadness, loneliness and revenge in the melody. I felt my heart ache for a bit and with the sleep that devoured my eyes, I couldn't keep them awake any longer. The music was lullaby fueling my sleep.

"Morning darling. It's time for breakfast" a lady announced jolting me awake from my slumber.

"is it morning already?" his morning voice very gruff.

sounds like he didn't get enough sleep

i didn't too

"yeah come have breakfast".

"I'll skip, I have to water the lily" He ignored her. "What the fuck is so special about those ugly plants are they more important then I am?" she asked rudely.

"yes they are" he walked out of the big glass door and to the lily garden leaving a heart broken bitch. Too bad I couldn't get to see their faces.

I do feel bad for her and this James is definitely a pass for me.The girl literally woke up early to make him breakfast

After a while of sobbing, she storms out of the room and a very loud bang follows.

I wondered what their love life would be like. Was it a love hate relationship cause clearly this guy in question doesn't love her.

I needed to get out. Nina and Benita were already texting and I kept telling them to wait. I opened the wardrobe slowly and when I was about to step out, Someone appeared in front of me, without looking at the person I pushed my way through and fell down, my leg was injured but I stood up immediately and ran out of the room. How we made it home is still a mystery but we sure did have a lot of fun, we promised to not try this in the future again.
