Chapter 2 The ladies in Italy.

" I heard the new girl is not only beautiful, but she is rich as well," Riha told her friends, "she is so lucky," Matilda added. Students were talking to each other when suddenly their attention drifted to the exclusive black silk G wagon that just entered the parking lot. "She's here," someone in the crowd said. The car doors flung open from both sides and Marina and Olga stepped out with confidence in their expensive corporate outfits. Everyone's mouths were wide open as the ladies made their way to their class. Marina became popular for her beauty, her wealth, and her intelligence.

Olga and Marina waited for their professor, and a man in his late 50s walked in. The students acknowledged his presence and greeted him. "Good morning Prof.Pierre," they said in unison. At one glance at Marina, prof. Pierre felt a connection he only felt when his daughter was alive, and this brought back memories. After the class, he called Marina to his office. " What's your name young lady ?" he asked. "I'm Marina, sir," she replied. "You remind me so much of my late daughter," he said with teary eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry for your loss, sir; you can talk to me whenever you miss her; I'll be here," Marina said, feeling sad. "Thank you, my daughter," he said, and they both talked for a while, and she eventually left his office.

Prof. Pierre became Marina's Godfather, and he taught her many things educationally and financially as well. Marina adored him. The males wouldn't stop trying to win Marina's heart by any means, but she remained focused and politely rejected them all. Her relationship with The Monreos only grew through the frequent video calls. She has seen all of them except Olga's elder brother, Michelle.

Marina and Olga were given a nine-month break in their 6th year. So, Olga decided to visit her family in Italy. She told her family and they told her to bring Marina along. When Olga asked Marina to follow her, she was reluctant, but after much persuasion from Olga and her family, she agreed. On the day of the voyage, Olga's family sent a private jet to come pick them up. Olga held Marina's hand and dragged her to the plane. Marina just screamed and wondered why her best friend was crazy. They both laughed as they settled in their chairs and their food was served. They took pictures and gossiped for a while before they eventually slept off. They slept for long hours. Marina woke up to clean her face in the washroom, and as soon as she stepped out, the pilot announced that they had arrived. Olga immediately woke up and screamed, "Yeah, I can't wait for my family to see you in person, Marina." Marina just shook her head and smiled.

The Monreos were already waiting for the ladies with pulchritudinous bouquets of flowers. Olga said playfully, and they all laughed and hugged her."you're going to be my daughter-in-law, Marina, I can see the future, "Mrs. Monroe said, smiling happily while holding Marina's hand." yes, I'll marry her, "Morris said jokingly," you wanna die?" Laura asked and they all burst out laughing. Laura's baby boy instantly fell in love with Marina and stretched his hands for her to carry."I think the baby likes her too, " Mrs Monroe said. Marina carried the baby, and they all couldn't stop admiring her.

Marina and Olga entered the Rolls-Royce with Laura's baby, he wanted to stay with Marina because he loved her. The other family members were in the other luxurious cars behind the signoras. "my brother is going to fall in love with you at first glance bébé" Olga said to Marina in the car "Can't you just shut up Olga ", Marina said and they both chuckled and looked at each other with admiration "I am blessed to have you in my life Marina" Olga said with gratitude," me too " Marina replied softly. "we're home " Olga screamed "omg don't wake the baby mad girl " Marina replied patting the baby's back. The security opened the gate, and the cars entered; they all got down, and some servants welcomed them while some helped with the luggage.

Laura took her baby to sleep and Marina and Olga went to change their outfits upstairs in their room. Mrs Monroe called Michelle to announce the arrival of his sister and her gorgeous friend. Michelle was happy to hear that his sister was back but he replied casually on the phone like he didn't care. Laura changed and came down leaving Marina alone in the room. On getting there, she met Michelle who just returned with his friend Maxim. She ran to give him a bear hug." He opened his mouth slightly without realizing it, he was too captivated by her beauty.
