Chapter 2 2

"Arielle Mom is back!!" Daisy shouted.

"Why is the house so quiet, is she asleep?" she thought and ran up the stairs.

She arrived at Arielle's room and opened the door, only to see her sleeping.

She quietly closed the door and went to her room.

She took a shower and went downstairs to eat dinner.

"Did Arielle do her homework?" she asked the maid.

Laura: "No ma'am. She said she wanted you to help her with it."

Daisy: "Did she eat anything?"

"She just had a cup of milk. She said she wasn't hungry," Laura replied.

"Make her food, I'll be back," she said and went to Arielle's room.

"Arielle Mom is here," she said and touched her face.

"hmmm" She said sleepily

Daisy: "Aren't you hungry?"

Arielle: "I was waiting for you."

"Please don't do that again. You don't even know when I'm supposed to be home," she said and carried her up.

Arielle: "Mom, I want to ask you something," she said and kissed her cheek.

"You can tell me what you want after we finish eating, okay," she said.

"Okay mom, I love you." Ariel happily replied.

Daisy: "I love you too. Here's a meat platter, eat up, honey."

Arielle: "That doesn't mean I won't ask for what I want."

"I know right," Daisy said and laughed.

After the meal, they were both in Arielle's room, doing her homework when Arielle spoke.

Arielle: "Mom, can I tell you what I want now?" "

Let's finish this first," Daisy replied.

When they were done, she looked at Ariel with a questioning look.

Arielle: "What?"

Daisy: "Ariel, Levi told me what you did."

"I'm sorry," she mumbled.

Daisy: "What if something had happened to you, huh? Do you think Mom can live without you?"

"No, I didn't mean to hit her. She just kept calling me names, so I had to teach her a lesson," Arielle replied

. Daisy: "Wait, what? You got into a fight again?"

Arielle: "Oh, isn't that what talk is about?"

Daisy sighed

"I'm sorry Mom, but she kept saying I don't have a daddy" said Arielle

Daisy: "That doesn't mean you should fight!"

Arielle' "I'm sorry Mom, but she just...

" "There you go again, you can't apologize without saying but" she said

"I'm sorry Mom" said Arielle

She already started to cry.

"Come here. Please don't do that again" said Daisy and kissed her.

"What did you do at the mall?" she asked.

"I just wanted to check out a dress" replied Arielle

"And you ran up to a stranger, and called him Daddy?" she asked

Arielle: "They didn't want me to look at them unless I was with someone"

Daisy: "And what was his name?" Arielle: "

I don't know, but he was really handsome. I think you should marry him."

Daisy: " Hahahaha . Do you think I can just marry anyone?"

"If I were an adult, I would have married him," Arielle replied, smiling.

"Yeah, you can marry him when you become an adult, but right now you're not," she said.

"I'm your daughter, Mom, and I know I'm cute, so don't worry. When I'm an adult, I'll be so pretty, even prettier than you," she said.

Daisy started tickling her and she laughed. Daisy read her bedtime stories until she fell asleep.

"I love you so much" she mumbled and kissed his head before leaving...

___"Let me go!! I don't want to!!" she screamed

___"We've been dating for a while now, you should allow me to do this" the voice said

___"Let me go, please" she screamed and opened her eyes panting heavily.

"I hate you" she screamed.

She had that same nightmare again. Her worst memories won't go away.

She checked the time and it was already 6:30.

She got up, brushed her teeth, took a shower, got dressed before going to Arielle's room.

She saw Laura getting her ready for school and Arielle asking so many questions as usual.

Laura: "Good morning madam"

"Good morning and how was your night?" she asked

"It was good madam" Laura replied

Arielle: "Good morning mom"

Daisy: "Good morning sweetheart"

"I will do it, you can go do something else" she said.

"Thank you madam" Laura said and went out

Daisy: "Did you dream about mommy?"

"Yes" Ariel replied

"What did you dream about?" she asked.

"You took me shopping in my dream" she replied and twisted her lips

"I know you want to go shopping, but don't worry mommy will do that for you on Saturday" she said.

"You are so cute" Daisy said and helped her with her backpack and they went downstairs for breakfast...

"I will drop her off at school on my way, so don't worry" she said to the driver.

"Okay, ma'am," he replied and went back inside.

They got into the car and sped off.

"Remember you promised Mom you wouldn't fight with anyone," Daisy said when they arrived at school.

Arielle: "I didn't promise," she replied .

Daisy: "Really?"

"I didn't promise, Mom," she replied and got out of the car.

Daisy: "What kind of girl are you?"

"I got that from you, don't forget," she said.

"I'm going to talk to your teacher," she said and went to the teachers' office.

"Hello, ma'am," Arielle's class teacher said.

Daisy: "Please make sure she doesn't fight with anyone today."

"I'll gladly do it, ma'am, but Arielle never accepts defeat," said the teacher.

"I know that, but please try. I'll go now, bye," she said and left

Damon walked into the office like the boss he is, and the employees couldn't stop admiring him.

"OMG!! He's so cute

," "Oh, I love him already," another said.

"Just look over here, please.

" "Nice," Damon mumbled and smiled.

He walked past Daisy's office, and no one was there.

He went into the office and looked around.

Daisy came back after getting some coffee.

"Daisy, the new boss is here," Joel said

. "What, really?" she asked and quickly walked into the office.

"Hello sir" she said

"Get out" he said with a cold but gentle voice

Daisy: "Huh?"

___"I said to go out and knock before you come in" he shouted and she flinched.

"9.... Okay sir" She answered and went out.

She knocked on the door once and went in.

Damon: "Were you allowed in? Get out"

She went out...

She knocked again, but got no answer. She did the same thing again.

She looked at him through the clear glass and saw him sitting down.

"Is he going to let me in or not?" she mumbled and kept knocking.

After 20 minutes of standing and knocking, she finally heard him say to come in.

"You should knock next time or you could end up standing there for an hour" he said.

"He's exactly what his father described," she thought.

"So who are you in the company?" he asked.

"My name is Daisy Miller and I'm...

Damon: "I don't care what your name is, all I asked was what 's your position in the company?"

"Oh... Um... I was your father's secretary," she replied.

"Aren't you supposed to get me a cup of coffee as a secretary?" he asked with a devilish grin.

"Yes, sir," she replied and walked out.
