Chapter 3 Her First Sex

"How much did you borrow from Blue Sea Gulf in total?" Cole asked curiously.

"Eighty," Anne replied softly, releasing her lips.

"Eighty thousand. After deducting thirty thousand, there's still fifty thousand left. Do you know how long it'll take you to pay it back?"

"I know. If I make five thousand a night, and they take three thousand, I'll need one hundred sixty-six days. If I give them all five thousand, I'll need one hundred days." Anne had already done the calculations.

"You think you'll only need to serve drinks?" Cole found the girl in front of him a bit naive. In a place like that, was it really up to her to decide whether she just served drinks or did something else?

"They promised me... other than my first time, they wouldn't force me." Anne replied tiredly.

"Idiot." Cole cursed under his breath. He stood up, grabbed a bag from the other room, and tossed a bottle of water onto the bed. "Your clothes were all torn up last night. You can't wear them anymore. Consider this one as compensation. There are contraceptives in the bag. Take one now."

Anne quickly took the pills, swallowed them in front of him.

"I'll have someone send over the thirty thousand later. You... take care of yourself."

With that, he didn't look at her again and strode out of the room. Anne heard the door click shut from outside. Her trembling hands reached for the bag on the bed. Inside was a white dress-from a brand she had only dared to admire from afar in a shopping mall.

She still remembered that one time she had gone shopping with her best friend, Tracy. They had walked into a store to look at a dress, but the price tag had made them quickly step out, feeling embarrassed. At the time, they had sworn that after graduation, they would work hard and, no matter what, buy at least one dress from that store.

She never expected her first dress from this brand to come in such a way. Tears welled up in her eyes and fell onto the dress. The pain from last night hadn't made her cry, but seeing this dress did. She buried her face in it and sobbed silently.

Mary, her grandmother, had liver cancer and needed a transplant to survive, but the treatment was expensive. The surgery and medical costs added up to nearly eighty thousand. At the time, there wasn't a suitable donor, so she had no choice but to wait while working tirelessly at part-time jobs.

A month later, the hospital informed her that a car accident victim had passed away. He had signed an organ donation agreement while alive, and his liver was a perfect match for Mary's. The hospital asked if she wanted to proceed with the transplant.

She had just applied for a job at Blue Sea Gulf. Originally, she had thought that her good alcohol tolerance could help her make quick money-the fastest way she could think of. Because of her looks and her status as a college student, she passed the interview quickly. When the HR manager overheard her phone call about her grandmother's condition, they offered to lend her eighty thousand upfront, to be deducted from her salary later.

Anne was beyond grateful and signed the contract without reading it carefully. She immediately handed the money over to the hospital for the surgery, which turned out to be a success. She was relieved, believing that as long as she worked hard-never taking a single day off-she could pay off the debt in one hundred sixty days, or even sooner with her other part-time jobs.

But when she returned to Blue Sea Gulf, she realized the contract she had signed wasn't just about serving drinks. It also required her to sell her virginity-and a price had already been set. Twenty thousand.

She refused.

But they showed her the contract, where it was clearly written. If she breached the agreement, she would have to pay double the amount-one hundred sixty thousand.

One hundred sixty thousand? She couldn't even afford five thousand back then. If not for her grandmother's illness, she never would have considered working there in the first place.

She stubbornly refused.

Cathy, the woman in charge of her, seemed to sympathize with her situation and tried to persuade her, "Think about it, honey. It's eighty thousand. Just one night, and you'll make twenty thousand. The remaining sixty thousand will be easy to earn. If you're willing to sacrifice a little, won't you get out of debt faster?"

She thought about calling the police. But Cathy told her that the owner behind Blue Sea Gulf was no ordinary person. Besides, she had signed the contract herself-no one forced her.

Even if she reported them, she'd still have to pay the money. Nothing would change. Worse, the scandal might spread to her school and home.

Anne was an orphan. Mary had found her abandoned at the doorstep one early morning, naming her "Anne" because she was discovered at dawn.

Mary's family wasn't well-off, but she had always treated Anne as her own. Though her son and daughter-in-law never understood why she insisted on raising a child she picked up, Mary believed it was fate and never wavered. She even supported Anne through school.

When Anne got into university, Mary was overjoyed, inviting all the neighbors for a celebration. Anne had dreamed of graduating, working hard, and giving Mary a good life. But then Mary was diagnosed with cancer. Her son and daughter-in-law immediately suggested not treating it, leaving only Anne unwilling to give up.

Her aunt had thrown one final remark before disappearing with her husband: "If you want to treat her, you pay for it. She raised you all these years-it's time for you to repay her."

Anne hesitated, fearing Mary couldn't bear the shock of her situation. Cathy saw her wavering and continued to persuade her, "It's just one night. I have medicine. If you're really scared, come find me. I promise that if you take this pill, you'll only feel good, and the night will pass quickly. We'll deal with everything else later."

The first time she was assigned to serve drinks, her client was an overweight, greasy-looking man. Sitting next to him made her feel nauseous. When he reached out to touch her, she struggled to resist the urge to slap him.

That was when Xander arrived.

Blue Sea Gulf had already spread the rumor that she resembled the famous actress Adele. Xander had seen the news and come to see for himself. Finding that she did bear some resemblance, he immediately told Cathy to reserve her. Cole would return from abroad in half a month, and during that time, no one was allowed to touch her. Her first time had to be saved. He transferred ten thousand on the spot.

The overweight client, knowing Xander's background, didn't dare argue. Cathy quickly promised him a better girl, and the matter was settled.

Anne didn't know what she felt at that moment. But she did feel an immense sense of relief. Even though she had already braced herself, the thought of her first time being with that kind of man made her want to vomit.

As she showered, her mind replayed the recent events. Her entire body ached. She had checked herself in the mirror earlier-her body was covered in bruises.

Aside from the moment he realized she was a virgin, Cole had not been gentle at all. She knew the medicine had played a part, and in a way, she felt guilty. But she was also relieved-at least her first time had been with him. At least, thinking back on it wouldn't make her feel disgusted.
