Chapter 7 Grocery Shopping

The woman who had me pressed to the wall had a blazing vengeance in her eyes, I didn't know this woman from anywhere so I didn't understand why she could nurse such hatred for me in her eyes I've done nothing wrong to her.

"You think you are a big deal right?" She asked as she pressed my shoulder and it became quite painful. I didn't understand what she was going on about, was there someone who lived here that looked like me? Having enough of her drama, I pushed her off me.

"Well, nice to meet you too because I don't know who you are or what you're talking about," I said to her with confusion written on my face.

"Stay away from Mr. Vincenzo, I am the only one who can please him and understand him, you're just putting your nose in things that don't concern you." I don't know what her deal was, did she think I was already sleeping with Mr Vincenzo? although I planned to. I wasn't going to do it soon, sorry for her if she was a needy whore, not my fault.

" You have a way of welcoming someone new, are you afraid I will replace you? Be a better rider than you? treat him better?" I asked her in a taunting tone, I knew several girls who see me near their man always think I want to steal from them.

" I was supposed to be his personal maid but they just had to pick you." She said giving me a judgmental look, seriously I wasn't in the mood for this but she was starting to get on my nerves.

" You see, something you don't know is that I was picked to be a maid which I am doing while you on the other hand are desperate to be his whore. Her face burned, then she made an attempt to slap me but I held her hand.

"Excuse me, is something wrong with you? what gives you the right?"

"You'll just be his whore and nothing more, you're not special." She said with so much anger before storming off, what the hell just happened? I shook my head in disbelief before walking to my room.

I had a shower and took time to wash my body off because of all the sand from the garden. When I was done with showering, I took out my clothes, so I picked shorts and a top. The shorts were really short, they just covered my butt and made them more pronounced. I felt good in them, then I paired the outfit with my favorite sneakers. The outfit was giving.

Mr. Ford gave me a card that I could use to buy groceries or anything in the house that was needed. I didn't even want to think about how much was inside because I had a very strong feeling that there was more than just a few hundred bucks.

I took my bag and made my way out of my room. I went into the kitchen to make a list of what I'd be buying. I didn't waste time there because I planned on buying as many things as I could buy, I wasn't ready to go grocery shopping every week.

I decided to visit Jordan first. I could tell he was excited to see me with the way his eyes lit up at the sight of me, he was acting like he hadn't seen me in months. As soon as I reached him he took me into his embrace.

" Hey, hottie." I hit his shoulder playfully. This place was more of a bar by day and club by night, so it wasn't buzzing with people but come here at night and you wouldn't even hear a sound apart from music, not even if two couples decide to have sex in public.

" How is it going over there?" He asked as he led me by the hand towards the stools so we could sit...

" It's been just two days and so far it's been good." Except my boss is fucking hot and I can't get him out of my mind, not like I would tell him that.

" So any girl you got your eyes on lately?" I asked him, I've been trying to get Jordan to date a girl, I didn't want him to die single. He was a good guy but when it comes to dating well he wasn't good in that area, he was the sex with no strings attached kind of guy.

He didn't give me a reply, just rolled his eyes at me and ignored the question. He does that every single time. I knew one day he was going to find someone. We talked for a little longer before I decided that it was time to go shopping. I kissed him on the cheeks and when he stood up to walk me to the door I told him not to bother, he was working after all.

I wasn't careless with money, that was for sure, but as I went through everything in this store, I took everything useful thing I laid my eyes on. I already had the first trolley full and was on the second. By the time I was done shopping both trolleys were full. I took the things I bought to the counter and then paid for them. I didn't own a car, so I called a taxi and everything was off-loaded into the trunk of the car. I settled into the taxi and the driver drove off.

When I got to the mansion I had to signal to the security that it was me or they wouldn't open the gates. The gate came open and the taxi driver drove in. He helped me bring the things down from the trunk after which I paid him and he drove off.

With the help of other maids, I packed the things into the kitchen. I thanked them as they also helped me sort a few things in place while I did the rest. I was still doing that when I heard my name being called.

"Miss Westbrook." I turned to see Mr Ford making his way to me. My first thought was that I'd gotten into trouble or maybe I did too much spending, but I calmed myself down. "Yes Sir," I smiled at him.

"Mr Vincenzo wants to see you in his office." My smile dropped.
