Chapter 4 I won't come back

"Who are you calling?" Desmond asked.

"Why are you asking me who I'm calling? I'm no longer your wife. Who I'm calling is none of your business."

"She must be calling her poor friends." Bella mocked.

"Mind how you talk to me, Bella. I'm never your mate. Though I don't blame you. I blame myself for reducing myself so low that you can talk to me anyhow you want. If not for the fact that I married your brother, you are not qualified to talk to me. People like you run errands for me."

"Stop blabbing. It won't help you. You are leaving, and you are not coming back." Bella waved a mocking goodbye as Anabel made her way to leave with a small bag.

"Don't come back begging, Anabel. I won't listen to you. You have the privilege to stay and be our house help, other than going out to perish. All of us know that you don't have anywhere to go. I'm giving you a chance." Anabel heard Desmond speak from behind. She paused and twirled her head towards him. "The last thing I will do is to become your maid. I'm going, and I will never come back begging; you will be the one to do that." With that, she sauntered out of the room.

"Who does she even think she is?" Bella said as the door closed behind Anabel.

"She's nothing. The foolish woman thinks she's walking away with her head held high." Mrs. Elizabeth said with gleaming eyes.

Bella snorted, "After everything that my brother has done for her, she has the nerve to threaten him?"

"Threats from a scorned woman mean nothing. She'll realize soon enough she can't survive without Desmond's wealth and influence." Mrs. Elizabeth added.

"You think she'll come crawling back?" Desmond asked, and her mom nodded. "She'll beg for forgiveness once reality sets in. Mark my words. But we won't let her in.

"Yes." Bella's eyes sparkled with malice. "I'll make sure she regrets ever crossing us."

They were still talking when they heard a car approaching and went to check through the window. They were surprised when they saw the car stopping by the gate.

"Is that not the latest version of Rolls-Royce? That car worth millions of dollars." Desmond exclaimed.

"Is that the person she called? Is she going to enter that car? No way!" Bella couldn't believe it.

As Anabel approached the car, they saw the car door opening. They were shocked in disbelief when Anabel got in and the door closed black.

"Mom, she just entered the car!" Bella exclaimed.

"I said it. Anabel is a whore and a gold digger. She had already hooked up with a very rich man. No wonder she wasn't crying when she was signing the divorce paper. This must be the reason she wasn't bothered with the money. She may think she's about to enjoy life, but she's just getting close to her destruction. They will use her and dump her."

"But how did she land someone like that quickly?" Desmond asked.

Bella snorted, "She must have been playing you behind your back."

"Let's forget about her and focus on our future and the baby. I think we need to celebrate this precious soul growing inside of me. "A little party won't be bad." Daniella said, trying to draw all attention back to her.

"Yes, it deserves to be celebrated. You put smiles on my face in less than three months, unlike the barren slut. I don't regret hooking you up with my son."

"Thank you, Mommy. I'm going to give birth to a beautiful baby for your son." Daniella purred.

"Yeah, you are beautiful, and my brother is handsome. I won't be surprised if you give birth to an angel." Bella said.

"So, Honey," Daniella wrapped her arms around Desmond. "What will you gift me?"

"What do you want?" Desmond asked.

"I want a brand new Rolls Royce. The latest version." Daniella answered.

"I have up to five expensive cars parked at the garage. You can take any of them anytime you want. What is mine is yours."

"I want my own. The one bought in my name. I'm carrying your baby."

"Son, Daniella deserved the best. She's about to give you what Anabel couldn't give you for two years."

"Yes, brother." Bella chimed in. "She's carrying your heir."

"Okay, fine. I will buy the Rolls-Royce for you." Desmond finally agreed, and Daniella squealed. "Thank you, darling. You are the best."

Daniella's eyes gleamed as she hugged Desmond. She had him right where she wanted. The Rolls Royce was just the beginning.
