Chapter 5 Secrets and surveys

Sophia followed Henry to her office, her mind racing with questions. What kind of financial challenges was the resort facing? And why did Henry seem so serious? As they walked, Sophia took in the sights and sounds of the resort. The gardens were lush and green, with colorful flowers blooming everywhere. The air was filled with the sweet scent of plumeria. They arrived at Sophia's office, a cozy room with a desk, chair, and bookshelf. Henry gestured for Sophia to take a seat. "Please, sit down," Henry said. "I'll explain everything." Sophia sat down, her heart pounding in her chest.

Henry took a deep breath and began to explain. "The resort is facing some financial difficulties," Henry said. "We've been struggling to make ends meet, and I'm worried that we might lose the resort if we don't do something soon." Sophia's eyes widened in shock. "What happened?" Sophia asked, feeling a sense of concern. Henry hesitated, as if unsure of how to explain. "It's a combination of things," Henry said finally. "The economy has been tough, and tourism has been down. We've also had some unexpected expenses." Sophia nodded, trying to process the information. "What can we do?" Sophia asked, feeling a sense of determination. Henry smiled, looking relieved. "I'm glad you're willing to listen," Henry said. "I have some ideas, but I need your approval." Sophia leaned forward, her eyes locked on Henry's. "I'm listening," Sophia said.
