"Huh?"

Emmie looked in the direction Isaac pointed at but saw nothing. When she turned around, Isaac had smeared something underneath her eyes. Her eyes felt burning right away as tears welled up.

"Isaac, I'm going to kill you!"

Isaac took her and Ryan to the hotel and said, "Not now, you can do whatever you want to do when we go back."

In front of the French window, Dennis was holding a wine glass in his hand. Wearing a suit, he had successfully attracted the attention of many women.

Harrison tidied up his hair pretentiously. "Sigh, it's tiring to be so handsome. Just how many girls are looking in my direction now? I must've committed a terrible sin in my past life to deserve this!"

Dennis had not seen anyone more shameless than Harrison.

Harrison looked at the newlyweds standing in the distance and said, "I didn't expect that the Smith family would really marry their daughter off to Logan. Logan's reputation is terrible in this circle. I couldn't understand what had gotten to the Smith family. Aren't they quite famous in the city too?"

Dennis indeed didn't like Logan very much. Although the business world had been filled with many hypocrites, Logan's behavior was considered one of the most despicable.

"Logan was not born with an astonishing background. He was infamous for hacking into others' privacy and blackmailing them. The Smith family isn't as righteous as they seem to be on the surface. He definitely knows a secret of the Smith family that he can threaten them with."

"It's such a pity. Miss Smith is a beauty. If I were you, I would definitely find someone to kill him."

Dennis glanced at Harrison as if he was looking at an idiot. "The number of secrets he knows about City A's business world is unimaginable. He definitely has a backup plan. If he disappears from City A, those secrets will soon be exposed to the public. This is also the reason why he can live until now even if he has offended so many people."

"Hmph!"

The newlyweds were toasting the guests when suddenly a boy appeared out of nowhere. He grabbed Logan's leg as he called out, "Dad!"

The bride looked confused. "Logan, what's going on?"

Logan was stupefied to see a kid hugging his leg. "Where did you come from, kid? I'm not your dad!"

Ryan was crying profusely when he wailed, "You are! You're my father. Mom said that you are going to ditch us. You are marrying another woman."

Ryan was a good-looking boy. When he sobbed, the tears made him look rather pitiful and adorable.

A tumult of shouting and screaming broke out in the hall.

"It looks like the boy is already at the age of attending kindergarten."

"That's why you should never judge a book by its cover."

"Oh goodness, I never knew that he was such a person."

Rage pulsed through Logan's veins. He pushed Ryan away before the latter fell to the ground.

Isaac punched Logan's face and barked, "You b*stard, I understand you don't want to admit that he's your son. But, how can you hurt him?"

"F*ck, who are you?"

Isaac had a muscular build, and Logan knew he was no match for Isaac if this further escalated.

"Seriously? Not only did you steal money from my sister, but you also coax her into giving birth to Ryan. Yet, in less than two months, you took the money before you abandoned her and Ryan. How could you be so shameless? You even came to look for her two months ago while she was pregnant with your second child. How could you fall in love with another woman so fast? Logan, you are a f*cking b*stard! You had taken my sister's money to cheat other women. Without my sister, do you think you can achieve what you have today?"

Isaac's face was red and his nostrils were flaring. He appeared so sincere and convincing.

Behind him, a woman was holding on to Ryan tightly, crying aloud.

Ryan sobbed, "Mom, Dad doesn't want us anymore, does he?"

"Ryan, don't be afraid. Dad won't–"

"But he's going to marry someone else," interjected Ryan.

The woman cried even more loudly as she choked with her tears.
