Chapter 4 You Are Mine and I Am Devilishly Into You

When the high-pitched doorbell awakened her, Ariel scrambled up in surprise because most visitors were family friends who were aware that her mum and dad were currently staying in the Wales with a former schoolmates. Unfortunately, that was the closest her parents could get to a holiday on their restricted income from working at Bedfordshire, United Kingdom.

From the hall she could see two male figures through the front door's floral-themed etched frosted glass.

"Yes? Who is it," she asked with hesitation, opening the door only a fraction to take a peek at this possible visitor.

An older man with greying hair gave her a serious appraisal with his slitted gaze, "May we come in and speak to you, Miss Ariel? My card..." A business card was then extended through the narrow gap of the slightly open doorway and she glanced down at it: Damien Bennett, it read. Bennett & Bennett, Solicitors.

Instantly fearing yet another problem linked to her escape from her fiancé, the dainty girl took a small step back, almost closing the door. Obviously, who else has the power to look for her across the globe? To her dismay, Ariel knew for sure that this visit was somehow connected to her odd ex-lover whom she cannot even tell if he's human or an animal from his sexual fantasy due to his changing form .

Ariel's face lost its colour as she slowly opened the front door wide. Coming home has opened a lot of opportunities to be easily located and Ariel just didn't know how to deal with this present problem. Worse, she shrank from the thought and prospect of telling the police that her husband-to-be had turned into a large dog when he was unaware of her presence nearby. Who would even believe such a tale about her well-respected tycoon fiancé over her, who was virtually a nobody? She questioned herself this continually and internally upon her return to her parents' home.

She was very much afraid that revealing that information would mark her as a crazed person who just cared about exposing others' deep and dark secrets. Also, Ariel was frightened that the minute she admitted that she saw him change form, he would kill her and bury her deep in the bush despite him admitting to presently having feelings for her.

"Luciano Grey..." the older man then introduced his companion who stepped forward from slightly behind the older male. Ariel took another step back from her two visitors, all her senses now on full apprehensive alert! She was so scared that she did not noticed her blond and broad-shouldered fiancé standing close to the first man whom gave her his card!

And when the poor runaway bride-to-be focused on the taller, younger man by his solicitor's side, she instinctively froze at his livid expression for he was a man like no other, no matter how many times she's been with him. His movements were fast, smooth and incredibly quiet as if he were a combat soldier slinking through the jungle. He was poetry in motion and pure fantasy in the flesh. Indeed, he was just about the most breathtakingly beautiful man Ariel had ever seen in her life. The shock of his sudden magnetic appearance was hard to withstand, especially now when she was most vulnerable in her parents' absence. Her chest tightened as she struggled to catch her breath and not stare as the compellingly handsome features of his lean bronzed face urged her to look at him against her will. It made her feel frightened like a young schoolgirl and she hurriedly turned her head away so she could invite them shyly into the living room.

Luciano couldn't take his eyes off Ariel as his wolf kept trying to get loose. Him marking her made the bond worse than he had expected with his human mate. With a growl, he quickly and quietly wolf-sped into the two-storey residence's ground floor bathroom in order for his wolf to calm down, yet not forgetting the painful throb in his loins at seeing and smelling her delectable sweet scent of roses and ambergris. He was surprised Ariel did not notice the visible bulge on his tailored trouser when she opened the door, since she was unaware of his presence. To his consternation, all he could think about was having her there and then right in the middle of her home's immaculately-groomed front lawn.

Hugely self-conscious about the intensity of Luciano's appraisal, Ariel could feel her face getting hotter and redder. But, because her former fiancé unnerved her, she kept her attention on the older man and asked, "How can I help you, Atty. Bennett?"

"We're here to discuss your relationship with the Alpha" Damien Bennett informed her curtly albeit politely.

At that response, her heart dropped to the soles of her canvas-clad feet. Unaware of the use of the term Alpha, her head turned swiftly, her almond-shaped eyes opening wide as she involuntarily looked back at Luciano. As he returned her surprised gaze with his intense stare, Ariel instantly saw what she had refused to recognize seconds earlier. The angry look he keeps throwing her way, and the low growl coming from his direction like an animal ready to pounce on his prey, only meant one thing...

With a scared look, Ariel sat upright and stylishly moved further from Luciano not knowing that the smirk on his face means he's aware of her every action and even her thoughts and realization about him!

But not on this particular day is she going to get way from him, and she knew it!

His wolf kept crying out, Mine... SHE IS MINE!

Just keep quiet for now, Kodan! His still furious human suggested firmly. We are already dealing with her, don't worry.

In his head, Luciano decided to abruptly cut out the lusty sounds of his sex-starved wolf as Ariel's smoky blue glance collided with his chilling dark blue eyes, which were regarding her with as much emotion and anger as a dog would to a long-buried bone that it had just found once again. He was indeed very angry and the livid werewolf billionaire was making sure that Ariel could see and feel it.

He is very angry, distrustful and ready to make snap judgements and decisions regarding me, she estimated fearfully. He is not visiting in the spirit of goodwill and why indeed would he? I had ran away from him without any form of explanation leaving behind an audacious demand for space and avoidance on my part.

Ariel tilted her chin up as if she was showing that she was unaware of nor bothered by Luciano's scrutiny and concentrated on the older man who seems nice, instead. Even though she did observe that Damien was admittedly as huge as and muscular as his employer. Additionally, she's surprised that with this huge form of his, he's slightly bowing at every word coming out of Luciano's mouth as if it was a sign of obeisance and agreement.

"Does money bring out such forms of respect and fear?" the poor little lady murmured to herself.

The tension in the atmosphere was making her stomach perform nauseous somersaults and was even suffocating her causing her to loose control of her vocal cords. She knew that she needed to get a grip on herself and end things there and then, if she intends to avoid furthering any contact with her seductively scrumptious ex-lover. But before she could talk, the booming sound of Luciano's loud baritone could be heard echoing inside her head.

YOU ARE COMING HOME WITH ME! TODAY! He declared authoritatively in her mind.

I'm going nowhere with you! she courageously replied back in her brain. She was not sure she can explain how she could hear his thoughts in her head nor knows how she's sure he can hear and understand her response to this thought. But she's sure of one thing, nothing has been normal for her since meeting Luciano.

Even with his massive muscular form towering over her slim petite body, she could not in her life understand why she has never been scared of him. Deep down with all her fears and everything, she knows and feels for certain that Luciano would never hurt her physically, no matter how frightening he is to others. She does not understand how but she knows he will never hit her.

"You said what?" He loudly shouted back at her.

"I said and I repeat, I'm going nowhere with you!" she yelled back.

With a defeated look, Luciano calmly but grudgingly said ok to her.

She couldn't believe it! That all it took was for her to make her stand against him. If she had known, she would have just told him instead of running out on him the way she did. With a regretful look, Ariel was about to apologies for her running out on him the way she did two weeks ago and end up thinking all would be fine and friendly once again. But Ariel was completely taken aback with young business tycoon's next statement.

Or should she say command...

"Get her bags and luggage then meet us in the car," Luciano ordered Damien as he moved out if the house with a furious Ariel in his broad muscled arms while shouting angrily and pounding his wide, hard chest.

"You cannot think for one minute that you'll ever be getting out of this marriage, my dear Ariel." He mentions tonelessly. "Your parents are already at my place, waiting for us to finalize our union so I'm taking you back home to finish what we started, he declared unwaveringly with an enraged look as he dropped her carefully into the back of his company's latest model of a black Lincoln limo and immediately ordering the chauffeur to lock her in.

"Do not forget, I am devilishly into you and you are mine! So don't go anywhere without me again," Luciano placatingly confessed, shifting suddenly to a loving tone, leaving her gawking and speechless in surprise.

Meanwhile, the old man was now walking up towards the other side of the road where the limo was parked. With him were her cases and luggage that he had slung on his shoulders and holding them with his hands. Also, he carefully nudging with his feet a single lavender hard case towards their luxury car even as he had his hands full with Ariel's other bags.

"How could Damien let Luciano do this to me? I thought he was on my side!" she complained while pounding continuously on the widow of the limo, leaving her knuckles red and swelling from her repeatedly hitting and punching the window of double-layered reinforced plexiglass.
