Tara's POV:

As I saw Evan's car disappear in the distance, I couldn't help but stomp my feet angrily.

When I saw Evan's dark face, after seeing Anya with Kester, I couldn't help but feel delighted. Thinking that it was a good chance for me, I ran after him. However, I didn't expect him to ignore me and drive away.

All of a sudden, Evan's indifferent behavior towards me comes into my mind, and I feel panicked in my heart.

In the eyes of the outsider, Evan and I had a very good relationship and we were about to get married. however, I was the only one who knew the truth behind our relationship.

Even though Evan was good to me all these years, I could see the frigidity in his eyes. Ever since he divorced Anya, he seldom smiles.

Over the years, he had completely become a workaholic and sometimes it would even take two or three months for me to look at him at once. And now when Anya is back and even has two boys who look like Evan.

'What if Evan is the father of those kids? No. No. it can't be.'

"Miss Walter, when are you and Mr. Cater getting married?"

"What do you think of your sister taking over the Walter Group?"

As I was lost in my thoughts, I didn't even realize when I was surrounded by the group of reporters. As their questions fell into my ear, I pulled myself back from my thought.

However, looking at the group of reporters in front of me, I just stood there frozen, not knowing what to do. Since I had never been exposed to the media, I didn't know how to handle them at all.

As I was stammering, thinking what to do, suddenly a hand pulled me aside. As I looked over to see, who he was, I saw my mother standing in front of me.

Seeing her, I couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

My mother looked at the reporters and said, "Sorry, sorry! But we don't have any interview today!" Saying that, she held my hand and was about to leave, but the reporters didn't let us go.

"Please say something Mrs. Walter!" A reporter said.

With a polite smile on her face, my mother looked at the reporters confidently and said, "Thanks for your concern, fellows. Mr. Cater and my daughter's wedding will be held on time. As for when and where, I can't tell you for now. And I beg you, please leave some space for the young ones. Thank you!"

"What about Karl's will then? Is it true that Anya is going to take over the Walter Group?"

"Well. um. of course that not true! That's nothing but a rumor. How can we leave such a large group in the hands of an inexperienced girl."

Saying that we were about to go, when the sudden commotion behind us, drew my attention. As I looked over, I saw Anya and Kester walking out of the cemetery together.

Looking at them together, I couldn't help but clench my fists.

Kester was born into a wealthy family and had grown into a handsome young man with a promising future. He was no less than Evan.

How can someone like him be with a woman like Anya, who was kicked out of the Cater family?

How can that bitch be so lucky?

'What so good about that bitch that every man got attracted her her?'

The more I thought about it, the angrier I got. I wanted to kill that bitch, but I had no choice but to control my emotions. After all, that old man had left all his inheritance to her and if anything happened to her, it would not be good for us.

Thinking that, I clenched my fists and tried my best to calm down.

"Anya, are you about to take over the Walter Group?"

"Did Karl make a will to bequeath the position of head of the family to you?"

Mia's POV:

Seeing Anya surrounded by the reporters, I couldn't help but feel delighted. I knew Anya very well. Ever since she was a child, she was a stupid and cowardly pushover. This was also the reason, I said everything in front of reporters with so much confidence.

Considering Anya's personality, it will not me too long to manipulate her and make her give up on Walter Group's shares.

How can someone like her know how to deal with reporters?

I wanted to see Anya make a fool of herself in front of the reporters, but Anya's next sentence was like a slap in my face.

"Yes," Anya answered in a calm and crispy voice.

"So, Miss Walter, is it okay to reveal the contents of the will?" A reporter asked.

"About the will, I have delegated full power to my lawyer to handle it. There will be a press conference to announce the contents of the will! Thank you for your concern."

As I saw Anya handle the press so confidently, I couldn't help but grit my teeth in anger.

'This little bitch! It's only been a couple of years, but she is not that stupid girl anymore!' I couldn't help but curse inwardly.

"Anya, don't say anything in front of the reporters! Did you consult your father about the will? Did you consult the Board of Directors? The old man's just been buried, and you are trying to take over your father's position as Chairman?" I said sarcastically, glaring at Anya.

Hearing that, Anya looked straight into my eyes and said, "I am just following Grandpa's wishes. If you have any questions or complaints, please contact my lawyer." Her eyes were calm and cold, I couldn't see what she was thinking.

After Anya finished speaking, she turned around and followed Kester into the car, completely ignoring me. this kind of Anya made me feel a little panicky.

"Anay!" As I saw her leaving the car, my face turned livid with anger.

I can't believe that a few years could change her so much! It must be Kester who was supporting her behind her back, that was why she was jumping so much. Otherwise, with Anya's intelligence, how would she dare to treat me like this.' I couldn't help but comfort myself in my heart.
